Would really love if u did more videos like this for Downtown KL for couples 1 bed Neighood Nearby to KL by LRT MRT max 30 min But plz consider making a longer video showinf more things, like a mall, resturants etc. Not touring all that i get thats too much but even an exterior shot and a street name and malll name is enough And yes plz demographic data is key of malay/indian/chinese/expat
As a Malaysian I visited Turkey few years ago, the public spaces are pet friendly and even a 90% Muslim country citizens kept dogs as their pets, It’s nice to see how different cultures embrace pets in their daily lives, regardless of religious or cultural differences.
as a muslim, i don't really mind dogs as long as they're well trained and behave. as someone grew up in chinese majority area, i encountered a lof of dogs, i remember as a kid, i always get chased with some dogs but they don't bite. I don't even mind touching, pet them, we just need to wash our hands afterwards. unfortunately, cats here also being neglected. i've seen a lot of sick stray cats in malaysia, and the people staying on that area are not even helping. I've seen people kicking cats and yes they are muslim. we shouldn't despise them
Ambil contoh turkiye......
Thanks for you comment, appreciate it. Yes there are a lot of strays, particularly cats. Unfortunately the resources aren't there to take care of them and make sure pets are desexxed from the beginning which would solve the unwanted births. Personally I know many people who have adopted cats from the streets, but there's only so much that can be done like that. Thanks again for raising awareness, let's take care of all pets!
For the Sofia apart, there reason why its cheaper end, its because that there is no swimming pool ,nor there is gym. a friend is living there now and there is barely a kitchen in there. just a small pantry space. thought its a pet friendly appartment and its a small cosy and comfy apartment unit. hope this helps.
Great insights! Thanks for sharing this comment. For some perspective, it sounds exactly like my old apartment in Sydney 😂 except that cost 1600 DOLLARS a month :/
@@JackAlderton If you notice, Sofia apartment is rental only, because the apartment was sold in part of the "first time property owner programe". To qualify, you need to have certain base Salary i.e 3k a month to qualify and so on. so yea. Edit and these apartment cant be sold to another tenant for the next, i don't know, 20 years or something. so these apartment value would not increasse.
Those dogs look docile, but not the dogs in my neighborhood, few of them bark like crazy, day and night. Do you have rules and regulations in Sydney, Australia pertaining to loud noises from people or dogs from the neighborhood.
Yeah that's the hard part with dogs, they need to be trained and can cause problems when not looked after properly. There are strict council rules around barking and noise that disturbs others in Sydney, most of the time there are solutions but the unfortunate case would be them being removed (rare). I grew up with dogs as pets and do miss seeing them over here, but now I really love and appreciate cats too!
@@JackAlderton Thank you for your kind reply. Yes, exactly on my mind, dogs supposed to be a pet that need to be trained, not a watch dog, thinking the public area are their territory. And thank you for letting me know about the sttict rules pertaining to noise in Sydney, something that Malaysia need to consider carefully. Disturbing the neighbor shouldn't be taken lightly, not only loud barking dogs, but other loud noises, for instance racing motorcycles and cars that converted their exhaust into something so nonsense, all those contribute to noise pollution and disturbing people peace of mind. Have a great weekend Jack. 😀

Actually, you can take the dog out as long as it is not a city or places that has too many people. I took my dog out on my landed house days. Nobody cares.
That's good! Yeah I point it out because most of us from overseas are used to being able to walk dogs at the park. It was a surprise to me at first that dogs were banned from public parks, so it's just something different that people need to keep in mind if they move or visit Malaysia.
Its not Islam not accepted dog, its due to human health , cleaness & safety and dog well-being as well. Dog need large space and outdoor nature they love to run and stay outdoor. Islam make sure they can live the best way they can, stay outdoor and run around in orchid or farm. We love them , we have “handling” guideline in Islam for dog n pig as well.
Sure, thanks for the insights. By 'ess accepted, I mean they are less common as pets, not allowed in many building complexes and banned from public parks. This is very different to Western countries and may take people by surprise who aren't aware. It's not a bad thing and I certainly respect the culture but it's a good point to educate those who don't know. Cheers for watching and leaving a comment to help us understand more!
I see. Yes foreigners mainly need to be aware that dogs are not allowed in public parks, for what I assume is this reason. It's normal to take your dog for a walk in the park in many other countries, so it's a big difference here. Thanks for the comment.
@@JackAldertonActually it is okay to walk your dogs in the parks etc. Under the sharia dogs are considered as filth but it is okay for Muslims to touch them. Muslims are only required to cleanse parts of their body using water where 1/7 part of it is mixed with soil if they come into contact with the dog’s saliva, sweat or excrements for the purpose of performing daily prayers. Other than that it is a non issue. There are other Islamic Sunni school of thought which allows taking in dogs as pets. However Msian Muslims mostly adhere to the strictest Sunni branch known as the Shafie sect which only allows Muslims to take in dogs as guards to protect their houses or farms and not as pets to play with. There are many educated Msian Muslims who understand what Islam wants to achieve beyond the schism of the differing opinions of the different Islamic sects where to them the presence of dogs or not have no bearing at all in the way they live their lives. To them Islam is a complete but simple religion. That’s why in a much developed and democratic Islamic countries like Iran, Turkey, Msia and Indonesia for example whose educated Muslim population are relatively higher, they are not bothered by the daily mundanes of their religious life compared to those ruled by absolute monarchs and dictatorships. In Islamic faith there are solutions to every problems. If there are dogs around the house, you can simply wash up and cleanse yourselves on parts of your body that you think have come into contact with your dog’s saliva, sweat etc in the manner prescribed by the sharia before performing your prayers. The problem with some Muslims today is their own ignorance, where because of it they turn the simplistic and practical nature of Islam into difficulty. They suffer some kind of an OCD symptom believing that atoms or particles of a dog’s saliva might fly and come into contact with their bodies which might render their prayers void since they are praying with some kind of dog filth present. They forget that Allah Himself has reminded them via the Quran of the story of Samiri which had befallen upon the Jews during the time of Moses so that they won’t turn into some OCD patient who are always doubtful on matters that they shouldn’t. Sadly, the problem among Muslim today is their own ignorance of their religion they love so much they turn it into something that others who don’t know to hate. They think that they are so righteous for acting like an OCD patient they bask themselves in it like they are the most righteous of Muslims among Muslims. They value form over substance. They keep goatees trying to emulate the prophet but turn away when you ask them to behave like the prophet. The end of times is indeed nigh😅
Yes, that's right! Even though they're not allowed as pets but they are allowed as guard dogs, farm animals dog, as long as they are useful instead of just a frivolous pet. Despite the restrictions, kindness is required in dealing with all God's creatures even the unclean ones.
I dont like dog because their poop is big as human poop😅, it is difficult to take care them, they bark so loud, and i do not like hostile animals that sometime can attack human.
Fair enough, if they are trained well and taken care of most dogs are lovely. There is a term 'man's best friend' and I can agree with it, having grown up with dogs as pets - but I respect your view. I have cats now and they are great!

We usually go to the Desa Patk City club to play tennis. They hv 2 large swimming pools, children pool, gym, etc. Super good facilities.
Fantastic! Looks like where I walked past, I'll have to check it out next time, thanks for the tip.
As a muslim Malaysia ,i love dogs, it maybe not be easy to handle for muslim, but i like the cute ones though, its not Springfield dont worry heheh

LOL ARE THE CHINESE RESIDENTS STAYING CLOSE TO THE DOG AREA FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE?
Probably because they enjoy having dogs as pets and enjoy their company, just like I do
