This training wasn’t just 20 years...it was thousands and thousands of years of training. The Amazons and Diana age incredibly slowly. This is the training, life experience, and knowledge that no other superhero on the justice league will ever have.

Robin Wright's portrayal of Antiope is absolute perfection. I am more intimidated of her than Wonder Woman. It would have been wonderful to see more of her character, particularly in the SnyderCut.

I think one of the reasons Antiope is intimidating is because she is a hardened warrior that wouldn't hesitate to kill while Diana will only do it as a last resort.

As a woman, not only did this movie literally move me with the women in the film, directing it, costuming it, etc. I really enjoyed it as a superhero movie (I had very high expectations and was coming in not highly thinking of it). The costumes are amazing and take in to account a female warrior, the director shows women in all beautiful forms, and to be honest I have a slight crush on her aunt and mother!
That’s what I was expecting my expectations were high after seeing this on dvd in May

Can we just appreciate that gal gadot was pregnant while filming for this movie. The scenes she had to fight she did it without a stunt double, the commitment to her craft is what makes her iconic.She really is a wonder woman!

Antiope gave her the key to her inner source of power. Her believe in Diana is undoubtable. As a true warrior she knew from the beginning that self defence is the way to fight against their greatest enemy Ares. What a great aunt to know sometimes children have to go their own way and decide against her sisters former way without fighting abilities💖.
Wonder woman is honestly so inspirational, because of this movie it kind of woke me up and inspired me to work harder to get in shape and be healthier. I would love a movie that's just about the Amazons!!

Yes - the Themyscira scenes were shot in several different locations along the coast of Italy.
Themyscira is on the Bermuda triangle. Everyone wonders why planes crashes anytime they fly near it.
Plane crashes and boatds disapear cause the weather there are mostly big storms in the area

I didn't see disappointment. I saw shock.Maybe a bit of respect from some of the warriors. Like they weren't expecting her to do that. I think her mom thought she could train with her aunt, but I don't think she was ready for Diana to find her true power so soon.
This was what the sequel has done wrong. They made her out to be a genius who could even best others who have more experience than her. I like this Diana more, it shows her hard work, her path to something greater. That's why it feels great to see her kickass. Cuz we have seen how much she has worked for it, not becaused she was born for it or she was already better than the others, but rather because she had to bleed and sweat for it.

Damn. Your absolutely right. There were moments in the sequel that was emotional and feel for the character especially seeing Steve Trevor. Gosh those two have good chemistry in the movie. The third WW needs to have more of the first and we might get that if Lynda Carter has a major role in it. God I hope so and about time. 👍🏿

I cry and get goosebumps every time I hear tiny bits of Diana's theme in this movie, along with the huge orange shockwave at the end. Truly this is the best superhero film of 2017. Let Christopher Nolan and Patty Jenkins direct the rest of the franchise. James Wan and Snyder will be directors of visual, special, and sound effects, along with cinematography. Snyder will also be the producer, and of course, always Hans Zimmer as the head composer.

The bracelets are not the ones causing the power. Diana channels her power through them, that's why she can also channel lightenings (her Father's most distinctive power) when fighting against Ares.

If you ever get a chance to read the original comics, Antiope is one hell of a badass, even more than shown here. There is one scene in the George Lopez comics where Antiope and a handful of Amazon soldiers go and hunt down and butcher every one of Heracles' ENTIRE ARMY in vengeance for Heracles' rape of Hippolyta - even the goddess Athene is taken aback by their savagery. Do not vex, anger, or otherwise piss off Antiope - it doesn't usually end well.

Is it me or do some of the of the best comic book movies out there often have an awesome training montage? Wonder Woman has it...SHAZAM! has it....Aquaman has it....Batman Begins has it....Ant-Man has it....even Iron Man has it.....frankly though, the training montage is the best part of any movie.

I've send it once and I'll say it again, Rockstead Games NEEDS to focus on Wonder Woman having her own Game or Games. And to her fighting with Swords and Sheild or with Bow and Arrows (which is my favorite) would be Cool to see that, using it in combat then being able to shoot someone after.
