Yep and I almost turned into Diana
she was so close to turning into injustice diana, only thing that stopped her was steve
"Man's aggression cannot be tempered, only quelled!"
Funny thing. There is an annual Injustice 2 comic, that shows how Injustice Diana became the... Injustice version of herself. And it was literally because of Steve.
SPOILER:
Steve Trevor actually was a sleeper Nazi soldier, and used Wonder Woman, in attempt to get the Lasso of Truth. But he was found out by one of the amazonians (who he shot by an accident) and Diana in anger, decapitated him with the very Lasso of Truth.
She was about to take a life (Dr Poison) for the wrong reason out of hate and revenge then she remembered what Steve told her before he died.
Yes dceu's justice is leaving the bosses alive and killing his army like they werent lives
Actuaaly ij's ww is "obsessesion with superman"
Her pain at 2.26 after seeing him leave her at that moment. The way she yells in agony is truly heartbreaking.

When Diana raged in agony and you see those little lightnings, what a way to show her connection to Zeus as his daughter. Goosebumps literally.
That was literally Woody.EXE after he accidentally hurt me and my god the anger in him felt so real when Woody.EXE finally faces Jessie as I was just lying there bleeding out

I want to see her generate electricity in the next few films. The fact Zeus is her fucking blood father is why she’s my favorite dc hero and should be fully taken advantage of.
Major props for Ares design as well. He looks amazing. Terrifying, war like, armored, but completely in incumbents by his armor it’s an amazing thing to see a movie so well fleshed out through a lot of the characters.

LVZ You are right, he’s a Heroe
He also taught her some things that molded her into the WW we know today. Mostly what sacrifice really means, how to dig deep inside you, and give all you have. Her mom said in the beginning about her (Diana) not knowing what it means to sacrifice because, unlike the other Amazons, she never knew war. Diana even kept the last name he gave her.

3:42 This part right here is the pinnacle of this scene for me.
“Look at her, and tell me I’m wrong! She is the perfect example of these humans, and unworthy of you sympathy in every way!”
Chills every time I hear those words and watch Dr. Maru’s mask fall away to reveal her monstrous scars.
Dr. Maru really is the perfect example of the dark side of humanity, and her face reflects that. Not just committing horrible, self-serving, and destructive acts of violence (the scars from past experiments on weapons and on humans gone wrong), but covering it up with what we want people to see (her mask).
Dr. Maru covered up her evil deeds with a mask of scientific advancement, brilliant personal achievements and defending her homeland.
When Ares strips the mask away, he’s showing Diana that there is nothing redeeming, nothing glorious, about what she’s accomplished. All she has done is make the world a more violent and evil place.
And so she deserves to die.
But Diana knows that what’s underneath Marus mask isn’t all that she is, or ever could be. She isn’t naïve. She knows that Maru is everything Ares says.
But Steve and her friends showed her how much more they can be.
Somehow Patty Jenkins captured the essence of humanity with this scene. That dispute all the hurt we cause, the ways we fail, the things we hide behind the masks, we can still be so much more.
You know, I usually hate long comments but you hit the nail on the head. Very well said.

Nah... just you.
At 1:18 she felted so lonely without Steve. That's why she called him several times until his death. And then the anger and pain she had in loosing him. It almost turned her into the "dark side". That's what Ares was trying to do (he was very satisfied at the moment) until she remembered Steve's last words.

It wasn’t 1940s it was 1918
There’s a moment in 2:05 where we can see him knowing that it’ll be the last time he’s alive. The sense of grief follows but then at 2:12, acceptance, his love for her and his reason “why” gives him the strength to pull the trigger. That scene on the plane was just superb!!! The only thing bad about this film is that Ares is still an old man after his transformaion.

Bitch Lasagna I cry every time. You’re not alone.
I'll have to admit after watching Wonder woman 1984. That movie just made this one a lot better even the final act.
That disaster movie made Ares look like a fucking saint. Cheetah’s power came from a dumb wish (being a furry/apex predator) and her buildup kinda sucks unlike Ares. He’s more cooler even with less screentime, unlike cheetah my eyes just rolls out everytime. I blame the writing not the actors tho
It’s really too bad how much the second one failed. It had the potential and the start to being really good and then it just... wasn’t. I though Wiig did a great job with the character and that it could have been really cool but then bad writing got in the way and... yeah.
The pandemic damaged that movie's production.
I don’t know why Gal is being so heavily criticized. Sure, she’s not the greatest actress ever but she did so well here. You can feel her pain, she was amazing in this scene!
When Wonder Woman finally let go and went Goddess mode when she seen Steve die was perfect and sad at the same time!

The power of Hestia goddess of the hearth
If Ares hadn't mocked Steve, she probably would've joined him.
I don't think he was so much as mocking Steve as pointing out that human mortality was so fleeting that it was worth nothing. That whatever good or kindness that could be mustered was inconsequential to the point of pathenticness.
I will join others who turn insane
@@bioniclefan1995 Well Humans can live for 80-100 years maximum and The Old Gods have eternal life and can only be killed by another of his kind.

And everyone forgets that diana is five thousand years old in this movie and the ones taking place in the present (and ares calls her "child")
The first WW film takes place in 1917-1918 and the events of Justice League are set in 2017, 100 years have passed and Diana looks the same and she is half god not a full one.
When Diana scream , my god. I have goosebumps .
Steve’s death was truly emotional.
How they held each other in compassion, and love for one another, ready to bravely die, is the moment of this film that I'll never forget.
Wow the directing, acting & music just was fantastic
This movie such a bop I watched before but i love this last scene

02:32 Super Saiyan Diana, with Ares as Freiza and Steve as Krillin (except Steve sacrificed himself willingly)
Ares and steppinwulf are my favorite marvel villains of all time well played very much so...👏👏👏
Me encanta Diana y la protagonista, excelente
Yo también, pero me niego a creer que Ares no solo la apuñaló o la derrotó de una vez por todas durante todo el minuto y medio que estuvo mirando el avión
her reaction literally gave me goosebumps
