I think that Diana and Steve's relationship is one of if not the best part of the movie. The actors have such delightful chemistry and both characters genuinely grow together. However, even if that weren't true, the way Chris Pine says "I love you" (0:52) is so authentic, so impactful, so perfect that it would be enough to sell me on their romance. What a legend.

@Sandra Sandoval True because Steve also wanted to be a hero like her & they both became heroes like Steve heroically giving up his life which also showed Diana that humankind is worth protecting so she destroys Ares to free humanity from his influence because she accepts their flaws but it costed them to have more time until 1984
Chris Pine in this scene always wells me up. They did Steve’s heroic sacrifice right by spotlighting him reconciling his self elected fate with personal peace in such a human way.

Sounds like she’s (director) afraid to go big and full of spectacles because she thinks it needs grounded. Audiences are used to seeing big spectacles on scree with Superhero movies and this is what we want. Studio knows what sells and they went ahead and trusted her judgment with 1984 - mistake. This movie would've NEVER been made today. I'm so glad this exists!

However, even if that weren't true, the way Chris Pine says "I love you" (0:52) is so authentic, so impactful, so perfect that it would be enough to sell me on their romance. What a legend.
Yep so far she loved steve for his human instincts and he loved her for being a badass fearless goddess too.
She was only with him for a few days. What kind of love is that?
@@L-eye-t well they were connecting a, little bit some times miracles can happen you never know.

From Themyscira to London, by boat, in the early 20's must have took a couple of weeks to complete, at least. They only show what they could with the time they had to make the movie.
Professor Lupin! What do you think you're doing, your students are waiting for you in the library restriction section!
The Truth of him being a "werewolf" was just a cover for him being Ares.
He is sooo getting fired after this! Parents will be writing in complaining - they won't want Ares teaching their children.
When she blocked that thunder bolt, that was bad ass, and when she said “Goodbye brother” and went all ham on him, that made my hair stand up. Epic.
This movie set the bar so high ww84 was nothing compared to this
Yeah exactly
@@Palmtreemusica my only problem is that why the fuck did they have to do the movie in 1984
In BvS they said that she was dormant for 100 years since her first appearance which was 1916 to her second appearance in 2016 in BvS,why why 1984 i can't believe they ruined Wonder Woman 1984,like compare that to this bro, there's a huge difference between them

During the First World War really? Why wasn’t she there then because Diana could’ve saved them
Or it could’ve been me to do that
“It’s not about deserve, it’s about what you believe. And I believe in LOVE.”
Wow, what a powerful statement!
The Official Andy Saenz it is but doesn’t make much sense given the context of the situation, she wont kill poison but she’ll kill ares and somehow says its for love..?
I think you spelled "painfully cheesy" incorrectly
she should have just said something like some of them are horrible, but some of them are worth saving
I mean that was the point of her little thing with Chris Pine
instead she says they are all of those things and more?
man, not all of us are Nazis lmao
Ikr aries was trying to cause corruption against humanity and Diana had to prove out to him that he was dead wrong and carelessly rebelliously selfish the guy was psycho if you ask me,he had to be stopped really.

Kami Easton and I'm literally crying 😭
I LOVE YOU those words which brought her back from the brink of darkness, Steve did not only save millions from dying but also saved Diana👍🏻
It has to be me, it has to be me, I can save the day, you can save the world.
I wish we had more time
That happens in my Endgame dreams all the time because when waring Thanos, Tony says all this to me

Remember, this is the same Ares that wounded Darkseid near to death.
Thanks for this, I was wondering who was that guy who critically injured darkseid in snyder cut.
Not exatcly, Zeus rip off Ares power.
Ares in this movie isn't in prime condition like he fought Darkseid.

You mean "Hela".
"I can save today. You could save the world"

Chris Pine in this scene always wells me up. They did Steve’s heroic sacrifice right by spotlighting him reconciling his self elected fate with personal peace in such a human way.

It’s a nice thought but practically nonsensical...
Martin Luther king vs the entire SS for example, who id want to win and who I think would win is a totally different answer.

thats a stretch, gotta be able to act to be an actress.
I wish they had kept this same energy for the other DCU movies. As a marvel fan, this was by far a thousand times better than Captain Marvel, yet the movie studio didn't keep to this same energy for the other DCU movies.
Captain Marvel is a joke!
I am disappointed that she is so overpowering and the enemys gave no challenge at al!
If you hate capital marvel you are indeed a MCU fan.
@@72hoor-not_enough You are right about that. Let's not talk about how she did in Endgame. They botched her character big time.
**Laughs in Zack Snyder’s Justice League**
0:36 he caresses her face, one of the thing he does everytime he is with her (too bad they cut it in the next camera shoot). One of the things I love the most when I watch those two.
I was crying when steve says "i love you" to wonder woman
Gab Robedillo same 😥😥
I realy think he mean it 💔
Gab Robedillo dont worry he just magically ends up in perfect condition in a different time period despite being blown apart in an airplane explosion almost 100 years ago in the sequel so :P
Well there's a shortage in Supply of tissues during this Pendemic ,
So please save your tears for real Deaths🥺
They said the director did not want this big ending and the studio made her do it. I like this ending.
Yup thank god... if not this will be ww84 all over again
Would I be hearing those who died in the flu of 1918? Absolutely not. I first heard them in 2020
Sounds like she’s (director) afraid to go big and full of spectacles because she thinks it needs grounded. Audiences are used to seeing big spectacles on scree with Superhero movies and this is what we want. Studio knows what sells and they went ahead and trusted her judgment with 1984 - mistake. I’ve heard they will have Synder direct WonderWoman 3. The old saying goes, “Go big or go home.”
@@mikewhocheeseharry5292 Except one of the major criticisms of this movie is this part. People hate the third act. I think they're wrong and its phenomenal, but people don't like it. Of course they didn't have a huge fight in 1984 and people hated that too, so they just can't win. If people hadn't complained about this movie though, maybe we'd have gotten a cool fight to end 1984.
@@mikewhocheeseharry5292 I mean the studio produced justice league and that was crap but go on about what the studio knows. Snyder cut was great, WW84 wasn’t bad people hate it cause they expected a showdown but it was meant for her to move on from Trevor. But go on about the director not knowing what they are doing.

I didn’t like that music that played every time that she did something
It’s because Zeus ripped off Ares power when he rebelled against his dad. Unlike when they are still good to each other and fought darkseid together, Ares still has his original power
That alien is too powerful 🤣🤣🤣

Yes i love it too
So are we just going to skip the fact she was low key flying and hovering before Steve taught her to fly in 84?
Specifically here for this comment.
Bruh I rewatched it like two days ago and was like wtf!??? I’m guessing she just forgot she could fly🤷🏾♂️
This version of WW should not be flying. Period.
She was hovering, that’s different from flying
Not flight. Jump good.
See we all agree Gal being a perfect fit for WW
But can we all agree Chris here is no lesser gem for his portrayal. Tears 😭
The good bye/I love you scene is actually very touching. They did a great job.
It was recently confirmed that this guy is Palpatine.
He just said *"Do It"* before this and gave the biggest blast of Force lightning out as well.
Lol I guess he’s a clone
@Pratyush Kathuria I hate when people do that, comparing stuff to well known things like Batman or Star Wars. Batman was extremely similar to many previous characters (like the Black Bat), and almost everything in Star Wars is lifted from classic European comicbooks (like Valerian). There´s absolutely nothing original in SW. Not even the lightsabers.

This scene right here, Steve's goodbye wrecked my fucking soul
My favorite scene is 1:37. How he opens his eyes when he realizes what is happening. That he has no chance. He has never been so scared and shocked in his life. A completely new feeling that he has never felt before. He actually was scared to death that moment. Damn it is so good
He was never scared of diane😂😂😂, he was surprised that she could take him on when he was at his weakest
At 2:33 I bet you when she was smiling she felt the presences of her own father, feeling how proud is he.
Steve's final words are still unmatched to this day.
Diana:" It not about Deserve,
It about what you believe, and
I believe in Love... "
I love this line...

I love when the movie starts and the events in the movie happen then the end part then the credits role indicating that the movie is over
The music starting at 0:53 makes me emotional 😭
Soundtrack is lightning strikes (:
One of my favorite movies, and by far the best superhero movie ever made. Who would've thought that you can have genuinely evil bad guys, a female lead who is not acting or looking like a guy, but is actually sexy, dangerous, intelligent and badass all without losing her femininity, and even ROMANCE with a guy who is not a pushover(?!) and make a ridiculously fabulous and successful superhero movie with all that? This movie would've NEVER been made today. I'm so glad this exists!
Movie ain't good tho. The third act is just nonsense
The fact that we had a Superhero movie in 2017 where the main character, the main HERO unironically and without the slightest whiff of cynicism says "I believe in love" honestly makes me want to cry.
Steve: “I wish we have more time... I love you.”
😭😭😭
For Sec Basically 👩❤️💋👨
Plot twist: *after her fight with Aries she throws a tank at her*
😂
That's savage
Just from me: This is who she truly is in her heart, I believe in gal, we love you.
This movie was so much more than a superhero movie... absolute gold.
GAL WAS AMAZING CAST TO THIS ROLL!!!!!!!!!
The way Chris said I love u ugh 💔 and the fact he realy have a crush on her felt so real!! 0:51
Where was this power in justice league?
Asking that to joss whedon.
And Zack Snyder, because in his version Wonder Woman was also weak... its not just Joss' fault.
Hell in Zacks version Wonder Woman failed to save the people in that bank with a bomb...
If her bracelet didn't absorbed Ares' lightning she wouldn't be able to defeat ares so
I guess it's because the lightning was Zeus' power not hers though she can hold the lightning but temporarily. She can only use it one time.
Aj Reyes She's more than her bracelets. In the movie she's bulletproof with them but in the comics she's bulletproof entirely. Same goes for all her power.
These kind of movies are making me feel something I can’t describe! I love this film sm! So amazing!
I like the guy Steve trevor
