One of my friends had a maid of honor as well as a matron of honor for her wedding so like equivalent titles but one of them was married and one of them wasn’t and that only happened because the initial one wouldn’t step up and help with anything!!😗😗 some people have double maid of honors too

The New Girl was predictable from the first episode. The Office was a wonderful, chaotic mess up until season 7. After that it became simply a chaotic mess, but still worth finishing.

I still cannot grasp why people loved White Lotus so much. What was the appeal? Why are people so obsessed with that show? Please explain. I just don't get it. Also, you guys are wrong about Parks & Rec. There is a HUGE cult following for P&R. HUGE. I think you guys are surrounded by the LA & NYC folk that it's easier to see the Seinfeld influence in your entertainment life circles.

@@shadowcat5517 Me too! I am still mad about it. I was so irritated the entire time. If they showed one more shot of the dark, foreboding ocean one more time, I was going to throw something at my TV. My husband and I still yell about how angry we are that we wasted our time on that show bc of all the hype. Ugh!
Honestly you only love that show if you love gossip about random people and love celebrities that gays adore like Aubrey plaza or Jennifer Coolidge. It’s not baaaad, but it’s not the masterpiece people say it is, and also I was annoyed by Jennifer Coolidges character :(
I think it's moreso the generational gap than "LA/NYC" crowd. Seinfeld was the first modern sitcom. It's the show that popularized the genre. So it was extremely influential for anyone who grew up in the 90s. Like even in LA, ask someone over 35 what was the show they watched, they'll say Seinfeld. Ask a 35 and younger, they'll pick parks and rec
@@attabooii I think you'll hear Friends more often than Seinfeld for anyone in their 30s and early 40s. Seinfeld will still come up, but Friends will come up more often. Once you get into the boomer generation you'll hear Cheers and Golden Girls.

i think a lot of these shows are too new to be "cult". also, usually there's the premise that if something is a cult favorite it wasn't actually popular when it came out but then gained a following later on.

MOH is just a title - and you gotta set the expectations if you have them. Plus, you might have a friend who loves planning but theyre not your MOH, but they still want to help because that's their jam. My best friend got married and only had one bridesmaid, her sister, who was her moh. With that said, I still co-planned her stagette, filmed her wedding and gave a speech... I didn't need the title of MOH. My other best friend had her 4 childhood friends be bridesmaids along with her 2 sisters - again, I planned her wedding haha and the thank you i got in her speech got me a standing ovation
cult classics are shows that are not appreciated for how good they were or for the impact that they had. Grey's Anatomy is the exact opposite of the cult classic
You sure? When I think of cult classics, some are genuinely good, but some are objectively cheesy media that developed a following later on.
Like Wayne’s world is not a good movie objectively and bombed on release but I love it and it is a cult classic. I thought cult classics were more things that had limited commercial success have a timeless following
In that regard I’d agree Greys isn’t one bc it had a following/success at the time it was on air.
Something like freaks n geeks that is good but was under appreciated at initial airing, I’d say is a cult classic.

I always thought a cult classic was a show or movie, that did not have many fans, but very passionate fans. A show or movie who did not get any awards, but still had a passionate fanbase, even though it was small.
Like Supernatural, Agents of Shield, Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Arrow, Happy Endings, Xena and so on.
Not overly popular tv shows, that gets awards for acting and directing and so on.
But good shows, who has a passionate fanbase around them.

They got rid of the couch. May be they're redecorating, in the mean time they have those chairs.

I have realized that since Ariel has been away, I have lost an interested on the podcast I have listened since the beginning. For me, Ariel was really the fundamental reason why I enjoyed it, I really hope that she will come back.
While they have said that she is welcome to come back if/when she ready, I doubt that she will. She probably does not her personal life on social media again.
While I enjoy that they are expanding the try guy universe, I do wish they had announced the new fourth try guy as ariel lol she was always more fun to watch than ned anyway
