Orignal Bi han was neutral. He was responsible for killing scorpion and framed for killing his family. Their rivalry had depth.

And then the devs just suck off Scorpion by having him defeat not only subzero, but also the main villains Shao Khan and Shang Tsung. And of course he did this all while being handcuffed.
What love did they give subzero? None? Subzero fans down bad rn cause Nether realm is too busy grinding on Scorpion.
