- August 2023: Team V3Cars shares the fuel efficiency report of the Volkswagen Virtus DCT in this video after driving it in and around Pune. We not only give you an analysis of the fuel efficiency that the Virtus DCT offers, but also share how it compares against the Verna DCT in terms of fuel efficiency.
The Volkswagen Virtus is available with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT. It’s also available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
We are testing this engine with the 7-speed DCT, and this powertrain churns out 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. It is claimed to deliver 18.41kmpl of fuel efficiency.

16.21 kmpl is the verdict of the video
pls do the same with 1.0 engine with any kushaq/slavia/virtus/taigun... as a 1.5 engine buyer 20 lac car would mostly not care much about fuel efficiency. he would be keen on performance. where as 1.0 buyer in the range of 13-15 lac would like to keep a point on mileage..

I own Slavia 1.5 MT, I get 12-14 in city, 16-19 on highways & 22-23 on Expressway at 82kmph! It's more efficient in Manual! I have seen 25-26 on rare empty road uses. Light footed driving obviously!

12-14 is mixed mileage everyone will get if u are getting below that u need to fix your driving style, or get your car maintained

Verna Launch hone par..virtus influencer marketing start Kar diya hain..but fact yeh hain....age chalke...skoda to rahe jayega...but not seeing anything in future for Volkswagen.
India sales management team..kuch bhi bolle, but It's though for Volkswagen to compete.
But yes Skoda will stay as it has edge over Volkswagen , hence they will keep only one sibling.
And after Bharat Ncap , most of Indian card will be either 4 or 5 sefty rated, so an year down the line, no one will remember the global Ncap score.

Some said in my city (virtus1.5 dsg) is giving him 8 kmpl so i decided to go with Honda city ehev which is giving me 21 to 22 i n my city traffic (Visakhapatnam)
Yes it is correct info , 8 km in city and 16 on highway
Mine Virtus 1.5 GT gave me 22 kmpl om highways and in City it gives 16-17

Good effort but these are just not possible.. no one drives at 65 speed on Highway,
I have Baleno and driving at 92kmph Averafe I get 25kmpl Pune to Mumbai, I was thinking about Upgrading to a bigger sedan segment but does not seem worth given the high pricing and low FE
Hi. We would suggest you record your overall highway journey time some day (incl time spent on toll booths, etc) and then check your average speed. Average speeds on highway drives in India usually hover around 50-80kmph, and not above.

Good informative content but hilarious that you being a car expert was shaking the car while filling the fuel 😂. U shd have used the auto cut off method and u need not turn the car into a dancing car as liquid automatically displaces air and fills up every space available to it. 😊
Auto-cut is different for different nozzles, it is not a factor of a car's fuel tank.
The reason to shake the car -- try filling the car to the max a few times and you will realise that within 5-10 seconds of when it looks like it's full, the fuel actually settles down. It is just to ensure that the level of fuel is maximum. You won't believe us until you do it, so we encourage you to try it yourself. Happy to be your laughing-stock in the meantime.

I have experiences of filling 1.5 litres to 8litres of fuel after the said autocutoff on different occasions.
You can't rely on autocutoff for getting closer to the accuracy mark

Go for seltos mate, reliability matters.

Wrong reporting...I friend has same 1.5 but doesn't give more than 8 in Mumbai City traffic where as other car Honda City CVT gives 12+ in same traffic 😂😂😂
Wrong friend... My friend in Punjab has the same 1.5 but it gives more than 10 in Patiala City traffic where as other Honda City CVT gives 9+ in same traffic 😂😂😂
