Just once I'd like to listen to a properly mic'ed panel discussion. I'm interested in this speaker and topic, too boomy for me to understand. Not blaming this one guy, it's the norm rather than the exception.
I think its because they're mic'ing the room. So we're really listening to the PA system reverberating through the room. It'd be much cleaner if they'd just take a direct mic feed... But more complicated for the guy filming. It also may not be possible depending on the equipment being used.
