Good guide, you hit everything spot on. I've been playing this game from quite some time so I didn't really learn much but it was good to see if I was doing everything correctly. Keep it up your channel is underrated. Btw those are some op boots!
Tof brought back the ssr selector for new players. If your a f2pain like me focus on being a tank or a healer I don't recommend being an attacker if your f2pain unless your super lucky and plan only to pull for selected banner. Pulling on selected banner and putting all your effort on gathering all the dark crystal on the map and having a self control of buddah to not pull is a must for having a high advancement equipment for f2pain which I don't have.
Come back to the game last week and jump level case of story EXP so this is so helpful to catch up with it I have a simple problem I don’t know where to find the ore for advancement the gear
You can get it from elemental rocks. But not very efficient. Another way is to do some Critical Abyss and you can buy Clusters with the points and you can get 7000 a day
Lin and/or Fiona would be most likely be a must have for any team cause you'll realize how much element resistance could be a real pain in the ass if your team is fixed up on 1 element

I have box for a choice of: thunder blades, rosy edge, ice wind arrow, absolute zero, chakram of seas, negating cube, and molten shield v2. Idk which one of these to choose? I only have 2 ssr simulacra, king and Samir. Thank you so much for helping.

You're Welcome, activate is the Simulacrum page you have activate/deactivate. What this does is let you use the skin of the weapon if activated. Deactivated you will use character you created. To activate the simulacrum trait you have to hit the button that says On. If you get an error message it is due to you not awakening the trait. Which you can do in the awaken section if you give them gifts
I only recommend Tsubasa, then Crow or Meryl, then the other one, then Shiro for any standard units to invest Black Golds in. You can A6 three of those with a fresh account by doing every explorations. Your goal later on is to secure a Main DPS limited character and a Buffer limited characters, either at A3 or better (or wherever their buff potential is in ascensions). Then from there save!!! and upgrade or replace every 3 months.
That is not a bad plan. Probably would add King or Shiro. King since he shatters and buffs. While Shiro very strong Shatter and Dmg dealer at high stars. But you should factor element you are going for also.
@@RedefineGamer I did included Shiro. King doesn't buff, but his matrices do. I'm a rainbow main though. Lin Saki Flex-Slot (Usually the unresisted or buffed weapon element).

You have to do a midway tutorial thing. Not sure where it is in Asperia. So I recommend doing the vera quest line. It will take you to Mirrira and show you around the city. Once it complete showing you the city you will have access to the quest and Challenge tab.
and many others lol, was pretty funny and kept me entertained. goad=gold, pacifically = specifically and some more. lol loved it anyway as it made for good entertainment.
I know this is an old video but did they change some of the quests cause I played on mobile when fenrir was released and haven't played in a while. Now I'm playing on ps5 and noticed the hicros section didn't have the bomb defuse part.

So im doing vera and gonna get that out the way to try to get to the gold gear stuff everyone doing in the innars. Enjoying so far lots of free pulls, got yulan lin and fiona and plenty more. TLDR. New player here ar60 in genshin and trying it out ! Just watched the whole video and I have 2 questions . 1: you reccomend using and out of game map to help with exploration , how important is this ? I already have been clearing the map without it and I don’t use the out of game maps in genshin either , but genshin has the compass to finish those 95% Zones. 2: you say build a team purely of one element but then in the video you are showing teams of king with crow ? Those are 2 diff elements I’m confused ! Also should I skip the first zone and focus desert ? Lastly does this games endgame content revolve around healer tank dps trifecta I keep hearing about ? As a f2p what role is the best to aim for ? Team comps seem confusing to me so far
Don't necessarily need the map if you not a completionist most rewards our at the 80% mark. But certain special items like red nucleus can be hard to get to and interactive map show how to do it. For Team Comp I meant you want to try to focus on 1 element. But in the meantime you want a decent team to carry you until you can roll for your limited character to make the desired element team. So using Standard Characters like Crow, King & Tsubasa or good to have while you save for the limited for the element you want. Think having a 4 star team until you can roll for the 5 star you want. For Tank Heals & DPS. Can be whatever role you want. Mainly DPS is used for most thing but for endgames things like Origin of War And Void Abyss Tank And Heals is really needed. Just know dolphins and whales will usually do more DPS. Hopefully this helps

@@bluep1z As far as balancing goes tof has done a good job of making sure every element has good strengths so if you’re divided on what element to focus on just pick whichever one looks the most fun to you! I recommend watching videos of people playing with different comps for you to get a feel of what they’re like.

@@RedefineGamer I don't think I skipped, I have quested in the zone and am almost at 100% completion, I have a quest open where I am returning to the zone to check if the tower is doing ok, and to talk to the big guy, but it seems like I can also just carry on with the Vera quests... I wasn't paying so much attention when I first started playing, but I have a vague idea that I did get some kind of jetboard tutorial... the game is confusing with all the unlocks and menus lol

First played on release but been inactive since then, I chose Ice as my element and currently have a 3 star Meryl, 0 star coco, and nothing for Ice DPS, i just currently use ruby as a placeholder, what Ice DPS should i go for and do i still change 3 star meryl for a better tank weap (I just currently use it for waifu reasons) I also plan to be a support or a tank on teamplay
For tank got quite a few options. Can pick up Saki in the Standard banner. Mimi & Lan are the best so far. For Ice Ling han is good but does have Sustain Issues. So I would recommend saving for a newer Frost unit for now
Any tip about which character I should roll or reroll for as a newbie? I'm really interested in the frost element and Lin but idk of that's the right move.
I would go with Fiona. She is the next character coming out in about 2 weeks. Which will increase all the elements similar to Lin. From there you can decide which element you like best. For Ice Icarus is a good pick but to use him properly you need to jump cancel so could be difficult starting out. But both of there banners should be running at the same time
Hey I just started playing the game and got rubillia, what units should I go for to play with her besides venus(currently tring to get venus might aswell just spend the $5 adventurer pack) Honestly the real question is should I even invest her coz I am a very light spender and just got a lucky pull at the beginning of the game and I have no idea about her
Rubilia is unfortunately a high investment character. She really wants A3 Fenrir or most likely the new Volt character coming out in the future. I would say if you enjoy her playstyle save for new volt in the future. Otherwise go with another type of comp. She unfortunately does not pair well with others characters right now

Hi, what element do you recommend for a new player starting now? I think Lin is not available, what should we do? I am f2p, I see some event stuff but I'm overwhelmed, anything I should take advantage of right now?
If you are able to get A1 fenrir that will be really good starting out. She Heals, Shatters and does alot of dmage. Plus has the balanced resonace so you can pair her up with other units. And strong volt standards like crow, samir and soon to be nemesis you can pick up along the way.

i think you made a very big mistake by saying lyra is not worth it. If you are a fresh player and dont have good dps and still want to do all contend you could play support EVERY WHALE wants a lyra in his party she can do heal+shields +hyperbody lets you facetank stuff and you can basicly do that at c0. And you want that in youre party even if you play frost because then you can use a dmg passive like samirs and do 20% more damage. i play lyra as main and i can do jo 8 with 65% phys reduction solo...she is insane(but to be fair my lyra is c6 and i have here set at 1 star)
Full out lyra is very powerful. Out DPSing Shiro But I think you want 5 stars for healer and out out for DPS. Plus her matrix set is really good as well> if you have all that definitely better than Shiro.
@@RedefineGamer well A1 is dps A3 is dps A5 yes you get the free deaths and A6 is DPS and Heal. But if i m a dps in a grp i normaly dont need the free death if the heal can actualy heal^^ And lyra is the only heal atm that can give Hyperbody and shield to the party. So yeah if we talk about dps youre right just go for shiro its not worth pulling a set+A6 lyra for a 15% dps upgrade thats 100% true. But as heal and support she will not be replaced for a very very long time. And whales will even take you with them if you are C0.
is fenrir realy better for crow and samir? because nemesis is heal,samir damage, crow shield brake? or am i wrong.. i was away since max level was 55 so yea... now we go for fenrir, crow, samir?
It is more Nem is heal/dmg buff with high stars, Samir/crow is dmg but added benefit of giving crit rite due to certain stars. Samir is better in Aoe situation & Crow Single Target. So I would go Fen, Samir, buffer / Fen, Crow, buffer. Could go Claudia 1 star or get Nem for Pure Volt
I already got King in my first x10 and then crow in my x30 Pitty. My only doubt Is, up to what level should i upgrade an ssr weapon that i may not use in the future? Like crow for example.
Depends on how long until you get the characters for your main element team. Ideally you might want to level your standard team to level 100 or higher due to needing a DPS team for the content. Then start replacing for your ideal team. But if it will be a patch or 2 before you get access to your Ideal team I would max level the standard team since you will have time to get the weapon materials.
What matrices does shiro need? I have max weapon lvl and max matrices and 6 stars but I still feel like she's my weakest character 😅😪 what am I doing wrong? Samir and King out do her in my team..
king doesn't shatter at all i played him since global release he's A6 and really sucks and useless now the better options are shiro crow tsubasa and the two healers zero and coco
Some Discharge have i-frames but have to specifically say so in the skill list. I believe Lin & Lyra has a 1.5 sec i-frame. On default most discharges don't

I would go Zero or Coco especially if you want to heal. Otherwise Crow can be a good choice. Or a weapon that goes with your main element

4 months later, the dlss mode tried to kill my gpu when i loaded the game for the first time. The hell is it automatically set to on? Its insane.

Not sure It still should have it but they have added features to help get players into Domain 9 faster
question: Are the coop content mandatory in order to get stronger in this game? And, is the game a full on MMO?
Would not say mandatory. Just helps you get gear faster. But you can Solo Jo’s to get gear

@@RedefineGamer I don't think I skipped, I have quested in the zone and am almost at 100% completion, I have a quest open where I am returning to the zone to check if the tower is doing ok, and to talk to the big guy, but it seems like I can also just carry on with the Vera quests... I wasn't paying so much attention when I first started playing, but I have a vague idea that I did get some kind of jetboard tutorial... the game is confusing with all the unlocks and menus lol
@@RedefineGamer Oh, I just got the quest, looks like I just needed to be a bit more patient, returning to the tower lead to the quest to unlock the jet board :D

First played on release but been inactive since then, I chose Ice as my element and currently have a 3 star Meryl, 0 star coco, and nothing for Ice DPS, i just currently use ruby as a placeholder, what Ice DPS should i go for and do i still change 3 star meryl for a better tank weap (I just currently use it for waifu reasons) I also plan to be a support or a tank on teamplay
For tank got quite a few options. Can pick up Saki in the Standard banner. Mimi & Lan are the best so far. For Ice Ling han is good but does have Sustain Issues. So I would recommend saving for a newer Frost unit for now

Any tip about which character I should roll or reroll for as a newbie? I'm really interested in the frost element and Lin but idk of that's the right move.
I would go with Fiona. She is the next character coming out in about 2 weeks. Which will increase all the elements similar to Lin. From there you can decide which element you like best. For Ice Icarus is a good pick but to use him properly you need to jump cancel so could be difficult starting out. But both of there banners should be running at the same time

Hey I just started playing the game and got rubillia, what units should I go for to play with her besides venus(currently tring to get venus might aswell just spend the $5 adventurer pack)
Honestly the real question is should I even invest her coz I am a very light spender and just got a lucky pull at the beginning of the game and I have no idea about her
Rubilia is unfortunately a high investment character. She really wants A3 Fenrir or most likely the new Volt character coming out in the future. I would say if you enjoy her playstyle save for new volt in the future. Otherwise go with another type of comp. She unfortunately does not pair well with others characters right now

If you are able to get A1 fenrir that will be really good starting out. She Heals, Shatters and does alot of dmage. Plus has the balanced resonace so you can pair her up with other units. And strong volt standards like crow, samir and soon to be nemesis you can pick up along the way.

i think you made a very big mistake by saying lyra is not worth it. If you are a fresh player and dont have good dps and still want to do all contend you could play support EVERY WHALE wants a lyra in his party she can do heal+shields +hyperbody lets you facetank stuff and you can basicly do that at c0.
And you want that in youre party even if you play frost because then you can use a dmg passive like samirs and do 20% more damage.
i play lyra as main and i can do jo 8 with 65% phys reduction solo...she is insane(but to be fair my lyra is c6 and i have here set at 1 star)
Full out lyra is very powerful. Out DPSing Shiro But I think you want 5 stars for healer and out out for DPS. Plus her matrix set is really good as well> if you have all that definitely better than Shiro.
@@RedefineGamer well A1 is dps A3 is dps A5 yes you get the free deaths and A6 is DPS and Heal.
But if i m a dps in a grp i normaly dont need the free death if the heal can actualy heal^^
And lyra is the only heal atm that can give Hyperbody and shield to the party.
So yeah if we talk about dps youre right just go for shiro its not worth pulling a set+A6 lyra for a 15% dps upgrade thats 100% true.
But as heal and support she will not be replaced for a very very long time. And whales will even take you with them if you are C0.

is fenrir realy better for crow and samir? because nemesis is heal,samir damage, crow shield brake? or am i wrong.. i was away since max level was 55 so yea... now we go for fenrir, crow, samir?
It is more Nem is heal/dmg buff with high stars, Samir/crow is dmg but added benefit of giving crit rite due to certain stars. Samir is better in Aoe situation & Crow Single Target. So I would go Fen, Samir, buffer / Fen, Crow, buffer. Could go Claudia 1 star or get Nem for Pure Volt

I already got King in my first x10 and then crow in my x30 Pitty. My only doubt Is, up to what level should i upgrade an ssr weapon that i may not use in the future? Like crow for example.
Depends on how long until you get the characters for your main element team. Ideally you might want to level your standard team to level 100 or higher due to needing a DPS team for the content. Then start replacing for your ideal team. But if it will be a patch or 2 before you get access to your Ideal team I would max level the standard team since you will have time to get the weapon materials.

king doesn't shatter at all i played him since global release he's A6 and really sucks and useless now
the better options are shiro crow tsubasa and the two healers zero and coco
I could see that Shiro has a really good shatter, King good if you discharge. Mainly he is a buffer / shield breaker so I tend to like king

Some Discharge have i-frames but have to specifically say so in the skill list. I believe Lin & Lyra has a 1.5 sec i-frame. On default most discharges don't
