Holy shit Todd killed it!! Amazing!! I seen a interview with him the other day, then I listened to his solo album. This is super impressive!!
I find this a solid college try, good on these blokes. Of course not the same as the original, its not meant to be. Im stoked to see pro musicians belting this difficult song out with good measure.

Todd sounds fucking amazeballs. They defintiley chose the right guy to replace Geoff.
However, I dont like how they left the keyboards out of this song, the keyboard is what gave Rage For Order it's distinct sound compared to other metal albums at the time.
You can see how the singer struggles to sing this. Tate probably can’t sing like this anymore as well, but Queensrÿche of the 80s...just WOW!! Miss them!

Todd sure has a fine set of pipes, and he carries the role of the frontman very well. The rest of the band could show a little more enthusiasm though.
he using the singing he did in crimson glory, Queensryche for me died when Chris left, this is just a different band to me, nothing bad.
I don't know how anyone can get excited about a live band when they are hundreds of yards away but the Europeans love watching concerts this way so who am I to judge -- it's certainly not for me.

Wow, tough crowd. Todd nails this song. Geoff Tate is too clogged up with cigarettes, wine, and ego to be able to hit those notes anymore. You couldn’t ask for a better guy to fill the role. He’s a great person, multi-instrumentalist talent, and I’m sorry but he reaches for notes Tate wouldn’t even attempt and hits them, even when his age is working against him. No one will ever replace an original in any form of art, but we can appreciate the ones who do them justice. Have you heard Tate’s Queensryche?? Fucking terrible
Anyone complaining "its not queensryche without(the douchebag formerly known as) geoff tate" would have to be completely ignorant about the recent history of the band. It wasnt the original queensryche WITH geoff in the later years and he forced the group down a path of worse and worse new material. We cant turn back time to 86 so appreciate the improvement this is.
Another thing, give Scott hia due- his style is as much a signature of their sound as tates vocals... remember who leads the band when they play. Its not the singer or guitar player. Its the drummer.

Yes I agree. Actually, because of Tate deficiences Todd La Torre was the good choice to keep the band on track. But it sounds like a lure to me.
