I LOVE AS. This album to me is a beautiful twist between the best parts of Siege ubsessed and the shanty style songs bloody keep - bloody keep that I absolutely adore. I need more!!!!! Really fun album overall!
Never paid mind to this project (nor really anything from Abysmal Specter), I'd never cared to think "oh, it's strange like this on purpose!". Glad I went back on that decision, deceptively good work on this album. Might have to go back to earlier works by this guy
Damn. I guess it's finally time for me to get off the Curta'n Wall bus. This album is by far my least liked album not only by Curta'n Wall, but as an Abysmal Specter involved release. The Siege Tower cover especially broke my heart. It feels unfinished on this release because that guitar DOES NOT fill the track now. Why cut the hard driving drums on the second verse? That song used to make me feel like I was riding a horse into battle with a huge lance, but now I feel like im watching from the sideline as a leper. I always loved the corny Renaissance influence, so it took me a few listens to understand why I dislike this album so much. I didn't hate it on the last release, (its not my fav but oddly the Timeless Armor redo IS my fav CW track) so why am I all butthurt about it now? It's because the metal feels like an afterthought for so much of this album! It isnt raw or particularly fast, and the riffs themselves arent memorable. t's just a base the rest of the musica elements have totally overshadowed. It's more like Renaissance performers sought out to make a metal album, when it previously was nerdy metalheads making themed, genre-crossing blackmetal. No hate if you love this release, please enjoy it! I just personally feel crushed this is what has become of Curta'n Wall. Its just the usual fate of fans who arrive early...
You've put into words what I felt about the album. Siege Ubsessed! was decent, but personally, his self-titled album and Crocodile Moat!!!!!!! will never ever be topped. This album just feels lacking, but I haven't listened to it fully, maybe I'll change my mind, but then again, I never really finished Siege Ubsessed!.
The new album is really cool and all, i personally liked it, but i feel like he is doing too much with the remakes of fear of god and Siege Tower but otherwise, it's a great album. I still wish he could remake that Morning Star song

@@sheph42 с прошлого альбома завораживает токо пиктс волл (переделки старых треков не в счет) а ткт как минимум пайкмен юникорн хорн хил форт и мердер холл на репит зашли Единственное что меня не устраивает это то что походу на олд ника подзабили ради ультра хайповрго кертанволл, хотя там мб не от абисмал спектора зависит инактив
