There's a few songs i adore about Igorrr, but this album speaks to me on a personal level: i am finally home.

Many people look at Igorrr's work and simply laugh at the absurdity, and don't get me wrong, there are plenty of moments that make me laugh, but overall, I take this music very seriously. Beyond the aggression and silliness, I see a lot of beauty and emotion emanating from these pieces. Problème d'émotion may be one of the prettiest pieces of music I've heard this year. I have already listened to this album 50 times and it still entertains me to death every time.
Igorrr is everything I love about music, in one package. Technicality, complexity, aggression, humor, diversity, emotion, and pure originality.

I like it. Pulled me in from the first time I listened to the Nostril album. But yeah I do think it is demonstrating quite a bit of emotion in it without conveying it through words.
Granted i'm just using it as background music and pacing for my imagination while I wait to fall asleep.

@@TorbisHouse I would say it requires some earing education to fully appreciate and understand where it's going, i'm not praying to this band, there are some things i dislike, but it's mostly excellent when you actually manage to digest it (and i really understand that probably most people would find this type of music impossible to process, that it would even make them feel them phisically ill..)

I cannot believe how awesome Houmous is. This track has everything. Fierceness, happiness with accordion, 8-bit. I simply cannot believe it. How awesome that guy is?!

My problem with most metal nowadays is that its stale.. repetitive.. its the same formula over and over.. THIS stays fresh throughout every part of every song! Never boring! I love the originality above all. This is extreme, but such a breath of fresh authenticity. Genius!

But this beautifully aggressive music helps me to internally release these feelings that I don't like to express to others. But in a way that I don't feel angry but blissfully, happily free. Tomorrow goes on speakers and after dig in. New fan I guess...
Mixing Extreme Metal with Baroque, Waltz, Slavic folk and electronic music is pretty awesome. Heavy Metal bands should try new things and experiment with new styles. Very fresh and unique sound.
That Slavic (I'd say Balkan) folk got me hyped the most on this one. I mean, even if I believe to have heard a bit of Klezmer in "Vegetable Soup" already, "Houmous" is just incredibly ... incredible. :D

k'in krownhibb I was a teen/young adult when that occured during the 90's. Igorrr and other related push the boundaries even further than those 90's bands.

I think it's a good evolution. It shows that there is no sticking to one thing, just paving the way to make new stuff. Altogether I am listening this album maybe the fifth time and the first second the song started I started headbanging along.
If you told me in 2006 there was something more awesome than vsnares and that it would be released on metalblade my mind would have exploded.
It's less breakcore, still...he did a lot of awesome breakcore tracks, i'm not against him exploring this avenue and trying new things. Dude is a legend, would be a shame if he didn't imo.
I'm super proud he's gone this direction to "prove his chops" with live instrumentation to destroy the naysayers who dismissed his earlier work as silly electronic nonsense. No-one in their right mind could say this is anything but fucking beautiful artistry.

Low key the most incredible thing in this album, (and ergo contemporary music as a whole I think):
7:20, when the pure rhythmical chaos [7/8 | 11/8 | 7/8 | 7/8 | 7/8 | 11/8 | 7/8 | 7/8 | 11/8...] suddenly crystallizes into a traditional [6/8] waltz and you're just "wait, was it like that all along?" and you can just keep vibing until Patrick the hen goes 'kot kot' at 8:46 and the full-blown asymmetry is back in 8bits.
Dude that is *genius*! do these things forever please! do 7/8 and 9/8 into 8/8 next! Call it "Caviar d'aubergine"

When I listen to this, I don't think just "music". Art is so often a visual representation, it's much simpler to convey an expression or an idea with a picture. But Igorrr's work, time and time again, at least to me, is hearing an art piece. All the feelings, the extreme contrasts, the humor, it's like hearing the thoughts an artist sees, hears, feels. The millennial generation truly is missing out in idolizing pop/rap corporate garbage instead of bands like Igorrr who translate heart and soul into a musical masterpiece.
I agree, I create, and I visualise all the sounds Igorrr has curated musically.
People in the "millennial generation" are between 23 and 39 today.
I know this is an older comment, but there are plenty of musicians in just about every genre that can paint images and textures with their sound and lyrics. It detracts from a decent point when you feel the need to disqualify a genre's artistic merit.
i used to have to switch between black metal, breakcore and such but now i can listen to it all at once. it is like this was made for me, thank you igorrr!

I saw him live on a progressiv metal festival (Euroblast) and the crowd made moshpits and were full into it ^^

At the same festival was "the Algorithm" aswell (he doesnt make breakcore, but great, intense electronic music aswell ^^)
it was at a Death Metal Festival (Stonehenge) and well the crowd had mixed feelings, some loved it, some didn't know why he was there

Perfect album for when you're not quite sure what you're feeling or in the mood for, but you know you have some built up frustration and emotion to vent out. Such a satisfying and entertaining trip of absurdity.

This is the most raw, unfettered emotional slurry of genres, and I fucking love it. This is exactly the level of crazy that matches my internal struggle.
Hard to describe, but beautiful. It's more an experience in sound pictures than music. It's something to feel. Somewhere between System of a Down meets Maximum the Hormone, add a dash of Weird Al with a little opera, then add a touch of every other music genre shoved in a rapidly pulsing blender. Fast, chaotic, brutal and lovely while being totally precise and intentional. A fascinatingly detailed swirl of emotion. If you love sound in all it's forms and adventures in music, come here. Belt in for a seriously wild ride.
It's also the perfect music for those with short attentionspan... If you try to check out mentally you'll get sucked back in a fast hurry.

I went twice to an Igorrr concert and I must say, it is unique and amazing! By far the best concert experience ever! There's this moment where the lead screamer took by hand in front of the stage and we just started head banging to this incredible music. I could feel it go through my veins and at the moment felt as one with the music and the people. Unique. Amazing. Brutal. If you haven't gone to an Igorrr live yet, please do!
For me who is someone who could like a song/music from ANY genre/time period/language/etc, this eclectic music is a kind of album i've been waiting for.

A sinusoid is a small blood vessel that is a type of capillary similar to a fenestrated endothelium. Sinusoids are actually classified as a type of open pore capillary (or discontinuous) as opposed to continuous and fenestrated types. Fenestrated capillaries have diaphragms that cover the pores whereas open pore capillaries lack a diaphragm and just have an open pore. A sine wave or sinusoid is a mathematical curve that describes a smooth repetitive oscillation. A sine wave is a continuous wave. It is named after the function sine, of which it is the graph. It occurs often in pure and applied mathematics, as well as physics, engineering, signal processing and many other fields. Its most basic form as a function of time (t) is:
y(t) = A sin(2πft+φ) = A sin(ωt+φ)
where:
A = the amplitude, the peak deviation of the function from zero.
f = the ordinary frequency, the number of oscillations (cycles) that occur each second of time.
ω = 2πf, the angular frequency, the rate of change of the function argument in units of radians per second
φ = the phase, specifies (in radians) where in its cycle the oscillation is at t = 0.

Feels pretty insane that we're alive in the same time as IGORRR... Very few experimental acts create something so beautiful, complex yet extreme at the same time. Feels a bit petty that normies will live their entire lives without experiencing Avant-garde masterpieces like this lol..
Spaghetti Forever reminds of me, putting on Hilary Hahn playing Bach to get some inspiration and reference, having a mental break down cause I can't play like that, waking up from the mess my head had become to notice the music is still going on.
