  • ARE YOU AN #AVGEEK: Join us for a (kinda) quick flight from San Francisco (SFO) to Washington, D.C. (IAD), aboard United Airlines' 777-300ER in its BRAND NEW Polaris Business Class! In this trip report/flight review, we take a look at United Airlines' Polaris Business Class cabin, the meal service, and the lie-flat seat-not to mention some beautiful window views of our taxi, takeoff, approach, and landing!
After United Airlines retired its fleet of Boeing 747-400s, the Boeing 777-300ER became the largest aircraft in United's fleet. As of 2019, United has configured its 773 fleet with 310 seats, split across four different cabins: Polaris Business Class (60 seats), United Premium Plus (24 seats), United Economy Plus (62 seats), and United Economy (204 seats). Each seat, regardless of the cabin, on United's Boeing 777-300ER is configured with a personal entertainment screen (IFE or inflight entertainment).

WOW! That's an incredible seat! Wish we were in something like this for our flight from Orlando to London!
