- In Late 2019, United Airlines began a project to streamline it's entire fleet of 787 aircrafts with it's latest product offerings.
For the 787-8 "Baby Dreamliner", this included the addition of new single Polaris seats, also found on their newer 777-200ER aircrafts. It also included a small Premium Plus cabin, United's Premium Economy product.
On this transcontinental flight, these seats were sold as extra Economy Plus seats, giving us a unique opportunity to try them out for half the price!

Thanks for this video. When I booked my trans-Atlantic flight and looked up the plane, I looked at the 787-10, including video reviews to decide if the premium plus seats were worth it. On closer look, we’re on this 787-8, which does not have separate lavatories for the premium plus seats. I was looking forward to having less crowded bathrooms waits and bigger lavatories as well. But looks like premium plus shares the bathrooms with all of economy, which is a lot of people for just like 3 bathrooms. Are they at least bigger than most planes? I admit I was a little disappointed to find out, lol.
Excellent video. You should have 300k subs minimum!
Great video
Nobody shlepps out to Newark Airport.
Especially since there are TWO great New York City airports!
LaGuardia and JFK !!
BTW, I believe you landed on runway 19L. Not 28L
Is there a footrest on this seat?
Yes
@@summerrain5132 it would have been nice to see that and comments about if it adds to comfort.
Just wanted to see how far the plus seats recline. Didn’t need to see the hot tea she ordered.
