- Dario Franchitti MBE looks back at his 2022 win in the Duckhams LM at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca... and looks ahead to 2023's event on 18/19 August.
A race car made in 1972, the Duckhams LM was funded and driven by Alain de Cadenet and Chris Craft at the legendary Le Mans track Circuit de la Sarthe. In August 2022, Gordon Murray Design took the recreated Duckhams LM to the US to race.

The team at GMA seem very human on the videos. This is pleasant to see!
I would really like to see some (more) really geeky engineering things about the new cars.
A formula of DF asking and an engineer replying would be good.
Clearly a moving and magical moment for all involved...including us watching this.

Circa March 1993, I remember taking you around Donnington park in a Vauxhall Astra gte. You told me to "Brake" at the entry to each and every turn marked by cones but I ignored your commands. If I remember right I got a 1.42 lap 😆

What happened to the original?
It still very much exists, GM did not want to pay the asking price, so had this one built instead.
I serious thought Gordan has passed away had to google it to see the news, v somber start to the vid!
