    The metatarsal wiggle has basically just saved my life, it hurt to get my fingers in between at first and now they're much more accommodating - I found your self massages and as a busy student and entrepreneur this is exactly what I need to integrate into my daily routines. I can spare 30 minutes of mindless scrolling on social media to restore and prepare by body everyday. This is now a part of my regular nighttime ritual.

    The presenter shows us how her hands in their own language praise and appreciate her feet. My feet have supported me all my life and I largely ignored them. I regret treating them as an appendage to do my bidding. The Video has reminded me we should reverence our feet, a precious gift that for most goes unheeded daily.

    I finally decided to see a physical therapist about my big toe that has been hurting at least since high school soccer about 17 years ago. What has followed is a wonderful journey to appreciating my feet and learning more about them.

    It’s always good to work on and massage your feet since they’re the most neglected part of the body. We should also try to go barefoot more often. Do you get enough barefoot time?

      Hi going barefoot bad for my arch pain? I'm having some metatarsal and arch pain in my left foot. I'm messaging and stretching it's taking time though. I also wear orthotics 😮

    super helpful, ive had inflammation in the inner sole of my foot for the longest time, ive just used whatever ive figured works to massage it from time to time to bring down the burning sensation, the kneading with your thumbs and knuckles works excellently

    Ty for having this I been using the gift of message since I was a child. I noticed when the adults around me were arguing or upset or in pain I would rub their feet. I saw how they would calm down and or fall asleep. At Eight yrs old I noticed I had a gift and I would be called to my uncle to walk on his back. He opened the door to my healing other journey. Everything you are teaching came to me naturally and it's been waisting away. Looking for a video for my daughter to calm her anxiety I remembered RUclips has tons of amazing certified gifted people like you. I thank you bunches and adure your calm and full lessons.     Thank you so much for this amazing video. It helped relieve stress from my feet and helped me relax. I have very painful bunions and all my metatarsal areas were so sore/painful so I couldn't wiggle them more, but I think the wiggles did help.       Thanks for your kind note :) You massage toward the heart to help your circulation. That is the direction that your veins and lymphatic vessels flow to empty out into the heart. So, we are working with your own physiology.

    Absolutely wonderful! I've suffered patella tendonitis of both knees since 2009 & tore my right ACL in 2017.. not been near the same since said issues but this helps in many little ways! Thank you for sharing, best wishes beautiful, you're a goddess!

    Ann, Hi, thanks so much for thinking to send this to me, hope you too are doing wonderful, staying healthy, and getting someone to work on you as well. This is a great routine, I also use the middle knuckles (proximal interphelangeal joint) and finger tips to dig into the spaces between the toes on the dorsal side of the foot. Hope to see more routines!

    I do acupressure points to heal any pain. When i massaged my foot it's entirely a different experience and took a deep breath and i have noticed my nails have started to glow which I have never seen on my nails.

    These are great, thanks. I work with my hands in construction. Recently the ball joint of my left thumb slipped down. They say I have no cartilage there. Should I press into the pain or avoid it when stretching. Or is there a specific move I can do to strengthen the joint?

      I wouldn't press into the pain. I would only stretch up to right before you feel increased pain. Increased awareness and sensation is good, but find that sweet spot before the pain increases

    Are you able to interdigitize your toes together without using your hands? Would you consider performing this movement in Badhakonasana, as an instructional How-to tutorial?

      @@AnnSwansonWellness I have osteo arthritis and also a Bunyan on the right foot I do your foot massage at least twice a day and it gives me a lot of relief and let’s me keep going with my housework longer. Maybe since there some weird weather changes here in Perth australia where a few days ago it was bitter cold and now 4 days later it’s so hot 🥵… my circulation seems out of whack and the foot swelling is really annoying.
      This massage plus your mindfulness meditation with thanking the feet is absoletulety awesome 👏

    Wonderful, if only l could do these exercises. I cannot as l have corns on the soles of both feet. Bunions & venous insufficieny snd blood pooling in both feet & pre diabetic. Yeah perhaps not.😢
