If you can't see how utterly amazing this band is....then that says a lot more about YOU than it does about anything else. You either GET IT or you don't. If you get it....then great. I always thought Omar was just a great songwriter and thats it, but over the years hes become a pretty fuckin legit guitar player too. Also Cedric is finally focusing more on his vocal performance, and it sounds awesome
The whole-band decrescendo starting around 11:55 and the ensuing dynamics on drums is fucking amazing. Then Juan Sliding up and down and the way deantoni and juan morph around that beat is so fucking badass. And it was fucking effortless.
@DandelionVolta I actually found a way to reverse it (not on youtube) and it does sound like he is saying actual words. At one particular point you can clearly hear "... ... Will you welcome home, I/a hearse/hurt-some... ..." and the rest is pretty vague and one can hear whatever one imagines.
just stopping back in, but I gotta say the second half of this jam really reminds me of some great gig in the sky shit...they really channeled Floyd in this
@Gorthogano I just saw them in Sydney last Wednesday, they played all new material off an album coming out early next year, and then 3 old songs at the end. This was one of the new songs. it was a fucking amazing show, the only disappointment being Cedric's new hair cut.
Would ANY of the stuff they been bringing out for the last 2 years be RELEASED on a cd?? Im tired of downloading hundreds of live footage off youtube cos they are so freaken amazing!!
@FlyingFuckstorm I was hoping that Broken English would find its way into the mix though, the original 20 minutes was awesome! The mixing of the single was eh, I really liked the intensity of the live show, but it wasn't as effective. Hopefully this jam got a new name on the album though, or the jam fits in like the jam in Cygnus Vismund Cygnus
They could very easily go wireless, but it's so fun that they're still "old school" (besides, Ced's mike would end up in the audience...lol...) After all these years, I'm surprised he hasn't hung himself, accidentally. They do look amazing, don't they?

Almost 80% of what Omar's playing are slightly changed riffs from frances the mute. Disapointe. Otherwise awesome.
