They were not a Frat. They're house was just near the fraternity and sorority housing. They were the outcast, geeks, nerds, or dorks as the movie calls them. The story is about the same but instead of a makeover, Sydney (Amanda) shows the guys that what makes them weird or different is something to be proud of not ashamed. And it's not just the Dorks. She organized the WHOLE campus. Everyone who felt invisible, underappreciated, or forgotten. Great movie, Great message! Hope this info is helpful! By the way, Thanks for the laughs, you wonderful human being you. See you next time. Peace and Love✌️💗

I love this movie, I was about 15 when it came out so the humor hits well with me, I still love the clothes and makeup, that soundtrack just slaps, too. 1. Anna Faris is a comedic genius, and that deep voice name memorising bit KILLED me the first time I watched it, and again watching this video.
    2. It's just such a bizarre movie that it feels a little bit like a fever dream? I'd forgotten about it until I saw this video on my side bar.
    3. This movie kiiiiiinda gives off the vibe of Playboy"propaganda" given how much they romanticise the lifestyle when quite a few former Playboy girls have spoken out about their negative experiences with the company. And the fact that they actually got Hugh Hefner in this film certainly explains why this was the case - I doubt he'd have agreed to make an appearance if they had made any critique whatsoever about the Playboy franchise and the culture of one man commodifying women for profit and personal gain. I feel like this movie would have been a bit more palatable - especially for women viewers - if it had cast a bit more of a critical lens on Playboy (but without necessarily demonising it or the women who participate).
NGL I feel like this movie would be pretty unwatchable if it weren't for Anna Faris. Pretty much every funny part in the film is based around her line delivery. If anyone else had been cast in the lead, I think the movie would have been pretty painful lol.

I agree. They could've given her a career as a Sports Illustrated model, a stripper, or even a lingerie model. Maybe her agency/clients drop her because of her age or something. They didn't need to give nasty Hugh more clout (and the joke about being roofied hit too close to home there.)

I feel like a lot of stuff from the mid to late 2000s gets utterly ignored now unless it was heavily meme-ed, which considering those were my high school years I am always very confused by it 😂

Watched the Scary Movie franchise as a kid a loooot and also saw this twice on tv and loved Anna being the main character.
Was also cool being introduced to Kat and Emma through this movie.

@@taoist32 isn't curious how the one that looks like him is the "good son" (golden child) and the one that doesn't is the black sheep of the family?

@@carlalussini Oh yeah. I can totally see it. The other son seems to be the black sheep of the family. I feel that way sometimes, although not to the extent that guy does.
