  • We went on a MIND-BLOWING cross-country adventure from New York to Washington and back in our 30' RV. Before this trip, we'd only spent 4 nights in a RV. We had a blast exploring bike trails and the outdoors. We traveled 7000 miles, rode 14 bike trails, visited National Parks, National Monuments, and other incredible places. Come along and see what we were up to. This video covers the first 20 days of our journey.

      HI Pedro, As always, thanks for watching, and for your kind comments. I’ll have part II up before the New Year and then I’ll start publishing the full trail rides in early 2024. I know you’re curious to see what we do with our Route of the Hiawatha Ride, and I’m curious to hear how you think it stacks up against the others that are out there!! Have a wonderful holiday season.

      @@Adventuresonebikes Looking forward to watching your video and opinion on the Hiawatha trail, there's been negative and positive reviews, I suppose it depends how crowded or not it is at the time of your visit.

      Thanks for watching and letting us know you enjoyed it. We will publish the bike videos with more on camping near the bike trails over the next several months. We hope to “see” you on our next adventure - Part II will be out in the next 10 days. I don’t know what Sonus Faber speakers are, but glad you enjoyed the music.

      Wow, thanks! We’ve just started RVing so we’ll see what happens next. Not sure where you are from to know if we will be in a brewery near you anytime soon. If you want to privately communicate my email is adv.on.ebikes@gmail.com.

      You are so kind. We believe the views are connected to the time of year we released it. Not many people are watching these types of videos in late December-early January.

      Thank you David. We make these videos to help people understand what to expect on a trail, or get ideas from. We're happy to hear you find them of value. I'm thinking I'll launch Part 2 on New Year's Day. Thanks for watching.

    We watched both parts in this series! Loved it. We RV and just got e-bikes. We are going to Michigan’s UP and then the Black Hills this summer. Love seeing where you stayed and biked!

      Thanks for taking the time to comment. It's great to hear that you found value in what we are doing. Sounds like a great trip to Michigan and the Black Hills. I was just laying out a trip to the Grand Rapids area yesterday -- not sure if it will happen this year because we are going to South Carolina when the snow breaks, Maine, and across the southern part of the country in the fall. Can't wait to get back out!!! We hope to "see" you again on another adventure.

    Great video, we just discovered your channel. We also RV with our ebikes and try to plan our routes to take advantage of trails. We just went from a 28’ trailer to a Winnebago Navion class C/B+. The Blackhills is an annual trip for us, love it out there and the Mickelson Trail is fantastic. We have stayed a Rafter J Bar, it is a top notch campground. We will continue to follow your adventures and maybe cross paths sometime. We live in Iowa close to the High Tressel trail. Wow, we did the trip to Tetons and Yellowstone last summer, stayed in Gros Venture campground and rode bike trail up to Jenny Lake, beautiful, even had a black bear cross the trail right in front of us

      Hi -- Thanks for supporting our channel!! We are heading back to the Rafter J Bar later this year, and stopping in the Tetons on our way back. Sounds like you've had a great time in both places. We are also going to ride the Raccoon River Valley Trail before we get home -- so we'll be nearby.

    I’m kind of hitting these comments as I go through the video. But there is a road on the far side of Mount Rushmore across the valley probably 20 miles away. The highway does a spiral and goes through a tunnel and as you go through the tunnel hit frames. Perfectly Mount Rushmore. One of the greatest engineering feat I have seen.

    • @Adventuresonebikes
      @Adventuresonebikes  Год назад

      I think we were on that road - but not fast enough to get good video. I think it’s the road from Keystone. Mount Rushmore was great.

    We weren't really sure that traveling in an RV was for us. This trip was life-changing! We discovered that traveling by RV was the ONLY WAY to spend time seeing the US and continuing our mission to ride spectacular bike trails. We can't wait for April and our next journey to South Carolina.

    Do you have the content or plan on making each trail you rode a separate video?

      Yes. Currently four of the trails from this trip are posted, and the rest will be coming out every other week for the next several weeks. Thanks for watching.

    I thought I saw that you had put together an itinerary book. How did you do that? I use Roadtrippers, is that what you used for the spiral bound book? We really enjoy your videos!

    • @Adventuresonebikes
      @Adventuresonebikes  8 месяцев назад

      I do rely on Roadtrippers extensively for planning how long between stops. Then I put all the information on where we are booked to stay, how much we owe the campground, places that look interesting to eat, things to do, description of the bike trails we want to ride for each stop into a Word document. That way I can include links to places to buy tickets or websites with additional info in case I want to refer back to it while on the road. Some may think this is a lot of work, but when I'm researching for a trip and I find something interesting, if I don't write it down somewhere I can't find it again!! I turn it into a pdf and print it right before we go.
