Very useful tip.....can you please tell me whether we can use the same technique for whitening the electric switch board? Since we cannot remove it from the wall to keep it under direct sunlight, can we just apply hydrogen peroxide on the whole board including switches, wrap it with plastic sheet and then remove the cream after two hours? My question may look silly to you but the electrician here is not ready to do these jobs. I am 70 years old.

Incandescent and fluorescent bulbs (not LED bulb) jo generally Indian home main lage hote hai wo bi UV radiation emit karte hain but low rate main. Isliye aap AC ko bina uthare bhi ye process kar sakte hai but bulb aapko jala ke rakhna padega minimum 10hrs ke liye... Accordingly repeat process if required...
