Omg reading all these comments and knowing what happened. Toms car is fine. No major fault on anyone's part. This was on the second pull. Tire spread out too wide rubbing the side wall against the suspension. Accidents happen but good new is everyone's okay and this car is about to hurt feelings in Mexico. Good day everyone
12 years ago I was in my Sheriffs office Patrol Crown Vic. I was running hot, over 110-120 mph on a July Texas HOT SUMMER DAY for about 15 miles. I felt a vibration coming from the rear, told my rider to hang on cause we are about to take a wild RIDE. The LR Goodyear Eagle RS-A come unwound. Glad it was on the rear and not the front. I was able to control the deceleration and pull off the road. Dang that tire and wheel were hot. Had to sacrifice my woobie to the heat, shredded steel and rubber. A passing citizen also helped change the tire. I still say thank you today. My rider was my Father, who was authorized to ride as Sheriff Academy Citizen Alumni graduate.
Paul Condie ive seen a video of a corvette the same thing happened to it and the tire messed up all the cars body just because it exploded while he was racing
Good thing it was on the dyno woulda made a hell of a nasty situation on the street. I had a rear slick on my 85 monte Carlo at about 75 and almost wrote it off completely destroyed my rim and rear bumper body kit I had on it. Was definitely a handful keeping the wheels right side down. Keep up the crazy mods and tunes hopping to one of these days come down and get you to tune my new vette when I got it
MT ET Street S/S Drag Radials aren't supposed to be run on the dyno! The MT website even says this. www.mickeythompsontires.com/drag-tires/et-street-s-s
Flashback to the Mustang guy on that outdoor portable dyno where the tire ripped the car apart. At the end he's like "Mustang for sale". That's the carnage I thought was going to happen but just a blowout and it stayed together is nice to see. A real radial would have killed that car.
The guy that owns the Camaro was actually lucky I've seen a car on a Dyno lose the driver's rear tire and it took out the whole rear quarter panel thank God you guys weren't hurt or the car was seriously damaged and I really believe the guy could not have blamed you guys because his rear suspension setup was too close to the tire it would have blew sooner or later keep up the video Andrew I am watching and please stop Fran from running his mouth
even know this was a serious situation and luckily nobody and no parts were damaged, I really found the tire blowing out funny for some reason, that massive pop made me shit myself
Everyone is saying its just the tire pressure. Yea that plats a role but they had it tied down so much that the tirecouldbt grow and had to conform to the rollers.
OMG! Even I saw the tire deformation on the video. Was no one monitoring. Fun!? Anyone could have been seriously hurt @ the very least. Be careful guys.
so is there anything that you could of done far as precheck to make sure this doesnt happen again and the customers car doesnt get damaged or ur dyno doesnt get damaged or anyone hurt most important i know things happen better it happens in a controled enviorment not saying it ur fault , did u do a precheck of the car and its setup before putting it on dyno or did u just drive it up there and hook it up
There is a reason why the dodge demon is limited to 168 with drag radials, drag radials arent made for top speed stability. On the dyno that was probably around 170 i bet
Tommy Baker thinking the same damn thing, why didn’t they say leave the car there they will repair the inner fender well and replace the tire and call it a day
The reason you can get away with that on the street or track is because the tire has room to grow and get taller with rotational force. On the dyno, its held down and the tire has nowhere to go but sideways. Anyone who's dyno tested a car knows to air up the tires a bit when making pulls. Especially on a car expected to make some decent power. Either swap to regular street tires or air them up right for the dyno pulls. This isn't "something that happens" this is a huge oversight by the dyno operator and could have resulted in someone's death. Glad nobody was hurt and the car is fine. Ironically, the tight straps that contributed to the blowout, also saved the car and kept everything in place. Also, driving the thing off the lift and onto the trailer on a flat? Must like buying rims. Looks like hack job amateur hour over there.
I was under the assumption this car came with 400+ dollar a piece goodyear tires, are these 225 $ mickey thompsons really a good choice for this car? Seems to me that could have happened on the street, that could get ugly at 170mph
Driving in the street wouldn't have done the same thing because he would have hazed the tires not been strapped down forcing pressure on the side walls.
NOTE to peoples. NEVER underinflate jur tires if you're going to be doing dyno pulls. Might be good to be centered versus AT LEAST an inch off center. -Your friend, Dr. Stupid. P.S> might be a good reminder as to why you do a circle on your car EVEN if you have car pressure gauges. Takes a second. Could save your life.

yikes, glad no one was hurt. I've seen some serious tire ripple on the dyno while videoing but never seen one let go.
2:10
Thomas The Train thanks my dude
*hears Max’s voice* immediately leaves the video. Keep blowing shit up guys!
The Front License plate just kills me! Cool video! Atleast that happened on the DYNO & not at 145mph on the track
George Mitchell sadly in Maryland you have to have two plates
Yeah... Then it has to be towed away lol.

RK Harm24 great tires didn’t think that would happen
RK Harm24 then again they are all season
Just discovered this..GREAT CHANNEL MAN!
lucky it didn't do more damage! A good eye opener just to check air pressure and be more aware! great video there max!
Paul Condie ive seen a video of a corvette the same thing happened to it and the tire messed up all the cars body just because it exploded while he was racing

The flames! THE FLAMES DUDE
So Lucky Not Explode Those Fender Like Another Video Of Mustang/Camaro On Another Channel.
Good thing it was on the dyno woulda made a hell of a nasty situation on the street. Was waiting to see it buckle the quarter panel. Lucky dude
Damn man, you definitely Dodged a bulit. Thankfully the tire didn't shred that quarter panel.
Great video, glad everyone is ok !
MT ET Street S/S Drag Radials aren't supposed to be run on the dyno! The MT website even says this. www.mickeythompsontires.com/drag-tires/et-street-s-s
man he must be happy that his car didnt got ruind
Waaaaaay too low of pressure to be on the dyno...
Dashcam Channel agreed
Tire was super wrinkled before he even got on it
I agree! Drag radials shouldn't wrinkle like that!
what a big bang, glad nobody got hurt
You must put a Bead lock rims on on that because the drag slicks expanded when you reach a higher speed
What about those flames lol i know the tire is the star of the video but those flames were epic.
bingster 223 I know why isn’t anyone talking about those flames 🔥
bingster 223 nah
The flames bro omg...
I didn't realize that
Tire blows car still flames

Seems like things tend to blow up at CSP... *the freedom Rockets engine as well* lol
DREW FOR YOU 😂😁😂😁
Dr Dre finally someone with some humor in them 🤣🤣😝
Wow - was a radial with such low pressure that the sidewalls were like full on slicks, no surprise here.
We have a dual roller dyno and we usually air radials and slicks up to 25 at least
Like watching a high school auto tech class.
Back to watching RPM.
glad everyone is safe and damage is minimal
Whoever was filming should've seen the tire was not balanced
CLEARLY a rub issue and not a balance issue.
Kyler Adams what's the title of that video?
R2wddsxddddddddddea😢😟😠😀ealBigR
RealBigR h_!$!!3!_("
It's likely because of a low air pressure. Low pressure on tire will make much more contact area on tire to surface, and it'll cause more friction.
Nice intro dude!
I saw THEESE AMAZING FLAMES COMING FROM EXHAUST
High school shop class 😂👍🏻
That reaction time was on point!!
Best case blow out wow! Didn't destroy bumper or quarter.
I love camaro there my favorite.
TRC_Mistro Akillhes & Gaurdian Vortex when there could be mclarens ferraris Lamborghinis paganis you decide camaros wow👎👎👎🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😤😤😤
It’s only a Camaro, no loss.
even know this was a serious situation and luckily nobody and no parts were damaged, I really found the tire blowing out funny for some reason, that massive pop made me shit myself
Those flames thoooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥

4:37 in Mexico 🤫
😂 😂😂😂
These guys check tire pressure like they do nitrous jets..........after the shit blows up lol
SouthJerseySound oooooo daammnn. Sick burn brah
The people who recording the video got some steel ball standing near the tyre
Everyone is saying its just the tire pressure. Yea that plats a role but they had it tied down so much that the tirecouldbt grow and had to conform to the rollers.
Nice ride
More bang for your buck here at csp. Lol Low tire pressure on slicks on a dyno. Bad idea...
OMG! Even I saw the tire deformation on the video. Was no one monitoring. Fun!? Anyone could have been seriously hurt @ the very least. Be careful guys.
Bye Bye Ear drums on the opening intro.............OUCH!
so is there anything that you could of done far as precheck to make sure this doesnt happen again and the customers car doesnt get damaged or ur dyno doesnt get damaged or anyone hurt most important i know things happen better it happens in a controled enviorment not saying it ur fault , did u do a precheck of the car and its setup before putting it on dyno or did u just drive it up there and hook it up
There is a reason why the dodge demon is limited to 168 with drag radials, drag radials arent made for top speed stability. On the dyno that was probably around 170 i bet
Fun fact: most drag cars have their tires screwed to the rim so the rims dont spin inside the wheel
Were those drag radials or bias ply sidewall tires...??
Better on the dyno than the track
This is yalls second time blowing up a car on the Dyno
Tires blow all the fucking time.....
Mrrrr camaro 😍😍😍💙💙💙💙💙
Fire, Fire!!
Blows tire on dyno, loads the car on trailer and basically says "Shit happens". Great advertisement guys.
Tommy Baker thinking the same damn thing, why didn’t they say leave the car there they will repair the inner fender well and replace the tire and call it a day

Wow! So strange? Glad no one was hurt. Except maybe Steve Hart's Wallet? Ouch
Tim Torp because that control arm unfortunately
Where did he buy that tire the 2nd hand store
what mufflers was that camaro running?
Probably cause by under pressure or unbalanced tired
Driving in the street wouldn't have done the same thing because he would have hazed the tires not been strapped down forcing pressure on the side walls.
R those racing slick?
Should've put Ali-A intro when the tire exploded
Let's see, you put a Drag Slick with no sidewall on a Dyno and strapped it down, it was a given...
I'm happy it didn't take the quarter panel with it..
That's what I call a WRINKLE WALL!
What rims are these?
"No camaros were hurt in the making"
Sike.!
Standing wave
Free lower suspension
Imagine if you are in the stret aceleranting and the tire explode😨😱
Y'all remember that one scene from Cars?
Shouldn’t the run have been stopped right when the tire started conforming to the platform? It didn’t look right at all
Wow, I noticed the rear mount twin turbos. Looks great, is that on a v6?
better here than at the track, that could have been a lot more expensive.
No offense and I know you’re a professional but you never keep the same psi that you run on the street or track and put it on the dyno
Porque se poncho el neumatico?
Are you guys out of Maryland
I know why the tire exploded its because of the flame from the exhaust and the heat kinda made it soft
the whole "in mexico" thing?? ohh man, I think its over.
Good thing it did it on the dyno instead of the street. Lesson learned, the cheap way.
15 psi on a Dyno?! Ouch.. I run 38/40 in my 20s but slicks on a Dyno we all know that’s a NO NO..
NOTE to peoples. NEVER underinflate jur tires if you're going to be doing dyno pulls. Might be good to be centered versus AT LEAST an inch off center.

😎🇺🇸 Dam that was exciting 👍 What else you got ☠️ ✌🏻
1.8 mil views wow
Cool
Crazy
had the same happen to my drag car, low air cause it to happen
was told 25 pis for the dino
papashake shake Psi* Dyno*
In the beggining I tought I went colorblind
Well now ig why the dyno doesnt allow slicks
Um par de penel do camaro aqui no Brasil custa um valor de um carro aí nos Estados unidos
WOW
2:52 Main part ,🏁💯
And this is why u don’t use a drag radial on a dyno
Could tell it was going to go
Lmao ...Kevin Hart😂😂
2:16 welcome
Was the wheel damaged
Isaiah Bahe no it was not it just sat down on the tire so no metal contact
I would love to buy o of thesee
Oh my god
