Why would Game Freak, a part-owner of the Pokemon franchise, give up its right to develop their games? What they should do is ask for more development time to polish their games. But we all know that's difficult because Pokemon is also owned by Nintendo and Creatures, who both want Pokemon games to be released faster so they can sell more consoles, trading cards, and toys.
we need a giant meteor to hit the plant and kill all 1000 pokemon, skip ahead a couple hundred years with new pokemon and new everything. No survivors.
Not to discredit the work of these guys but these are not full games and they're under no pressure to complete these games at all, let alone within an impossibly small time frame...
company's give the least so they always have more in reserve for the next time. products arent made to be great they are made to be sold. you need to keep innovating or have a product that expires.. an example could be a product being made cheaper, costing more and not lasting as long.
The first one looks visually amazing with scenery and lighting but the second one hits hard with that nostalgic art and 3d environment, I'd definitely fork over the money for a remake in that style
You have no idea how visual appealing the second one is . If Nintendo did something anything close like this it would be amazing... But Nintendo would never , instead they are fine with empty world that look plain and unfinished
In the 90s they _did_ look like blocky baby toys. Literally. Look at that one artwork of Red and Blue where Blue's crossing his arms and Red isn't putting up with it. Or look at literally any other gen 1 Ken Sugimori artwork with Red in it; Red looks so incredibly blocky that it's not even funny. Even the 3D fangame style recreation of it makes Red's baseball cap look cuboid to accommodate for the blockiness of Ken Sugimori's early artstyle.
Holy magicrap the second one looks awesome! but no way in seven hells Nintendo would ever allow a fan to complete that or even Nintendo themselves to ever do stuff like that. Bummer.
SquareEnix X Gamefreak needs a collab. I’m not sure if they be willing to do that though. But isn’t the dungeon games made by capcom or Bandai or something.
That second art style is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to see that as a completed game someday.
Kinda reminds me of the N64 Character in the Opening of the game, highkey miss this art style
It reminds me of how the did the Pokemon mystery dungeon dx witch o loved.
Same
2nd style would be a amazing n64 game
Too bad Nintendo’s lawyers are quicker than that
The 3-D models with the Watercolored painterly texturing is absolutely stunning. It’s like my childhood imaginings brought to form, I’m stunned.
Agreed it's perfectly done 👍
You never imagined this nerd

The second style. Ken Sugimori’s original watercolor art is still some of my favorite art designs from any video game, period.

3d cellshaded Pokémon game that looks like the manga would be godly
@@lightingmcqueen522 fax tho
It looks nearly identical to octopath traveler
90s one would hurt my eyes
@@ACDetailing00Ack ^^'
Totally the 90’s style, it has a ton of personality!
This is why Pokemon needs to be given to new devs to play with.
Nah pokemom need to be given time
Gamefreak can do plenty well with it if they werent forced to make one games some times more in a year

@@RyonMugenGeez, how about just explore another universe?
They did, and we ended up with BDSP.
3D models in the 90s art style. WE NEED IT
The second one looks so much better, would definitely choose that one over the first
Both styles were amazing, but the 3d models textured in the colored old school art style looked incredible.
Fans doing better work than the most rich game company...
Because companies don't care about their fans unless you are Sega.
Car kes fans font un travail qui vient du cœur ❤️ de la nostalgie. Alors que les entreprises pour l'argent 🤑💰

Why cant Gamefreak do this instead of giving the barest effort.
Because everyone buys every mainline Pokémon game. You have to vote with your wallet if you want quality improvements.
company's give the least so they always have more in reserve for the next time. products arent made to be great they are made to be sold. you need to keep innovating or have a product that expires.. an example could be a product being made cheaper, costing more and not lasting as long.
Blame competitive players too since they "have to buy every mainline game to compete".
Because they dont have to. People will still buy whatever low effort slop they put out because they have zero self control 😂
Because capitalism incentivizes the complete opposite… as long as consumers consume.
The first one looks visually amazing with scenery and lighting but the second one hits hard with that nostalgic art and 3d environment, I'd definitely fork over the money for a remake in that style
That 3D 90s style is insane!
That second art style looks excellent, would love a game like that!
90's art style for sure!
Actually, both. The first one sort of captures nostalgia while the other one captures the manga. It would be fun to play both
Both are better than the present official games
@@firered2242 that's a low bar to clear these days, you can walk over it
The 2nd style its like the strategy guide come to life!
So cool!
Absolutely love the first style styled in Ocotpath graphics. But, the watercolor with Ken's art is hittin it for me.
Those both look excellent
Manga style looks dope!
Personally like the 90’s art style, think hits better since it’s the OG game
First one is just OCTOPATH traveler, the second one is INCREDIBLE. We need that 90s watercolor style Pokémon game.
The second one is cool af, id play it all over again like that!!!
Let me get the second one please, PRONTO lol
Either of these are what my dream Black and White remakes would look like
Imagine seeing Castelia City in this art style
That 2nd one by far. Especially if they redid all the Pokémon into that style.
You have no idea how visual appealing the second one is . If Nintendo did something anything close like this it would be amazing... But Nintendo would never , instead they are fine with empty world that look plain and unfinished
The pokémon Manga styled would be absolutely beautiful
The second art style really is nostalgic and beautiful ❤
The 2nd one is just perfect. Exactly what the devs imagined.
Both of these demos show more effort and quality than any of Game Freak's official releases.
that second style looks amazing, reminds me of Okami
That pikachu at the end eating a berry is so cute
These look better than the real games
That watercolor style looks excellent and very unique. I'd love to see an official game in the style.
90s art style, 3d models are alot easier to follow where I'm at, plus reminds me of Mystery Dungeon remake style on Switch
I’d be happy with either. Both are visual upgrades to what we have now
Woww love both styles! Pokemon need to do something like this!
The ladder looks far better, thr 90s esthetics reminds me that we all started mad long ago and are still catching pokemon today
They both are really nice looking! I’d be happy with either. How about both?
the second one has personality and is actually unique
The second is my first choice but the pixel art is amazing too and would love a combo release of two different games with those two art styles.
Octopath traveler also has the first art style.
The 2nd one with the OG art style would be soo cool as a remake!
2! Hands down. We NEED this.
2nd one. It's amazing even disregarding nostalgia.
The second art style
Second art style! Early Pokemon Designs from the 90s in 3D automatically wins my heart gold!
The 90s art style is so much better than the new one, they look like blocky baby toys now whereas in the 90s they looked really cool.
