Perhaps surprisingly, green space makes up nearly half of London. Vast parks, patches of wood and rows and rows of private gardens. Not to mention the 36,000 allotments still spread across the city. Publican Mr Chris Johnson and architect Mr Sam Gledhill rent neighbouring plots at East Hale, in Tottenham, north London, which is where MR PORTER joined them for a day on the allotments in one of our Go Out adventures.
