The 360 has a newer image processor and offers 20.2 MP resolution versus the 12.1 MP of the 330. Other than that, there aren't a lot of differences. The better processor should give you smoother pictures in low light and speed up camera operations. Speaking ONLY about image quality, there probably isn't a huge difference, but the big increase in resolution is very nice to have when you're cropping photos.

Got this camera for vacation photos and half thru trip got lens error for some unknown reason. Did not mis treat camera at all. Tried all the you tube fixes to no avail. Extremely frustrating. Was still able to return luckily as it was still bran new. Won't be getting this again
Pull the tab on the bottom right side of the camera, which reveals a two-chambered cavity, one indicated by an orange-colored button in which the memory card goes and the other in the battery compartment. Pay attention to where the arrow shows the proper placement of the battery goes for charging.
The biggest difference is the sensor. The 360 uses a backside illuminated CMOS, while the 190 uses an older CCD sensor. So the 360 is more sensitive and better in low light. Other advantages of the 360 are bigger LCD screen (3" vs 2.7"), faster continuous shooting (2.5 fps vs 0.8 fps), longer zoom (12x vs 10x) and video resolution (1080 HD vs 720 HD). If you purchased it recently, I would report this issue to Canon, it may be a defect.

The video quality is fine, but for vlogging you would probably want a camera with a screen that faces you, and possibly a microphone input port.
