I never thought I'd be identifying myself so much with her songs at the age of 7, but something struck me because she remains today as one of my greatest idols!

Well Alanis. This is the first interview with you that I've seen. You had my "full attention" all the way through. You touched on a lot of topics I've often found myself tortuously questioning over the years. All I can say is "thank you". It's not by any means an epiphany but certainly a nudge in the right direction for me spiritually, ...a wholesome new way to view life, humanity and how I will persevere on my journey.
The first CD I ever bought. Thank you Alanis ❤️ And I'd lay on my floor in the dark right in front of my loud JVC floor model stereo system and belted the lyrics right along with her. That was living after everyone went to sleep in my neighborhood.

He mentioned “Incomplete” the last song from Flavors of Entanglement and I’m sure none of the usual interviewers or music journalists even know that song exists and what is about. They were a treat to listen to. Alanis’ sense of humor shone through the whole interview which is difficult when the interviewer doesn’t know how to respond to her energy.
JLP is more her debut global album. Alanis' first album was her self-titled dance pop but was only released in Canada. But this was actually a good album.
Just imagine, her original record label dump her because she wanted to write her own songs, then she got Jagged little pills out, they're still crying to this day.
She could have been anything - a heart surgeon, an astronaut, an architect. We are so lucky that she chose music (or that music chose her).
