All these deep passes to Watkins, Robinson, Hill, Mecole, and Conley is the type of offense we need now in 2024.
The problem is after 2020 teams started having two deep safeties so we couldn't do that anymore. They tried to kind of bring it back this year, but there have been too many injuries in the receiver room
@joelsumpter4753 It also looks like the Mahomes deep accuracy just isn't there anymore like it was early in his career, not sure what happened to it.
What do you mean we "need" it? We've won two Super Bowls in a row and are in position to win another this year. Sounds like things are okay the way they are.
EVERYONE plays Cover 2 now. Leave more open for short and mid-range but take away the deep threat with 2 safeties over the top, every time.

Very good timing on releasing this video. This is the time where the entire NFL beliefs. Mahomes is a very average quarterback in general. He is considered overrated by many opposing fans. To get a reminder for those people that believe that they should reconsider watching this.

I miss when he had tackles that actually cared for his well being
I was watching the line play in those first 4-5 seasons & they (the tackles in particular) were far more consistent, especially when setting up screens. I hope Humphries can just be average to slightly above. That should help the left side of the line considerably. Now, if Jawaan could stop false starting & lining up too far back, that would be a major improvement as well. Unfortunately, I think there’s too much money tied up in him to let him go next season, so they’re stuck with him at least one more year😞

@@dominicharris5489 Lamar, Vick, Allen, Fields, Hurts to name a few. Mahomes is obviously the best and he has good scrambles in clutch situations but he's not the best scrambler
@joelsumpter4753lol youre confusing being a dual threat qb or just a rushing QB with scrambling. scrambling has more to do with extending plays and making something happen/getting a completion or touchdown by scrambling to extend plays and no one does that better than mahomes. Josh Allen, vick, and lamar are a better rushing/running qbs meaning they can have plays drawn for them to run the ball or if their 1st and 2nd reads are covered they can simply run the ball. thats not necessarily scrambling. and fields, really? lmao. more comes from plays when pat scrambles than any of those QBs.
@joelsumpter4753 for example, hurts barely ever scrambles, he either has plays designed for him to run or he passes the ball. when a play designed for him to throw breaks down not much comes from that play if he decides to go rogue and freestyle a play by scrambling out of the pocket. i mean josh and lamar are arguable but vick, fields and hurts are definitely not better scramblers than mahomes lol
