Hey BYD I have roughly 18,000 sq ft in my front yard. I’m using a 4 gallon battery sprayer. How much prodiamine to use? I have a measuring scale and my formula is .43 * 4 gallons = 1.72. Do you think it’s better to use my 25 gallon tank sprayer or 4 gallon battery sprayer?
What a great video! You are a gentlemen who is honest with integrity and knowledge we novices find believable and can apply. Grateful to you for step by step details not often seen like this.
Awesome instructions. Will be doing this for first time, and so worried I might do it wrong. Now after watching this I am much more confident that I can do this the right way now!!!

My yard looks much better than theirs but I also did three fertilizer treatments and two weed treatments on my own. I’ll save the $1100 and do it myself. Figure half the money for treating the lawn myself.

That Scott spreader fan tip works beautifully. I use the sidewalk method with blue marker dye. I got that 5 oz bottle ima use it after winter cuz I’m seeding right now with tenacity. Great video once again bruh!
Thanks for sharing/making a video how to mix liquid prodiamine. I did a granular pre emergent this fall, but I am definitely going to try this out next year. At first it seemed a bit hard, but after watching this video a few times, it does not seem that bad at all.
Great to see Prodiamine being sold at smaller quantities. I still have my giant container which has probably reached its end of shelf life hence weeds all over the place. Welcome back
I did the math on the $20 prodiamine and it comes out way too expensive per ounce. The $65 prodiamine gives you 16 times more product. They should cut that 5 ounce pack in half, then it would make better sense to buy it. I can see buying it as someone wanting to try out prodiamine, but to repeatedly purchase year after year doesn't seem smart to me, even if you have a small yard. If it were $10 for 5 ounces or $20 for 10 ounce, I could see buying it repeatedly on an infrequent basis where I need just a little.
The problem with buying the bigger bottle for the average home buyer is the shelf life. For the vast majority of us buying the bigger bottle would be a waste of money as the prodiamine will have reached its shelf life before we use all of the product.
@@tonyw2770 stated shelf life is 3 years. Just like the shelf life of many drugs such as aspirin which is 5 years they are more than stable and work well beyond. I used Anderson's Barricade as well but I applied too much. Some of the grass is beginning to die. Yard is looking yellowish. Any advice on how to possibly correct this...if I can?
Should empty measuring container, re-zero then add 1 tbsp of Prodiamine and see if it is 13 grams or how close.. sure would be easier to just scoop out a level tbsp for each gallon of water. Just ordered Prodiamine from link but 5lbs which is WAY cheaper than the 5 oz bottle per ounce.

Rock beds are cool to but there may be a yellow residue on the rocks after an application. Now Preem is probably a better choice for the flower 🌸 beds.
@@dpeagles More expensive in the long run seems to be determined by turf type and sqft. Sunniland 007 dithiopyr covers ~15K sqft (Bermuda) for $25 at Lowes. "5oz bottle will cover 6,020 sq ft (Bermuda) at max rate for a full year" for $20 Prodiamine
Question, If the rate is 5oz and I have 18,000 square feet and I have to fill up twice with a 5 gallon back pack sprayer. Do I add another 5 oz or break those 2.5oz in half?
Is this BermudaGrass?, if so and you are doing two apps of prodiamine in a season it’s .43 or .46 oz per per 1k sq ft. Which means you’ll need about 8.25 oz total prodiamine. @@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Will do! Last thing, can Tenacity be applied after/with pre-e?
@@EyeBDaMD yes but be mindful that Tenacity should not be applied to actively growing BermudaGrass, even though you see people on RUclips doing it, they are not reading the directions. It won’t kill the activity growing grass but it may stunt the growth, turn it white temporarily. If the lawn is dormant then spray away👍🏾
HOSE END SPRAYER???? I NEED TO BLANKET AFTER MOWING
PHIL MY 392💪🏽🤘🏽🤙🏽 it’s not recommended to use a hose end sprayer to apply a pre emergent because you’ll have holes in your blanket. It will be a Swiss change blanket.
