This recipe really is one of the quickest and easiest spaghetti dishes that you can make with only a handful of ingredients. As well as this dish, I've made numerous other pasta dishes for the restaurant staff meals and for my family too, but this particular pasta dish is the one that gets the most requests.
This dish is not authentic Italian cuisine, far from it. But I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how delicious it will turn out.
I was taught this recipe from a former chef many years ago and it opened my eyes to how garlic powder / granules can be used in a variety of ways. My experience of it then was limited to only marinades, rubs and for seasoning burger patties. But garlic granules, in some instances, are a terrific way of infusing a concentrated aroma and flavour of garlic and it just seems to work for this particular dish.
This dish can be prepared in the same time it takes to boil the pasta, around 10-15 minutes. So why don't you give it a try, I'm certain that you'll want to make it time and time again from then on.

Thanks for watching everyone!!! - Хобби
really love how you eat what you cook
Gotta love how the "generous" amount of oil is actually the same as what's a "drizzle" with many other YT chefs :D
I just want to say that I love that half the video is you eating your delicious recipe, Thank Chef Dai!
+Eradon lol, thanks a lot as always mate!
That looks delicious! I've never made salad spaghetti. I'll make this this weekend for sure! Thank you chef Dai. :)
+JunsKitchen thanks Jun. Although this spaghetti isn't the most sophisticated, it really is easy to make and rather tasty imo. Hopefully you'll like it too, cheers mate!
Fantastic light summer dinner! Thanks Chef!!
you're welcome Ed, thanks for watching mate!
Made this recipe it was fast, easy to do. The ingredients are simple and it was delicious. Thanks chef dai .
What a great idea for a quick lunch. The garlic powder saves the effort of frying fresh garlic with the bacon - I’ll definitely give this a try.
Glig thanks so much. This is my least watched video but one of my favourite recipes. Honestly, whenever I’ve made it for people, they’ve absolutely loved it. Please try it and tell me what you think.....
Quick n easy and you can obviously never go wrong with bacon. Nice take on a dressing, defo going to try that for my next salad.
+Wi1dZer0 thanks a lot James. This one is super easy to make and you're right, can't beat fried bacon!!!
WOW!! I love this recipe
Chef that is a interesting combination of flavors i will be trying that! Thanks for the video it was a real treat!
+CODE 47 thanks a lot mate. I think it tastes yummy and it doesn't take long at all to make....

+ABD 0_0 you're welcome mate. Thanks for the comment as always. I agree with you, gotta love Japanese Italian food. I used to work in an Italian restaurant in Tokyo, so I have many recipes to share. Will definitely upload some more soon....

Mmmm bacon... i'm in!👍
+Majority Clock97 lol, great stuff, me too!
Looks like a perfect summer dish!
We finally got some warm / hot days coming in germany, so I'm definitely going to try it.
I also really like that it uses ingredients I can actually get my hands on...
Except garlic Powder... May need to search a bit for that one.
+Anton Reinecke thanks a lot. Do they not sell garlic powder in the dry herb and spices section at your local supermarket? Where in Germany do you live?
+Cooking with Chef Dai I just never really paid attention to this spice. Turned out it was easier to find than expected, so there's nothing in the way of making it tomorrow! Oh, and I live in Hamburg (Is that the english name too though...?)
+Anton Reinecke top man! That's great...I hope you enjoy it. I've been to Hamburg a couple of times before, you're lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world!!! Many Japanese living there too....
+Cooking with Chef Dai And yes, it was delicious! (Even though I probably used too much soy sauce...)
finally back to my boarding house and able to watch your video again ^^

+maftj lol, have a wonderful and safe trip Timo!!!!!
and top it with onsen tamago, nyummyyy
oooooh, sounds yummy, next time I will do that!!!
Cooking with Chef Dai when i had a baito in japan, I made this salad which, lettuce, bacon, some parmesan cheese, and some sauces which idk, one of it is black and the other is mayo, and then top it with onsen tamago. goddamn it was heaven ;9
Please adopt me lol, I just discovered you recently and I've learned a lot of your videos.
+sou mao lol, thank you so much.
You could also try to bring the hot spaghetti straight into the bacon pan with tongs and toss with the bacon fat and bacon instead of needing extra oil. This will infuse the flavour throughout the pasta. Add some Modena balsamic vinegar, pepper, fresh arugula, baby spinach, sea salt (or soy sauce) and Thai or sweet Italian basil.
One doesn't simply use any other oil than olive oil on pasta!!! xD
...Seriously though, Olive Oil gives this really "italian" flavour, so i think it's in there for a reason.
wondering if that won't be kinda a little dry...? Anyway seems delicious ;)
as long as you use the olive oil, it should be fine....thanks
Hi chef(:
i love your videos and all your recepies but i am italian and this is not an italian plate... here in italy we don't have anything similar to this ahah. italian cousine is completely different (:
This and I will add on some flying fish roe.
Because bacon and fish roe would be really tasty.
Or fish roe and slices of salmon sashimi.
:D
oooohhh, sounds lovely Aida!!!!!
Is it okay if I use the bacon oil/fat and add it on the pasta?
absolutely...go for it!
is it possible for you to do a video on Teriyaki Chicken
here you go mate.....ruclips.net/video/OJ0IMjAzUzA/видео.html
youre looking handsome and your food is looking delicious chef :)
Omg.... Chef Dai you are really amazing, but salad and spaghetti......as italian I can't see..... Like also spaghetti as side dish......
+Rach Sky I know, I know ☺️
But I forgive you, you are really really talented
You forgot cherry tomatoes :)
if you ever happen happen to make a dish and have it recorded, an then realize that it doesnt taste good or you dont like it. PUT IT UP ON RUclips... there are a couple of channels i watch (runnyrunny999, foodwishes) that have done that and its funny! at the end of the video when they are tasting it, they are like, ''well that didnt work right!,...on second thought dont make this'' its very rare but funny.
+erik nulty lol, sound advice indeed. Watch this space.....
This recipe is awful
Bruh, why would you say that? It's your opinion, so keep it to yourself. I personally loved this recipe. So please, keep it to yourself
ABD 0_0
OH NO! Someone has an opinion on the INTERNET! MOMMY HELP ME!! This recipe is soysauce and pasta. It's bad.
+Dinglebarriez Yeah well your opinion is rude, so therefore; Its better to keep jt to yourself. If he thinks that it tastes great, than its fine.
ABD 0_0
You cant be that stupid. You sound like a religious dictator. You have the responsibility to listen to opposing views so you can reconsider your own and grow. You must be a kid.
+Dinglebarriez I don't think we're getting anywhere. Let's leave this thread. Also, no. I'm not a child
Looks kinda nasty
