Farer watches aren't short on personality, and co-founder Paul Sweetenham follows suit in that department. We took a time out during the Windup Watch Fair in Chicago to catch up with Paul in our first interview since an event we held at the Filson store in Manhattan. He's got new watches to show off, and plenty to reveal about the future of Farer. In this video we take a look at the newly released AquaMatic collection of vibrant divers, as well as new executions of their excellent GMT watches, from the Maze to the Charlton.

I know it’s not the focus, but the FXD looks great!
Really enjoyed speaking with Paul at the Chicago Windup show, very generous with his time and seemed to be a good guy as well. Personally, I’m waiting for the Stanhope II to be available again. Great chance to see Farer brand offerings in person.
They have a stellar lineup. They’re on my “to buy” list.
I just got my first Farer today, one of the aqua compressors, and it's great so far.
Ive owned one of their pilot watches (the Bradfield) for a little over a year. Great watch, Im a big fan of all of their stuff. Great use of color! The lume on my Bradfield is out of this world too, best lume Ive ever seen.
Good job Paul! I click as fast as I could. Got 1 of 50 of the Maze II’s. 👍 Bought an Elvington II chrono earlier in the yr - your design team is just incredible.
I love the design choices and colors, I enjoy seeing what this brand does in the future.
I think Farer is the coolest watch brand in the world at the moment.
Gorgeous watches!!!
Thurso is in Scotland and Freshwater (Freshwater West) is in Wales, only Porthleven is in England. It would be more accurate if Paul had called them famous surfing locations in the UK or maybe used Great Britain.
Thought this was an interview with Anthony Farer the Timepiece Gent himself. 😔
Farer: outstanding design, unique, original. Two dissapointing design elements: dates and closed case backs. Eliminate the date, and go with exhibition case backs and I would buy many of your models !
It makes them different I guess
I only buy watches with dates -- obviously a question of personal preference.
If you put glass on the back, it increases the thickness of the watch. Not needed in a diver watch. What the big deal about putting a date on there. It’s a very useful feature.
