MY FIRST TIME WATCHING RRR / MY FIRST INDIAN FILM EXPERIENCE

  • My first time watching the outrageously awesome film RRR, an amazing experience that I will NEVER forget! This movie has honestly changed the way I feel about modern filmmaking and storytelling, raising the bar to heights I didn't even know were possible.
This video is a REMASTERED REUPLOAD, so I'd also like to share the original video description with you all. I am writing this now as a man who's watched a few more AMAZING Indian films and is already becoming a big fan of the industry, so let me also share the pure, unedited description I wrote a couple of months ago when I first published this reaction.
Thank you all for being here. Peace out!
    [ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION]:
This movie BLEW. MY. MIND. I haven't had this much fun watching a film in years!!
The performances from the cast, and especially from the two leads, Jr NTR (Bheem) and Ram Charan (Rama Raju), really took what would've been an exciting blast of film on its other merits, and made it LEGENDARY.
Let me say, I normally can't stand dubbing. I was pretty annoyed that I didn't have a Telegu version to watch, and watching a dub into Hindi didn't really give me what I was looking for either. Typically I prefer to experience an actor's performance both visually and audibly, even if I can't understand the language, and in this case I decided to choose the English dub over a Hindi dub because neither would offer me the "true" experience I would usually choose. This, combined with a different translation in the subtitles, ended up proving a very interesting and ultimately enriching experience, in my opinion, as I was now able to form a middle-ground mental translation of every line (because what they said and what the subtitles said were typically different interpretations of the original Telegu line). I ended up REALLY enjoying this. It wasn't exactly ideal, but I'm very pleased with the experience.
The MUSIC, and the SOUND. I don't even have the words for how much I loved LISTENING to this movie from start to finish. Just an incredible experience.
The COLORS! The whole movie had a vibrancy that made it feel ALIVE, I loved it.
    I loved ALL of it!
TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD WATCH NEXT IN THE COMMENTS, AND SUBSCRIBE TO SEE MY FUTURE REACTIONS! THANKS!!

Hello, my friends! Thank you for watching my reaction to the INREDIBLE film RRR!
This video is a REMASTERED REUPLOAD which has been significantly improved to provide a more enjoyable watching experience; my first video was even MORE amateurly edited, if you can believe that. We have the RUclips AI to thank for giving me the opportunity for an improved edit through the silver lining of a copyright block on my original video, and in the end I'm grateful that I'm able to share this much-improved reaction experience with you.
And don't worry, I learned my lesson with English dubs! In future I'll be sticking with Hindi dubs if I can't find a version of the movie in its original language.
Thanks again for being here, peace out!

I discovered Indian cinema (Hindi, or Bollywood, but am only now coming to Telugu, RRR being my "gateway") over 12 years ago, and fell completely in love with everything - the actors, the colors, the music, the dancing, the incredibly wonderful stories...all of it. Now it gives me literal goosebumps to know that more Western people are discovering Indian movies through this masterpiece. My favorite movie of all time was Khabi Khushie, Khabi Gham, a Hindi movie with an amazing cast, starring Shahrukh Khan. But there are so, so many. Have a great time discovering these rich treasures!

You would've enjoyed it even better if you watched the original Telugu or Hindi audio, way better than English dubbed one. The arrow and bow is kept (after the fight , till the end) as Raju's character is designed based on Alluri Seeta Rama Raju (freedom fighter , who gave the British nightmares)

Great Reaction. Now please let me help you with Historical References used in this movie to understand it better 😊
    1. Ram and Bheem both were Freedom Fighters in real during British rule.
    2. Also another Ram name and characteristics reference is taken from Lord Ram who was 8th incarnation of God Vishnu (God who manages all universes) before Thousands of years and his wife name was Sita (Same Names are used here)
    3. Another Bhim Name and Characteristics was taken from Bhim who was very famous and physically powerful warrior before approx. 3400 years in India and it is said, physically he had power of 100 elephants. That is why here Bhim has shown Physically powerful.
    4. Lord Ram wore Saffron cloths and had Bow and Arrow as weapons. Same has been shown in Climax scene. Bow and Arrow was taken from statue of Lord Ram by Bhim in jungle. Also there is movie coming on Story of Lord Ram and Sita in this June which name is ADIPURUSH. You really should checkout trailer.
    5. That bike Bhim carried in climax was only 50 kilograms which was known in battles during 1st world war. Sometimes people cannot digest such scene. Also, in India; Directors take liberty in such scenes to make it or more entertaining.
    6. Last Fight Scene Song "Ramam Raghavam & Bheemam" was telling about Lord ram and Bheem from ancient time.
    7. In last song; they have presented freedom fighters statues behind them.
There are many such historical references used in this movie 🤘🙏
