Living in Southern Cali, I totally understand why outdoor rabbits are always a no-go! Coyotes, racoons, hawks, bobcats, and even foxes and stray dogs are always a threat! Indoor bunnies only please!❤ Love the message and awareness you spread 🙌
Even me who lives in sweden i'd never keep my rabbits outsite i know people think sweden doesn't have predators but European vipers, cats, dogs, eagles, moose, cars.
Did you notice the last outdoor habitat, the woman greeted the rabbits by name and they ran and hid from her! Sums up why you want to keep your rabbit indoors
I've had bunns on and off for 40 years. I've had them inside and I've had them outside. My first bunn I introduced to the outside, she did not want to come in. Of course, I brought her in, but every time we went outside for adventure, she would pout at the thought of bring brought in, so I made her a beautiful and safe enclosure outside. When I would bring her inside if it was cold and snowy, she wanted out. From then on, I've kept my bunns outdoors. They love to roam, dig, explore, and do all the things bunns do as nature intended. Now my bunns live in my chicken coop with the chickens, they do not like being in their own enclosure. Every morning I clean and it is always someplace nice to sit, watch them and relax. They love when I come in and especially when I play music on my phone, the chickens and bunns all huddle around and listen. They love when I bring snacks and look forward to it every day. I'm in my 50's and have studied up, having first-hand experience as well, when it comes to bunns, keeping them safe from predators if first and foremost, and it can be done outside where they want to be. Rabbits have been around since God knows when and it is only very recently that they have been kept indoors as pets. From my long experience, I find they enjoy being outside in nature as it was intended :)
I don't understand why someone would want a bunny just to keep them outside and not interact with them my bunny is in every part of my life just like my child.
I SO agree! I keep my rabbit outside against my will and it was one of the saddest parts of my life when I had to say goodbye to her and keep her outside! 😢
But why do they have to be inside for you to say hi and interact? You lost me….. 😂 my rabbits always lived in safe big runs with a home base outside and I always (well used to this was years ago, before they passed of old age) interact atleast 4 times a day? So no offence your wrong 😅😊😊😮
My three bunnies have their own bedroom that is actually bigger than mine, but they are rescues and like eachothers company and doing their own thing. Only one of them likes to be pet and hang out with me, the other two just like to hang out and play with their brothers, and I respect that. So I do understand bunnies not being interacted with all the time, for some of us its mainly about giving a good home for them to do whatever they want even if they'te not interested in being cuddly or friendly at all. Generally with any of my animals being friendly or cuddly when they're simply not interested, is the least of my concern as long as I'm able to give them a good life and allow them to be happy, thrive and have other animal conpanions. I can also tell you if my bunnies had a choice they would absolutely live outside full time, they do have an outdoor play area that they have supervised time in and they hate it when they have to come back inside. If I was able to afford one of these fancy sheds with a run attached my bunnies would absolutely love it and wouldn't give a damn how much time I spend out there with them 😄
@@littlesqueakdreams640 I mean the time you spent with them throughout the day combined would still be less then a bun who lives indoor being part of the family
I agree with you, outdoor setups are not okay. My favorite rabbitat was the white themed one that you said looked like it was from a magazine… just beautiful!
I took care of baby bunnies for a week or two, and they are a lot of work but I did really enjoy letting the buns roam outside in a pen, they love the grass and the sunshine ❤ and they would lay down or loaf and it made me cry so much they are too cute
Those outdoor set ups are exceptions. They were better than most peoples indoor set ups, better than your set up too. Sometimes you just gotta work with what you can do. People may have other pets in the house. This is a good adjustment
I don't mind having both the indoor and outdoor enclosure for when it's nice out and you're gonna sit outside yourself. In winter it's different though, if they're outdoors you won't be so happy to spent time with them and you could miss out on a lot of symptoms of illnesses by not spending so much time with em.
Okay, all of these rabbit parents are doing the best they can for their bunnies. There is a lot of thought that went into these habitats and they all look happy and content. We, humans, feel the need to always go to the extreme of things. I get there are a lot of people out there that don't care for animals but there are tons more that do. Rabbits' natural habit is outdoors not inside a home with air conditioning. Props and blessings to all the rabbit parents who love their furry friends and do the best they can with their resources ❤
You can argue dogs and cats' natural habitat is outdoors too... They're domestic. I get that being outdoors is sometimes the best people can manage, I do agree the bunnies looked happy in all but one video where she said "Just no". They're prey animals with lots of natural predators, if the outdoor situation is secure and they have lots of space and enrichment and a friend, then it's okay though ultimately it's less of a pet but wellbeing wise, it's fine.
@@j0y.447 you bring them inside in the mean time ? My home is small but i have a huge yard with a giant custom enclosure with an amount if space that I'd never be able to give them inside. Your outdoor enclosure has to be wheather proof & strong and safe enough to wistand rain wind (built for like a shed rather than a cage) ect unless there's a literally storm or hurricane in that case you bring em inside temporarily since they're supposed to get indoor roaming time anyways.

With that said, the last one you reviewed. The rabbits seemed skittish and scared of the owner coming to their space. It doesn't seem like there is much bond between the owners and rabbits. I may be wrong but that's how it felt.
If those people are like me they have put that much effort into a shed because they love and adore their rabbits but they can’t have them inside 🙁😊 Also I don’t think the bun looks too scared maybe just fed up, you can see the door was already open at the beginning! The owner most likely just finished cleaning their enclosure before filming or had filmed a few times before getting the final shot!
Aw Bolita has the little hitch from no.3 and he loooooves it! Whenever it’s cold or he feels like hiding, he goes inside it and it makes him feel safe!
My senior bunny recently passed away.. Seeing all these cute rabbits and their homes really helped me calm down.. I just wish I could’ve done more for my little baby after seeing all this
Lost our little Sticky Bun a few years back and still miss him dreadfully, but until I have the time and proper space to free roam a bunny (or 2) I'm just going to admire these videos and be extra jealous of all the loves that Lennon gives🥰
Not everywhere has places where you can’t have bunnies outside! Here in Denmark foxes are the most worry but they don’t go into cities and stay on farm sides :)
They are Over the TOp, the buns deserve it, they are wonderful creatures with so much love and demand attention, huge personalities, I love it Never had one til 6 months ago, learned alot since and still learning every day. He is , Bubbles, free roam in his room with 12 small roommates, Cockatiels.
Predators can get in hutches, we built a hutch outside for our bunny's when I was probably 7-10 idk how old,,, and we think it was our neighbors dogs but something got in, my bunny was never seen again and my brothers bunny was found under our shed and lived many more years but I'm not getting anymore rabbits with my parents, they dont wanna bring them inside so I'm gonna wait till I move out in a few years
7:23 okay so I have that hutch, is is probably the biggest one like that on the market BUT definitely not acceptable as where they live, mine will have an outdoor very secure run with the hutch in it, the run will be attached to the outdoordoor of my room where the will be a pen for them. (For the night and when we cannot keep a close eye on them, they will just be in my room in their pen which i hope can someday become free-roam in my room)
I love the tunnel to different a area. It turns their home into a giant bunny burrow. I love Easter time when I can add new bunny decor. Got a bunny shaped shelf from Target one year. That was a favorite find of mine. 😊
I liked the first one. It isn't really leaving them outside it's giving them a huge choice and whichever they choose to go to has plenty of room. I always strongly believe no matter what pet you have be it bunny, chinchilla, chicken, dog, pig, or anything else that you must interact with it, socialize, love it, and such. But also I do believe in giving safe outdoor excursions, best if supervised but when you can't that first one looks like a wise alternative, because if they are outside and a predator comes they can run inside either building safely through tunnels. I like the teepees but otherwise I'm not fond of the rest. Why is because, tho not judging because I've done hutches before, I just don't like them. When I had rabbits at first I got a hutch because the breeder said it was a must but not long after having the rabbits in the hutch, being an empath, I sensed my bunnies felt claustrophobic in there and then saw it just wasn't enough room and they need my companionship. I sensed they needed socialization with me as well as each other. I took them out and let them free range with me and sleep in my room. I rarely ever used the hutch ever again except when guests with dogs were coming over. For sale reason not very fond of putting them in a cubicle of any kind unless it's a situation like keeping them temporarily out of a room being bug bombed or avoid chewing on a cord and then when you put cord away and air is clean you let them out. But I adore people giving animals choices and letting them be them as safely as possible.
When I think of a bunny with its whole room outside. Just imagine how it will be at night. The bunnies could feel lonely or a little too hidden away from their owners.
Idk it isn’t always about all the money 💰 you spend but how well you take care of yourself and them. They don’t need a fancy bed or decorations but they sure need attention and love ❤️
I think the hutch is like a part of the shed like the habitat and like I use that for my bunny too so like they could go in there and then come outside again
We have a similar situation to the first one with having the shed type thing and a tunnel connecting to the run. And then they also get supervised free roam time outside every day!
One of my rabbits hates being indoors, she loves to live and be outside. I think she may have been born outside so was used to it. I kept her in for about a year and it was so hard to get her in when she was out for play time. There was a large hutch she could go and chill in but one night she refused to come in point blank. Her partner wouldn't come in either. She gets upset being indoors and they binky about outside. They now live in a double hutch with the doors to the run taken off with adjoining outside enclosure and has free roam of a lot of the garden during the day. I have insulated their home extremely well and they're quite content. I use snuggle safe heat discs in the winter and go out at silly o clock to get them to reheat and ensure they are warm enough. I only brought her in during the heatwave, that was a job and a half but the other one who likes to come inside and be outside too was choosing to relax in the heat under some shade. I thought they hated heat but he chose that so I kept an eye on him and had water right next to him. I use fox proof wiring, have the lower sides and underneath blockaded with bricks too, concrete slabs on the top to ensure the lids stay down. They have clear plastic tarpaulin high over the top of their hutch and also on the edges of the run. They are in an enclosure inside an even larger enclosure which takes over nearly half the garden and they have another section where I let them out when I am keeping an eye out. I am just waiting to extend their personal space so they have more room at night or early in the morning as scaffolding is up at the moment and in the way to put up another large pen to join the one they have now. Draught free, mosquito & flea protected, fox protected, rain protected. They chose that lifestyle. I accomodated.
They chose that over a large double bedroom indoors to themselves, all done out with rabbit furniture etc. They had run of the rest of the place too and the garden. They chose the garden. Their space is right next to the windows and my back door.
I absolutely agree with you. I plan on getting a bunny someday and I want to keep it in doors 💖 I'd be afraid predators would be able to get inside of the bunnies outdoor house 💔
I have an indoor, fully free roam (except for one room) rabbit which we've had for about two years, and we recently got two new rabbits who we're intending to be outdoors while they're bonding with eachother since we have no room indoors for them to both have their own space away from eachother. Overnight they're in their hutch with a tarp over them and if it's cold we layer some blankets depending on the temperature. I was wondering how we can improve it while their bonding still.
I loved the one with bunnies painted on the wall and the bunny basket on the wall but I also loved that wicker bed too! Unfortunately mine would chew it up to pieces. My previous one no but these guys are big time chewers I bought them two willow branch tents and they chewed it up with in two days team work since I have two! But that is ok they love their hay boxes, there cushion pads and boxes to hide chew or do whatever, plenty of interaction toys! Every bunny is different.
I would love for you to make a video on the best toys for bunnies. Today I saw a video on a rescue page of a rabbit in a ball pit (storage tub with plastic cat balls with bells inside). It looked fun.
My rabbit lives with my chicken in an outdoor enclosure. Its huge with plenty enough space to run around. The chickens have an elevated hutch and his base hutch is underneath. The doors are open 24/7 and he has his litter tray inside it. The chickens are super friendly with him and he doesn’t mind them one bit. We don’t live in the US and we don’t have any predators where I live. He does come inside after I get back from school so I get to have some bonding time with him. So although I agree and understand that rabbits should be inside I do think there should be exceptions if the owner is doing it right.
My rabbits habitat is just a simple setup with lots of love and care from me and my family and you r channel has helped me to become a better m in for my bunnies and that it does not matter how much money you down it is about the time and effort you give your bunnies.
Thank you so much for the videos and the facts you provide. I have a mini rex dwarf rabbit named nugget and you definitely help me out with her habitat's and proper foods... JUST EVERYTHING!😃😃
i would love an indoor outdoor free roam bunny, so id definitely spend the money on the first one. id love to see my bunny lay in lush grass and nibble at it and lay in the sun but feel protected and also be able to come back inside to roam wherever they please
2,3,4, and 10 are so cute and beautiful. I agree they belong in catalogs ❤😊. And same sorry to my bunny I don’t know how to make our home that beautiful 😂.
How about a video on how to cut nails when a black rabbit has black nails, and you can't see the cuticle. (You shine a torch from under the nail.) I used to have a silver marten with black nails.
I have 7 rabbits and a bunny room and each one has their own cubby to sleep or claim as their space and free roamed and they love having that one spot that no other bunny invades. It could be used to keep them off the ground
Once I saw the notification I had to watch it immediately I actually follow most of those accounts it's really interesting to see those accounts in your video oh my God it's amazing!!!!
I own guinea pigs and have C&C cages. My sister in-law has a bunny, we do not get along with her but her mom was saying how she wanted to get a cage for the bunny kinda like we had for our piggies because the bunny was living in a small store bought cage and only occasionally given time out of it. I did the best i could and created a C&C cage. I didnt have enough to make it as big as i wanted and not knowing how high the bunny could jump i did a 2Wx4Lx2H. I made it open with small D-links like i do with my big cages. I hope it was a good enough size either way it was 3-4x the area the bunny had in that stupid store cage.... why do stores get away with those in any type of animal ive heard even the gerbels arent supposed to be in their cages. I only know piggies and only had so many grids i hope it was big enough. I dont like the Girl but i couldnt let the bunny live in that situation
i have 10 rabbits and i keep all of them outside we have a big fenced property like about 250×200 meters and there are also giant trees (oaks willows and cedar) they provide shade and i sometimes feed willow branches to the rabbits mostly they are on their own i just bring food and fresh water every day most of them come up to my feet and let me touch them lightly but no petting and picking up like some of you guys do
My rabbits live in a shed exactly like the ones in the videos and mine is predator proof and got insulation for the colder months. In England outdoor rabbits are fine
In england outdoor rabbits are fine?? What do you mean by that, cuz in sweden where i live it's not illigal to keep em outdoor but weather and what about predators?
We have an indoor and an outdoor hutch for when the temperature is right. They get to have supervised downstairs free roam for 4-6 hours a day. But not everyone can do 24/7 free roam especially if they have other pets. We have a cat and a dog and I would never trust them alone with the bunnies.
I just can’t wrap my head around people spending all this money on outdoor enclosures, when I’m sure rabbit proofing part of your house would be cheaper. No to mention that indoor rabbits live longer.
I think outdoors could be nice in a mild weather for few hours, but not all the time. But we have weird weather where I live, summers are quite hot and winters are damp and cold. I also don't get why someone would get rabbit just to keep it in an enclosure outside. You can't bond with them like you would do if they were inside, because you are not with them as much. It's like keeping dog outside, or a cat, it just doesn't make sense.
My rabbit has a 3 floor flat inside my flat, and he free roams (as long as there's carpet, he hates the tile and wood) .... I think he likes his personal rhabitat ;)
Hi Lorelei, i loved to freeroam my two bunnys in my big room but i am allergic to hay but i dont wanna let them stay outside do you know something to put my hay in or something
I know the weirdness on water bottles, however, I have had buns who wouldn't drink from a bowl and buns who wouldn't drink from a bottle...I offer both and let them pick.
Hey so I got a lionhead a week ago and it's very scared of me and hates when I go by it. Will it like me in the future and come up to me and stuff? It's almost 1 year old
I need help. I have 3 male neutered bunnies and 1 spayed female bunny. They do not get along at all. It's a bloodbath everytime I try to get them together. I have them "free roaming" in the house, but I've had to sequester them to different bedrooms. How can I get them to get along?? Everything I have seen online about bunny dates or stress bonding doesnt work. I need help!
Almost all of those are nicer then my room those bunnies are really living their best life’s 😂 (Also that you sooooo much for making these videos if it weren’t for you my bunnies Cinnamon and potato would be out side in a hutch but I convinced my parents to let them be indoors and inside a pen with Multiple hours of free roam time. You changed my bunnies lives thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤)

Yes I love anything that mimics a bunnies natural warren (warren is a rabbit burrow or maybe like a rabbit idea of an underground mansion 😂).
I love Easter/spring time tooooo! It's a bunny moms paradise 🐇🐇🐇 my bunny collection is becoming a bit of a problem! 🤣🤣🤣
Not about being fancy but being loved
8:04 Lorelei literally dying of beautyfulness😂
Hands down, # 10 is my favorite!!
Hi lorelie I'm loving your hair 😍 also nice video :)
My favorite was the first one
one day rabbits will be kings and queens and we live to serve their cuteness
My bunny: GUVE ME THESE HABITATS
Me: YOU ALREADY HAVE MORE THAN HALF OF A ROOM AND YOU ARE A SMALL BUNNYUNNY
How r these ikea beds looking so nice, we’ve went through two already and the one we have now can barely stand up it’s been chewed so much 😭
When I think of a bunny with its whole room outside. Just imagine how it will be at night. The bunnies could feel lonely or a little too hidden away from their owners.
8:25 looks like a nersery ngl😭💀
My favorite was the one with the little chair and the school bus with the bunnies' names.
Dang I feel like my bunny is slumming it by living with me based on some of those bunny habitats!
You have helped me sooo much with my bunny
This whole video makes me feel bad for my rabbit who has to share a room with me 😂
#10 has always been my favorite setup! 😍
The one with the picnic table food dish holder. #4
My daughter loves your Channel
Their space is right next to the windows and my back door.
ok now I'm jealous of those bunnies' setups!! I feel like some bunnies live better than I do 😂😂
I absolutely agree with you.
In the last one, you can obviously see it’s on the second floor indoors.
This really was so cute and I love it😀♥️🐰
Thank you so much for the videos and the facts you provide. I have a mini rex dwarf rabbit named nugget and you definitely help me out with her habitat's and proper foods... JUST EVERYTHING!😃😃
I love you Lennon! My rabbit and me love to watch your videos!
Can't believe I got here so early! Thanks for spreading awareness about bunny care and educating people, but without unkindness :)
i would love an indoor outdoor free roam bunny, so id definitely spend the money on the first one. id love to see my bunny lay in lush grass and nibble at it and lay in the sun but feel protected and also be able to come back inside to roam wherever they please
2,3,4, and 10 are so cute and beautiful. I agree they belong in catalogs ❤😊. And same sorry to my bunny I don’t know how to make our home that beautiful 😂.
You’d have to hire a rabbit interior decorator. 😂😂😂
How about a video on how to cut nails when a black rabbit has black nails, and you can't see the cuticle. (You shine a torch from under the nail.) I used to have a silver marten with black nails.
Idk even how to trim their nails yet Omg 😱
The second one is my favorite it's giving me such good rabbitat ideas
i have 10 rabbits and i keep all of them outside we have a big fenced property like about 250×200 meters and there are also giant trees (oaks willows and cedar) they provide shade and i sometimes feed willow branches to the rabbits mostly they are on their own i just bring food and fresh water every day most of them come up to my feet and let me touch them lightly but no petting and picking up like some of you guys do
I liked all the indoor ones!
First time commenting all the way from Nigeria i really like all your videos and am getting my pet rabbit tomorrow
Cute what will you name it
Still thinking of it, maybe Lennon 😁
@@Rabbiv01_ cute! My bunny is called Shelby

I love your vids!!❤🐰
4:19 where is that hidey house! I wanna buy it for my bun!
You should start your own Bunny Catalogue and feature these rooms. That way boomers can access your content.
I love seeing the bunny habitats!!
I think they were all amazing ❤
THE PICNIC FOOD TRAY I WANT
I love your Chanel and your videos I know so much about bunny’s now 😁
My house rabbit climbs a carpeted cat tree with different levels
My rabbit has a 3 floor flat inside my flat, and he free roams (as long as there's carpet, he hates the tile and wood) .... I think he likes his personal rhabitat ;)
You are soo amazing ❤
The first one is amazing I have the same treat jar in England!
Hi Lorelei, i loved to freeroam my two bunnys in my big room but i am allergic to hay but i dont wanna let them stay outside do you know something to put my hay in or something
You should do a q and a and have people ask questions about bunnies I think it could be pretty useful. Just a suggestion💜💜 love your vids
love your videos !!!!
I know the weirdness on water bottles, however, I have had buns who wouldn't drink from a bowl and buns who wouldn't drink from a bottle...I offer both and let them pick.
Want bunnies indoors!!! Love this video!
Hey so I got a lionhead a week ago and it's very scared of me and hates when I go by it. Will it like me in the future and come up to me and stuff? It's almost 1 year old
Oh I’m earlier than I thought haha, cute video and cute bunny’s 🐰❤
You changed my bunnies lives thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤)
Hii lorelei! I was wondering how do you send in photos of the habitat? I just redid my bunny's area! I got alfalfa hay and some pellets! I love your vids!
# 10 was for sure the best
