Thanks to this video my husband and I decided to drive three hours from home to check out this campground. We stayed in pull-thru site 9 with full hookups. The lake is downhill about 200 yards from this campsite. We were a bit concerned about cell service but we actually had at least 2 bars of service and from inside our camper had 5 stars of service (Consumer Cellular). We arrived after 5pm so we have to check in tomorrow by 10am to keep our site, something we didn't know about ahead of time. The road to the campsite loop is easy to miss just before reaching the visitor center (never did see a sign). Campground is mostly full and pleasantly quiet, so far.

In most areas you can get AT&T but unfortunately for other providers you'll have to go back up the park entrance road about halfway to Highway 71.
FYI - they still make weather radios.
