Been using mine for a couple of years now for camping and for a couple power failures at home. Love it. Thanks for the tip on topping off the house batteries, I wasn't sure how to do that. Good video guys. Thanks for the tips. Hope you are doing well.
We are able to get our Jackery 1000 to power the 800-watt microwave that came in our RV. It’s runs the microwave showing 1250 watts. If a microwave is a deal breaker, you can get a Panasonic Inverter microwave and run it and reduced power and the Jackery will run the microwave at lower wattage relative to the reduced power.
Thanks for the review of the Explorer 1000. It's a good power station but for the price of it. It's quite on the expensive side when compared to other power stations.
We have seen other options for a little bit less, but we’re so thrilled with the reliability and ease of a Jackery. Dependability was a key factor for us when reading reviews before purchasing. But certainly there are a variety of options! 🔌
Actually it doesn’t matter how long you keep your rig, there is a new movement where people are just taking their lithium’s from rig to rig, and depending on the manufacturer of batteries, you can add more to the system for 1-3 years unlike traditional batteries
Good video! I love my Jackery as well. Do you have a way on the outside of the rv to hook up the solar panels to charge the rv batteries directly from the solar panels? Thanks for any info.!
Thank you! The Sol Horizon does come prewired with an external plug for portable solar panels, however given the type of connection it is, it would require the portable solar panels to be those like the Zamp brand offers: www.zampsolar.com/pages/solar-panels-rv-trailers-campers-motorhomes Unfortunately, the Jackery solar panels have a different connector and and cannot directly be plugged into the trailer.
Thank you for the video. I will get this one too. Thanks. Also, do you have the link for both Boondockers Welcome for discount price also for Harvest Hosts via your site? I would like to buy thru your site. thanks
Thanks so much, Ryan! Our link will get you 15% off of Harvest Hosts subscription. Thanks for asking! harvesthosts.refr.cc/kimberlybutton We don't have a link for Boondockers Welcome.
I bought a 1000. I figured how to hook it up. Use theb30 to 110 dogbone and plug into Jackery I only use the fridge and tv . I’ll have to watch and see how it drains . Go to campground and recharged Jack
We don’t have an issue with the charging time with the way we use it. Do you have a faster one? How fast can you charge with an alternate power station?

Thank you for watching!
I'm looking at this for our boondocking needs when we don't want to ( or can't ) bring the generator. Thanks for the review.
Thank you for watching! We enjoy using ours for camping and other around the house uses!

Wow! Impressive! Thank you for sharing.
Love ours. We got a few for emergency use
Sounds great! We have ours for emergency use, as well.
Love my Jackery too!! It’s an amazing product!
That’s so great to hear!!!
I need to eventually get one of these too! Will use your link when we do!
Awesome! We really enjoy using it. And it’s light enough that I can carry it. It will be perfect for your upcoming boondocking!!!

Great info!…thanks
Thank you!!!!
I passed up the power station and went full lithium in the camper. I can see why a lot of smaller rigs and vans like them though
Lithium batteries is a good investment! If you know you’re going to keep your rig for a while, definitely worth the investment and putting them in.

I have 12 v fridge how? Will it cool fridge
You will need to check the wattage of the refrigerator as Jackeries have limitations depending on which model you purchase.

The Explorer 1000 would have been a great power station if not for its slow charging time. It takes more than 7 hours just to fully charge it.

@@CouchPotatoCamping An EcoFlow Delta Pro (3.6kwh) can charge in 1.8 hours, as an example.
