- This is a vlog I filmed in Feb of 2020 meant for NileBlue, that I never ended up posting.
I visited the school my dad teaches at to make things explode. This was one of the first times I tested out the high speed camera that I got at the end of 2019.

You can really see how Nile is so used to explosions. The person next to him jumps back, but nile just goes forward and stops the camera lol.

High speed cameras are constantly recording, and overwriting the storage buffer, you have to hit a button to save the footage before it’s overwritten and lost forever.
Considering his Dad, I now understand how NileRed came to be.

For an electronics class I had in highschool a bunch of people made speaker boxes. We had 7 subwoofers going at once thanks to my class D amp rack. There was so much bass people from the other side of the school lost power. My amp rack, 3 amps and 3 capacitors, put out 3,000 watts on an easy day. This is why class room needs to also be hands on.
Dad must have been a literal blast at take your parents to school day.

That "Son of a gun." response to an explosion makes me remember (parts of) high-school chemistry (and Scouts) fondly.
Though this video shows using a plug instead of bare wires; And I understand the unambiguous 'safety' offered by a disconnected wire; I'm still -mildly confused- _slightly_ disappointed that a {remote/pendant/tap} isn't used as the actual trigger to -avoid an open spark and- reduce wear on the outlet. They're relatively cheap, and I don't think any of the schools (I've attended) lacked them.
