I've trained and flown as a Door Gunner in the Royal Navy, and I've never seen such a ridiculous waste of ammunition and indiscriminate shooting as this. No wonder they lost! I'm stunned some of those thousands of spent shell cases didn't hit the tail rotor.

This is a Huey its tail rotar is pretty far back. No way those casings would have hit the tail rotor.
