The Vita is my favorite way to play Legacy Console Edition. I don't have the space to keep the ol' 360 hooked up and it's a hassle to unpack it just to play it for a little while only to have to put it away again. With the Vita, you just put it in your pocket and that's that. I keep my Vita in my bag, so I end up playing it more and I can take it with me when on the road for work. I usually play Java on the Steam Deck with a bit of Pocket Edition on my phone, but it's nice to switch things up and play Legacy Console Edition every once in a while.
@@Rero64 Java runs great on the Steam Deck. You have to download a third party launcher, though. And if you want to take it on the go and don't want to be limited to keyboard and mouse at a desk, you will either need to download a controller support mod, or do what I did and manually recreate the controls from Bedrock/Console edition inside of Steam Input. The mods are a little janky and the way Steam Input works, I haven't found a perfect way to differentiate right clicking to eat or place a block from right clicking to interact with something that pulls up a UI such as a chest, crafting bench, villager, furnace, &c. Placing blocks and the like just needs a right click. Interacting with something needs to right click, then change the controls to the UI layer so you can properly use your inventory. I use one of the extra buttons on the back of the controller to act as right click and change to the UI layer and just use the trigger as normal to place blocks, use bows, &c.

You called minecraft on the 3ds propietary, but you do realize its just a heavily cutdown version of pocket edition being shoved into a strangely overpriced handheld right?
I actually have the special Minecraft edition of the ps vita it’s super sleek and nice
It’s a really neat special edition console!

Right? It’s got a vibe to it so unique to the newer versions! How does Java run on the Deck? Been thinking about saving for one!

You don't mind a poor frame rate
@@cyberjajo3132Only the updated version of Vita Edition has that issue. If you don't download the update and just play it as is, it runs very smoothly

Psvita minecraft is GOATED
Did you feed your children or get a 3ds capture card for htis video
Thankfully hacking is free so the children still eat
and the switch version of bedrock is somehow worse than both of them, depressing
If only the Legacy Console version of switch had a physical copy
Exactly
How so? Seems to work fine. I have the console and bedrock editions on switch
You can make the Vita version perform better by overclocking the CPU
Can you recommend a video about that or explain how to? :)
@@Pegzziom Vita grafix, shouldnt be hard to find a tutorial to install it
Ngl psvita edition runs perfectly, I didn't want to update to the aquatic update since I knew there would be frame drops when running chunks
The PSVITA edition is goated imo
I will subscribe if you put out more Ps Vita content (and consistent) not once per semester
for me its better than the switch version and also alot cheaper👍

By proprietary I just meant very different, specifically considering it utilizes two screens rather than one

overpriced? did you not like the 3ds?
@@hgmd3284The new 3ds was kinda pricy but the 2ds was available for less than $100(but Minecraft isn't supported in that console)
It definitely wasn’t that bad especially with the New 2DS coming out
