Happy to report Ember is fighting fit still after his 'exercise'....! Thanks to everyone as usual for watching, stay wild ✌ 💙
Wow Ember can move, I could hear his hooves getting faster and faster but wow that was some speed. Always better to stay on board in my experience. Had a terrible fall a few years ago cantering across a beach and the stirup leather broke and I hit the sand like a rock, luckily nothing broken but the bruise was impressive to say the least.
Girl, you've got balls. I had an off-the-track TB and I wouldn't have taken him there for all the tea in China! And if I'd been on Ember, I'd have pulley-reined him into the ocean about halfway through that bolt! I felt anxious just fake-riding him LOL.
Ember was just getting going. He felt full of running and I’d have probably chucked the reins at him to feel him flatten and move away again. But then I love the thoroughbred speed ! He’s such a stunning little horse and what a space to let him stretch his heart lungs and legs.
What a rush that was! Ember went from going nicely them him taking off like a rocket! That gallop was amazing though! I bet you were on a high after that Lucy? Great video! xxxxx
When I saw the way Ambers' ears were waving in the wind, I became a bit concerned 😮. All is well that ends well. You're an ace rider, Lucy. I meant to tell you that in my 1st post. I'm 77 and retired from riding at age 67 due to spinal stenosis. Had a job once as an exercise girl at age 25. It was a different experience. Stay safe young lady. 😊 Amber needs many more miles before I 'd feel relaxed with him. Just my learned experience with riding many different horses. 😉
That was so good to go to the British Beach, amazing the sound of those breaking waves and Embers galloping Beat.. the emptiness and the reflection of the sky in the wet sand, so stunning and Beautiful, fresh air, Ember was FREE bless his heart I LOve him, he is a thoroughbred but so like an Arabian Prince, thoroughbreds come from Arabians i think originally, so cute to watch him sprint and find his spirit again .. BravO Lucy he is Born to be WILD and so are you..
Loved the gallop! My 5 year old TB was unbacked when I bought her rising 3, so obviously never raced, but she absolutely loves to run (she was bred with the intention of flat racing). It's what TBs are bred to do and is a wonderful feeling.
OMG! Laughing so hard!! You truly have THE BEST friends ever to put their noses in your arm pits 😂😂😂 TY for your light hearted vlogs & lovely beach pics
Oh how I cant wait for summer here in Aus 🙌 Great advice on trot where you want to canter, I had to learn that for myself too many times in my young days
Sitting here in Australia and feeling rather jealous. I wish I had been there with my horse even though I'm pretty sure that emergency measures would be needed to stop. The fact that it's such a long beach is very reassuring.
Wow! That was quite the ride! Love how after Embers speed trial, he walks along saying 'what!, you didn't enjoy that Lucy?' 😂 Love Wild too. I'm hoping they produce a shampoo bar.
There was a lot of chickens clucking during that gallop😜 Thanks for sharing, it brought back so many wonderful memories for me when I used to gallop on the beach with my boy. Nothing quite so adrenaline pumping ❤❤🇦🇺
Oh man, that Ember is quite the cheeky one! Must admit watching I had full on anxiety (have been on a horse that took off and all my woes/hooo were as well listened to as Ember there!). What were the things you did to finally get him to stop? Were you working towards a circle (left hand?), or maybe half-halts constantly? (are they even half-halts at that point?) Or just he realized his friends were far away and he "won"? So glad it all ended well and that Ember is totally fine! I know I lost a bit of trust when that happened to me (but I'm still a beginner rider) does it do anything to you, or just par for the course? Would be great to learn what finally got him to slow down/stop. P.S. Excellent deodorant commercial, btw! ha! P.P.S. way too many questions... sorry.
You rode that perfectly. Yes as you decided to pull up it didn't happen immediately but you were still ok. That split second when you feel they are gone can be so frightening that people give up subconsciously and horse gets away. You didn't, you relaxed again and he came back to you. Give yourself some credit . You rode "In the Moment"
Your deo Wild certainly affected your horse I think! 😂😂😂 Honestly I think he really loved the gallopp!!! ❤❤ What a beautiful beach and so lovely riding with your friends like this!!! Who needs breaks after all...... 😅😅
Lucy Thank you for shearing your ride on the beach . And so good to see you all out haveing fun . That looked like such an amazing morning , is Amber back on the the track's .The way he was going . I love the way Justine is so onest, with her comments .Thank you for sharing your day . 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍💟💖💟💖
OMG! Talk about letting him have a gallop! I thought for a moment Amber was a run- away! Or lost his mind! But you kept your mind and got him back to reality! Way to go!! Took me 5 minutes to catch my breath!😅 yes, you did need that deodorant, lol!
Well that was one way to check how efficient the deodorant is! Ember started and definitely was going to finish. Well done Lucy, so enjoyed this - what good friends you have willing to smell your pits!
Well smelly pit brigade I’ve never laughed so hard for a while omg that was simply hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I think you should go up 2 holes Lucy when you take Ember on the beach again it’s all about give and take with tbs plus take the neck strap and when you set off face him to the water till he’s settles. You reminded me of my runaway days lol. This was a very fun clip.tfs🤗🏇🤗
My horse would have beaten Ember down the beach if I had asked her to walk past those cows!!! I am going to Holkham once the cows are safely tucked up for the winter….😊
@@ihay472 each to their own. I’d feel safer going flat out and straight, than turning him and risk him taking a tumble. Even one that’s trained can loose it’s balance at that speed. I nearly leaned the hard way when I did it with my horse after he took off with me. Maybe a big wide circle then slowly spiral down but on this beach it looks like there are dips with water to the left. I don’t know how deep those are.
Loved the GoPro beach action! I’ve got an ex racer too and I love having a good gallop on her :) Am sure you know what you’re doing with your horse and know him well, I just thought I’d share how I slow my girly up - I gradually start standing up in the stirrups and moving my weight backwards, and pulse on the reins, she’s never ranked off with me. We always ride with a Trust innosense flexi soft which you mentioned in one of your videos actually (which is why I got it) we do galloping showjumling hacking, schooling in the flexi bit :)
Ember might be a good candidate to learn a one rein stop 😮 and yourself. Well done keeping it together once he turned on the afterburner 🎢💨 and those are true friends to be sniffing you after that!

Wild are a lovely company to deal with and the underarm deodorant is great. The cases look even nicer in real life than they do in the video.
Fun fact: my dad actually does all the fencing for holkham and other places and he did the bridle path fencing and other fencing there too!!

Oh I didn’t even let him go full send… I think I need to take him to the track for that just so I don’t have to trot 10000 miles up the beach 😂
What a rush that was! Ember went from going nicely them him taking off like a rocket! That gallop was amazing though! I bet you were on a high after that Lucy? Great video! xxxxx

Damn! That was scary just to watch! You have so much courage and it's great to see that thoroughbreds really do love to run!
He was having looooots of fun!

Good boy = don't kill me 🤭🤭 loved the gallop !
No joke LOL!
Me too, it's so nice to see him having a good blast!
Ember reminded everyone that he is a TB. Thank goodness for the good footing!

omg you are so brave! honestly, I've galloped along Holkham but boy you were er very fast....perhaps Charlie needs to ride Ember again!
OMG! Laughing so hard!! You truly have THE BEST friends ever to put their noses in your arm pits 😂😂😂 TY for your light hearted vlogs & lovely beach pics
Very exciting ride Lucy. Thank you enjoyed immensely...beach runs super for conditioning - very lucky.
Oh how I cant wait for summer here in Aus 🙌 Great advice on trot where you want to canter, I had to learn that for myself too many times in my young days
It’s a great tip!!
Lucy you're so brave! Ember was like lightening xxx

Holly Molly, that was incredible. Well done for regaining control. You can take the TB off the course, but the Race is still in him.
Holy 🐄 your gonna remember this one for the rest of your life 😊 Good Job
I was sweating just watching that, wow Ember and wow Lucy so brave
Hilarious add for Wild 😂😂😂 gosh Ember is fast😮 you are so brave ❤
Got to love a blast on Holkham beach!
Woooohooooo

Good lord, I think Ember thought he was in the 3:30 at Ascot !!🐎
Literally 😂

Give yourself some credit . You rode "In the Moment"
You rode that amazingly!! ❤
“Happy to be alive” 👌🏻🤣
A tad scary Lucy, just as well you were on the best beach in England to get run away with!
Love that place.
Blooming heck. That boy can shift. He is like poop off a stick😅😅xx
Your deo Wild certainly affected your horse I think! 😂😂😂 Honestly I think he really loved the gallopp!!! ❤❤ What a beautiful beach and so lovely riding with your friends like this!!! Who needs breaks after all...... 😅😅

Omg love your videos just watched alllllll of them from the beginning since you got Bonnie up to now 😂
My legs are burning just watching this. Great ride hahaha
Wow what a DREAMY beach to ride on!
Beautiful beach, but Jesus Amber, you did super well Lucy!!
Oh this is amazing Lucy🤩I’m planning to take my orange ex racer here too so it’s great to have an insight and mentally prepare myself🤣🐎
Highly recommend it! You’ll have a blast, you have way better brakes than me 😅
@@footluceeventing Have a blast - literally😂 I’ll let you know if I survive👀🧡
Omg Lucy! I've heard of marketing but this is brillant (and funny)
Good boy, good boy, HELP!
Well smelly pit brigade I’ve never laughed so hard for a while omg that was simply hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. On the plus side, at least it seemed exuberant and not AHHHH I'M TERRIFIED runaway!!!
My horse would have beaten Ember down the beach if I had asked her to walk past those cows!!! I am going to Holkham once the cows are safely tucked up for the winter….😊
😂😂
Can't beat a blast on the beach 🐎🐎🐎
Can you help with struggling to get over a pole cause I cry and I hate my confidence but like I can go so bigger
Thought you were getting run away with for a bit. Beautiful scenery
I love the farmyard noises. So hilarious. Are one rein emergency stops ever taught in the English world? (Western rider here)
Very much is I’m an English riding and love it lol
I think that would be pretty dangerous to do at that speed
@@fishygirl3548 not with a horse that has been trained to one rein stop. On that big wide beach though it'd be even easier.
@@ihay472 each to their own. I’d feel safer going flat out and straight, than turning him and risk him taking a tumble. Even one that’s trained can loose it’s balance at that speed. I nearly leaned the hard way when I did it with my horse after he took off with me.

I can remember something similar happened to me, I decided to turn him into the sea, it stopped him in his tracks.
You certainly tested that deodorant out my goodness haha !
Lucy IM SO SORRY to say that , I REALLY SHOULDNT OF,
God my an
My anxiety went through the roof watching that.
Don't feel alone! I know my heart beat increased double, lol!! 😅
Great gallop.
Sea water is great for equines and the beach excellent exercise. Check out the training of the Legend Red Rum who accomplished 3 Grand Nationals wins.
It looked like you were trying to catch seagulls
Actually you should have pit it only on 1 arm pit, to smell the difference 😅
Why does Ember’s head look tilted to the right.
Loved the GoPro beach action! I actually really rate wild deodorant... its a great natural antiperspirant.
Perhaps a stronger bit would give you a bit more control in those circumstances not always the most favourable option, but would give you some brakes!
OARHH luce ,god was with you but ,think maybe call it a day , are you really enjoying him,| sorry
but that was my first thought.
Ember might be a good candidate to learn a one rein stop 😮 and yourself. Well done keeping it together once he turned on the afterburner 🎢💨 and those are true friends to be sniffing you after that!
I was very triggered by the flat-out gallop 🫣 well done for staying calm! Slightly terrifying x
