I went on my first hack a few months ago, on my friends arab she was a handful for me. As she had a sore foot she couldn’t trot on the roads, and she kept spooking at people walking past but didn’t spook as the big loud bus going past. We returned after the spooky and crow hopping hack , for me to canter her and she bucked and I hit my back on the fence and landed on my head and rolled up right. :) sorry all my comments are essays on how I fell off but I feel like your my friend and you listen. (Turns out I was concussed and nearly fractured my spine). You managed all of this like a champion, it’s sad how people don’t slow down anymore.
I’m alright still lost all my confidence, but I’ve went down in my yard grade after being in grade 3 but I asked to go down to grade two. Im getting happy and more confident whilst riding, I hope to return to my stage before all my falls soon.
We all have tough rides on Thursday I got bucked off bad and I have a giant bruise I was riding western too so when he started bucking I got smashed in the head by the horn it sucks😢
I really want a horse and your videos are great as I want to learn more to prove to my mum that I can handle one. I used to ride when I was younger but I can't anymore as I didn't own that horse and it was rehomed. It is my birthday soon and exactly 2 years ago from my birthday was when my mum told me the horse was rehomed. I hope to get a horse soon. Your videos are amazing and I subbed! Thx for being you!!
Nothing much just- vet bills, stable, shavings,straw/hay,food,supplements,saddles,bridles,bits,girths,ear bonnets, shoes, farriers, jumping boots, polo wraps, saddle pads, field, grass, hivis, martingale, breastplate. Also not all horses use these things, dressage and jumping require different things. ALSO a trainer, lessons, event hires, etc
@@Buckedbyagrey As a person who rides western this is a lot. lol for me it's vet bills, acreage, hay, grain, supplements, bridle, bits, cinch, farrier, bell boots, saddle pad, saddle, breast collar. probably a bit more but im blanking today😅
WARNING ALL AUSTRALIANS Currently in VIC there is some mystery virus going around that killed over 40 horses in the last week. It is recommended you keep your horses at home and only take them out if necessary. Symptoms can include your horse being lethargic and having a high temperature. We still don't know how this is spreading so fast but a very likely theory is that it is airborne. This has started to spread to NSW and SA aswell but is mainly in VIC.
