OPINION: i wish they'd make one with just the small window. I find the big clear window too demonstrator/twsbi looking. I like demonstrators but i think it messes with the overall look of this pen.

I agree, and I think it would look better with silver trim, because at certain angles that clear ring looks like silver metal.

The Visconti Homo Sapians Crystal Dream is an amazing looking fountain pen. The rubberized volcanic resin body feels great in the hand. The large ink wondow, bayonet capping system, and double reservoir vacuum filling system are wonderful. Unfortunately though, never buy this fountain pen unless you are willing to have the nib reworked. The nib on mine is by far the worst nib on any fountain pen I have ever purchased. The tines are stacked on top of each other. I purchased the pen a few months ago. It still does not write at all.
