    Second night of joint testing on the NJ Racetrack. Speeds start fairly slow and pick up as the night progresses until track speeds of 125 mph / 165 mph are reached. HHPC 9750 is getting very close to entering revenue service now. Keep an eye out for daylight testing to NYP soon! Enjoy =)

Usually when trains pass each other they dim the lights so they don't blind the other driver, but since they can't dim them they just turn them off I guess. If you keep watching right when the train passes the station they come back on.

    Come on Amtrak, push the pedal down harder! Reach 190 to 225 mph! The new Japanese cho Shinkansen maglev super train can reach speeds of up to 375 mph. Highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology, the new american dream....

    • @carlsmith5545
      @carlsmith5545 3 месяца назад

      Yes the United States of America should of had highspeed bullet train technology decades ago. These new trains were designed by Aston in Europe, a county that holds the record for fastes train on rail. But here in the so called mighty United States of America, you know, the country that can put a man on the moon to jump around and pick up rocks at a cost of billions, can't achieve highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric) and one of the reasons why is because americans are blind and stupid to this technology which causes negativity. Don't believe me? Look at your own remarks. The United States governments are idiots. I know you're american but atleast try to visualize this.. Exsample, i make the 831 mile trip from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida 3 times a year. Traveling through the night when everyone is home and out of my way, it takes me 11.5 to 12.5 hours to drive or 13.5 to 14.5 by EV. If there was a bullet line that spanned the entire United States Eastern seaboard from Boston Massachusetts to Jacksonville Florida, stopping in one city in each state it travels through, i could board in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and be in Jacksonville Florida in 4 to 6 hours and all at 200 plus mph and not a ripple on your martinis. I could board in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and be in New York city in 20 minutes and go to work and still be home in time for supper. You could move millions of americans up and down the entire United States Eastern seaboard with great comfort. Did you ever sit in that i-95 traffic? Or be one out of thousands of people who sit stranded at airports due to cancellations and delays during the holidays and travel seasons year after year? This would would free up some of this. But you're an American. You will never see it. But the next time you're in traffic, think of this alternative which your mighty United States of America dosent have. Like i said, come on Amtrak, push the pedal down harder. Highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology, the new american dream....

      The use of articulated trucks under the cars is a big mistake. If there is one major problem with ONE car then the ENTIRE train is out of service. That is beyond STUPID !
      People in the area will have issues with those horns, too. In this country I bet not many people will recognize the sound, hence it's a safety issue.
