Interesting approach , i play agalïs not in hand and pull her with isemgrim’s council. Still working on it , allready had a 80+ aglaïs. Maybe ill share when i am happy with it 😀
Might try this later, I had 10 matches with a Boost Aglais deck the other day and only won 2, one of which was a lost connection in R1... That deck had Forge as leader and Saesenthessis and Gabor Zigrin as immunity units for R3 but i just could not win R1 to have final say and Aglais was always dealt with, with Heatwave, Morkvag, and a couple of Geralt variations. I also tried a similar deck with Figgis fitted in protecting Aglais but that was no good either. Then I played with a deck with Syanna, Aglais and Figgis... Aglais was massive as you might expect and i won a few games and lost a few so about 50/50 but the rest of the deck was far too weak to get any consistency. I gave up and returned to Devotion Gift soon after.
Hello there! In the current patch, Nature's Gift is more consistent deck, no doubt about that - its meta version is actually one of the most consistent decks overall, so no competition there. Traps in this deck and their respective combos, however, can help a lot with securing a win in the 1st Round. Many decks do not have a proper counter to them, as one Bomb Heaver in deck is simply not enough. Consequently, a lot of players will pass the 1st Round as traps start to accumulate, just because they don't have a viable answer to this kind of cards. If your opponent did not get far ahead point-wise you can quite easily get into the Round control of the match. Think twice before comitting the Double Pitfall combo with Iorveth tho, as it can often be gamechanging if played right (sometimes one needs to get a little lucky there ofc). Still, if you wanna do some speed-climbing, you may want to turn to more stable decks, as you said yourself. Some of those, or at least my take on them, will be coming up in the next video 🤫
@@0rfeus39 Thanks for that I'm rank 0 but i'm always on the look out for new thinks, especially with Scoia'tael.. I love the idea of being so far behind that your opponent thinks its just a formality to get the win only for it to be smashed in one card! Trouble is, playing 2x Thunderbolts before the Aglais play kind of makes your intentions obvious but if you have final say then its unstoppable. Just got to make sure you're not too far behind so that you can't catch up. Whats the largest possible boost for Aglais without Dunca/Smuggler boosts, if you have 2x thunderbolts (24) 3x leader charges (another 12 is it?) Mahakam Horn (another 8) so 44 so far what else am i missing?
@@romirainonme620 There are cards like Ithlinne (a little overpriced tho), Sirssa and Freixenet (both can boost a unit in hand by 2), Circle of Life obviously and often a little overlooked Enchanted Armor stratagem. It can even be doubled by Radeyah, Shupe: Knight can also boost a unit in hand by 2 (although it's a random one). If you have Aglaïs in hand from the start (not that hard actually, with Matta Hu'uri), you're in for a huge one, in perfect circumstances she alone can get above 100 points. The biggest one I ever saw was, I think, 112 points 😆
