This could actually be nightmarishly sad. Rhea namedrops Byleth's mother, and Byleth has no idea who she's talking about. That would imply that Byleth doesn't know her Mother's name.
This is mostly Jeralt's faut. He is to reserved about his past. Even the past before the church.
Except Jeralt namedrops Sitri's name to Byleth in their support.
@@thiagoguilhermedeoliveira4835 I’m pretty sure Jeralt doesn’t even directly confirm Byleth is his biological daughter, or am I wrong? Obviously we knew he was the father figure so he’s Dad no matter what, but I’m pretty sure they never say it outright until they go to Sitri’s grave.

It's always good to know that Byleth will always be a badass whether they talk full sentences and be expressionless or talk little and express a lot...for someone who is mostly unable to do too much facial and verbal expression" due to the crest (and lack of friends...and being sheltered for most of their life in both timelines...and dealing with a whole ass Sothis...amongst other things)
This game made me understand and love Byleth more
I thought the lack of emotion was because of the heart not beating thing
@@bushhead3614 the heart was only that way due to the crest. Their crest pretty much affected everything about them before they evolve as a person through teaching and tea time.
@@bushhead3614 I think it has to do with her having a god inside of her. Like Sitiri was said to be the same way by Jeralt, though he does say she was able to express emotions, just that she was more muted or something
@@bushhead3614 it’s because of the crest and Sothis. “The Ashen Demon” is what happens when Sothis is sleeping as their emotions are severely muted and is basically acting as a meat vessel waiting for Sothis, Once she wakes up, Byleth begins to have emotions, and within months (helped by social interaction with students and academy life) they are smiling, crying, and getting angry.
In fact, mere hours after Sothis awakens, Byleth jumps in front of Edelgard and dies trying to protect her. Jeralt even note how odd it is that Byleth protected anyone like that on instinct even after it’s reversed.
Byleth be like: Jeralt, you’ve got some explaining to do

I love this cause it shows she wouldn’t have had such a breakdown if Byleth hadn’t join someone robbing her kin. She laments the situation but she’s not having a breakdown over it.
Not exactly. In the scenario she has a breakdown, Byleth was on her side before betraying her for Edelgard. In this one however, Byleth never was on her side to begin with, so while it stings for her, its not as bad as a betrayal.
Also, in this timeline, she isn't aware of Byleth's awakening.
For all she knows, Byleth is just another failed attempt, and has no idea they actually are one with Sothis.

@@BlackfangDragon Rhea does not know that. As far as she knows, that's their natural hair and eye color (Not far fetched, considering their perents).
Also, they don't hold the Sword of the Creator or had been reportadly done an amazing feat of dying and coming back (What onlookers would think happened with Solon) like in Three Houses.
@@ItamarO93 Rhea saw them when they were a baby. It’d be pretty hard to not notice the child’s hair glowing or not when she instantly notices who they are just like in Houses by sight alone.

I love Three Houses but Three Hopes now is my favorite, Seiros upset that Byleth and Jeralt fight her but not all that angry and that is do cause of the fact Byleth was never a teacher and such, we see the side of Seiros that we only see snippets of in Three Houses
Rhea as an enemy is done so much better in this game as she still retains her same personality while also showing concern for her allies and while she still harbours hatred for her enemies (who wouldn’t) she doesn’t completely derail as a character and still comes across mostly benevolent. I always hated the complete character assassination she underwent in Crimson Flower to try and make Edelgard look better.

@@RyokoAsakuraLastFan yeh i know , but War is a really complex and interesting topic and the cast of three houses is well written for this thing. You can't resolve all of these disordera in fodlàn by just being honest.
It’s likely it would have gone a long way, but these people never think like that.

It also occurs in scarlet blaze route if you recruit Byleth and pit them against her in the final chapter which has Rhea becoming shocked.

I haven’t seen anything on it so I’m guessing no? It’s pretty hilarious though how in Azure Gleam Seteth and Flayn somehow don’t notice the Nabatean looking person in their army nor does Rhea see them in the camp before the final battle despite them all being RIGHT THERE lmao.
I just barely finished this route and brought the Eisner's to these fights, but I couldn't get the interactions to trigger.
Three Hopes proves that Zephiel was the good guy in Binding Blade.

@Methodius If we're talking about "returning", the Agarthans were there first. While most Agarthans view the "common people" as beasts as well, Epimenides appears to just mock them for being dumb enough to side with "abominations".
@Methodius I think it's meant to show that Epimenides isn't nearly as bad as Thales is. In his paralogue, he even said that he finds Thales's methods distasteful.

The chad byleth
Well, I believe it was stated that the developers for 3Hopes didn't want to make a good ending for either side due to Byleth not being around to bring the best in the mains lords and Rhea, I Think Byleth should not have been a self insert in 3houses because it diminished the depth and growth of many chraracters, namely Claude and Edelgard (aKa the avatar simp) that is the reason I found Azure moon so much better on character and story writing in the original game (and also more aligned with the traditional FE formula).
I think the issue why Byleth was Silent Protagonist is because of their previous game (not counting Echoes since that remake) Protagonist wasn't received so well
So they decided to play safe and just had a Silent Protagonist which is a rather dumb decision because instead of trying to improve the next Protagonist they went the lazy route and just make the new Protagonist Silent
Developers' reasons why 3Hopes endings are left on a cliffhanger is a poor excuse to try not to come up with a satisfying ending (and maybe trying to set up DLC) and trying to please 3 houses fans by the saying "characters are unless without Byleth"
Both Byleth and Shez have no reason for being in the game since they did nothing for the plot of the game
Also, Shez's background story isn't explain
Who are their parents?
Who are their step mum and what secrets is she keeping from them?
What is their connection with Agartha?

Honesty it would had be better if they took Shez and Byleth out and have Dimitri, Claude, and Edelgard be the main protagonists on their own routes
@@MattRogan28 all though not everything is explained Shez connection to the Agarthians was explained, Shez has the core of Arval real form which I can't spell, one of the experiments that they did. Some of the other stuff has less define answer that are told in supports and paralogues.
@@MattRogan28 I think it's that BL's route was well structured as far as story goes and people tend to ignore other routes in favor of that. Claude had a hard time being part of the story itself because the Leicester Alliance had hardly anything to do with the war between Rhea, Faerghus, and Adrestia. They cucked Edelgard out of fighting the Slitherers which was part of her plan after defeating the Church to solidify her claims to rid the world of crests and the wicked experiments the Slitherers were conducting behind the scenes.

Yeah people protect a lot Rhea in this game and like, sure, she's really nice and protects a lot of good things but she basically trumps any possible real progress in Fódlan. No matter how good she is, Fódlan will be stuck under old ways if she keeps being the ruler and the Central Church still keeps being the main church force.
She's kind of like a mom that is really nice and really kind but ONLY if you follow her commands and don't act up bc otherwise she'll kick you out of the house.

Some people literally trust the monestary library more than the Shadow Library. The developers even said the normal library cannot be trusted in an interview but these nitwits thought they meant the Shadow Library for no good reason at all.

Three Hopes was better than Three Houses
its an game centered on an au of what would happen to Fodlan if Byleth didn't play such an important role. It gives lore & small details on characters that you didn't learn in the original game. It's not SUPPOSED to be better than Three Houses. It's supposed to COMPLIMENT it.
