Just letting those know that the first time downloading it and accessing it may take awhile. Your console isn't bricked if it takes some time to load, it's just old.
@Nomidy 10 minutes sounds way too long. For me and some others, 4 or less minutes seem to be the maximum time. Re check how you downloaded your files or if you updated your 3ds through Nintendo's way and not through the Pirate way. That can cause problems.

Online features for Gen 6 and 7 are shutting down, so thanks for this. I can finally get all Legendary and Mythical Pokémon! (I already have PKSM installed thanks to my friend that hacked my 3DS for me.)
Also very useful because you can literally start at gen 1 and gen 2 with 3ds VC , then emulate the gen 3 gba games on 3ds , it has native support for nds games gen 4 and gen 5 through twilight menu , plus gens 6 and 7 are 3ds games , so you can take your team from every game all the way with you to the 7th gen and then use Pokémon bank to transfer all of those to Pokémon Home, where you can continue to use them in gen 8 and gen 9. With a modded 3ds and switch you can take your Pokémon across every single generation thanks to PKSM
All my cartridge games starting from red and blue through leaf green and fire red are basically corrupted. I had full dexes completed and several shinies. With this being available I have no problem going back from scratch to get another shot at transferring some old “gameboy caught/started” Pokémon to my Scarlett/Violet. Yeah I know probably dumb taking the time going back but at least I can maybe complete the Home dex with all caught in original titles

@@knotlegend5479 At 1:16 for example, you can see the 'MISC' option. Press it and then on the bottom left of the bottom screen, there will be an 'L' that you press. If the pokemon isn't like, absurd, (like having dragon ascent on a zigzagoon) you'll be able to auto legalise it. Otherwise you'll need to fulfill the requirements it asks for (which could be to change the encounter level, change the moveset, etc).
I've heard of PKSM before but never knew what it did (not a HUGE Pokemon fan but I enjoy the games). Now I'm having fun playing through Ultra Moon with my Completely Legit Shiny Pokerus Charmander with max stats.

Perfect for helping you get through the games if you're starting from the very beginning. I've been scrambling to get to the end games for every title so I can get the legendaries from their native games.
Just note that if it’s not a legal pokemon it won’t trade anywhere. You can actually get premade stuff too. You should’ve mentioned the wi Fi downloads that are connected to pksm.
I have pksm on my 2ds and if you use pksm for the wifi downloads events for your pokemon game you have to delete your save and re-add it save for every wifi event download that you do

I have never modded a system before and a few weeks ago I got a New 3DS LL from Japan and modded it and even changed the firmware from Japan to USA and it was super easy. I modded my wife's OG 3DS after I did mine and all her save data and the few pics she took were still there after so everything you have on it now will stay after modding it. I say do it just follow closely and you'll be fine

You don't really transfer with PKSM it's basically an app that lets you choose into which pokemon game your playing and you can edit your save and give yourself any pokemon in the game, you can give them any moves that are in the game, make it a shiny, Edit it's eves and Ives, edit it's nature , you can give yourself any item in the game it basically lets you get whatever you want and edit almost anything you want so you can't transfer per say but you can just give yourself the Pokemon you want to transfer make him the same level give him the same stats friendship moves etc and then you basically have it transfered
More like cloning/copy and paste/back up than transferring. You transfer with pokebank which is too late to get now I believe. Pokebank will probably not accept edited Pokémon.
I had that issue just now, i just opened up a different game (Persona Q2) then i went back to home and found that i was able to unwrap it. Hope this helps!

that sounds like you might have added a pokemon with too high a level for your badge rating. Like, did you give yourself a level100 mon and have no badges? Cause they will disobey you.

It is not. It will detect the editing even if you make its details proper (youre the OT, where you met it, what ball its in, etc.)
For Pokemon cloned from legit Pokemon yeah, but made out of thin air isn't safe.

3ds mods are some of the most straight forward and beginner friendly console mods ever. Go for it!
