I think people nowadays don’t understand how much of a big role he played has in his genre and being a such a inspiration for millions and changing life at least for me
Superb bass playing Brummie who never forgot his routes. 100% genuine feller and a massive contributor to one of the greatest bands this world has ever seen or is ever likely to see. His song lyrics are phenomenal. Total respect Geezer. You and the boys will always be true legends in my eyes. UTV VTID
I love the story that The band were coming home after a gig, after recording their album, but were unsure if it was out or not. That night John Peel came on the radio, saying '...and now a band called Black Sabbath...' They all thought 'Oh God we have to change our name again. But it was their music coming out of the speakers!I would love to hear Geezer elabotare on that!
Before I saw him interviewed (I've seen him interviewed before too) I thought that the bassist of Black Sabbath would be a real hellraising, harem-come-skit character and I was surprised how mild mannered and respectable he was; it was like hearing someone interview my dad. The same's true here as well
Gees I lived bevington Road it is next too Victoria Road I could see villa park from our house like like you went to a match one day and I was hooked that was in1959 still going down now till I die lots of love up the brummie and the villa and the aston boys
@Alan Smith - massive respect brother. God bless Black Sabbath Tony, Geezer, Ozzy, Bill . The music sounds like the factories around Aston and Birmingham and reflected our lives . Tough resilient people who would give what little we had and great respect for our community. UTV VTID Thank you for sharing . We are one .💯🎵❤🙏
i never believe when bands say its 100% over. they may never tour again ,but they might do a one off show or an album. its been been proven time and time again by bands that say it .
He's said in the past that the one he was most proud of was Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. He said something like, "everything came together for us on that one".
They are good guys who actually care about animals. Who are you? A random person hating on a man who is doing a good thing for innocent animals. Not only that he's the lyrist of Black Sabbath. Geezer Butler is a smart man, and has probably put more thought of the suffering of animals and philosophy of morality more than you ever have. Don't be a hater.
Humble bloke, nice to see a man without an ego who has achieved so much.
UTV.
Same with Tony Iommi and Bill Ward. Too bad none of players probably don't even know who he is.
Tuukkis what the hell are you talking about... all of them are highly acclaimed and well known in the rock world.

АРТИСТ гитары писал тексты и музыку и вдохновлял направление Heavy Metal!!!

I think it’s funny that he’s uncomfortable talking because I could just keep listening to him. Love Geezer. Love Sabbath.
I find it mind blowing how humble this guy is
In the world of metal, grunge and rock, You can hear threads of Sabbath in just about everything. The Beatles of Metal.
I absolutely love listening to Geezer's stories. He's gotta be one of the coolest guys on earth.. Love you Geezer!

Interesting to hear him speak of that footballer he admires. It was odd to find out that my hero has his own hero.

To buy a TV in the 50s was something rare indeed. Most people rented them as they were so expensive in relative terms.

“I’m a Vegan so ...vegan cheese” 😂 this is like something from Spinal Tap.

He looks so kind now compared to that footage of him in the 70,s where he looks menacing.

Public speaking makes him nervous...well good thing he wrote all the Black Sabbath lyrics but didn't have to sing them!
For the amount of drugs consumed by the 4 guys In sabbath they have great memory.. Besides Oz of course
So he doesnt like Cheeser Burgers
Scary
Damn Mr. Butler, I wish I didn't know you were a vegan...

One of my influences to become vegan, thanks Geezer for 34 years of great health.
Truly added years to my life.
You get to ask any question to the best bassist of all time coupled with a unique lyrasist and you ask about soccer !!!!!! really ??????
Not gonna lie. I had never heard of him before this. I'd heard of the group of course, just not him individually.
He's the greatest rock bassist of his time bro
Also ones of greatest lyricist, wrote almost all Sabbath lyrics.
