Got to be the coolest machines to work on, quite envealous that you get to play with this stuff. Nobody in my life even buys this stuff or has a need, I find it very rewarding to work on laser printers, but this has got to be very satisfying to fix.
It is fun, however it can be very frustrating when you cannot figure out what is wrong. Or there is a lot of work to do and something breaks. Over all it is rewarding.
@@rajpsurve1 Maybe some of you can make a video, then you making it? today was thinking about isopropil!!! And maybe someone now minolta 1060 have same cleaner for corona wires?
Thanks for the video, I'm from Machala Ecuador, I just bought a used Konica press c 1060, and I had that problem of the magenta lines, here I was discussing with the technician that he was a cylinder, but thanks to the video we already got out of doubt, now I have A problem with the BLACK and CYAN I get rainy, and the RED does not come out strong but half orange, I hope you can guide me. I don't know any English, I'm using the google translator. Beforehand thank you very much
What percent use is your developer? Or Corona wires? Sometimes when I have poor image quality on a single color I replace the drum, wire and developer. Especially if they are over 200%. To determine the bad part, you can swap two of the wires or drums and see if that makes a difference. It is difficult to trouble shoot when I'm not there. Hope that helps.
@@justaprinter Thank you very much for your guidance, it helped me a lot, it was the developer, now I have a problem I have a paper jam, it stays in a transfer roller, and the paper is half crooked, unfortunately I can not upload a photo to have a clear idea of my problem
@@miguelsolorzano6018 Try a different tray. There are a dozen rollers/sensors that could be causing problems. Could also be a piece of paper stuck in machine somewhere. Try different weights of paper.
@@justaprinter Good night, it goes crooked sending from any of the 4 trays that my machine has, but it is more noticeable on thin paper, thick it goes suck but not much, I think the problem is from the M2 until before reaching the transfer roller That is before the fuser.
Amazing channel, I have learned a lot from your channel. I have C1060 press, and currently I face with a problem. The corona wire (Black) really easy to get dirty. I mean the toner appear after few papers printed :( I tried to clean the corona wire as clean as possible but it doesn't work :( Please helpppp :( Sorry for my English is not good.
Hi. How hard is it to remove the corona wires from the machine. From the video you seem to remove it with ease but for my machine I tried to remove them but they're very tightly held on. Its Sunday and I have some work and I know I can't get a service call. My machine is 3months old. Is there something am doing wrong?
hi, i wondering for some advice, im thinking to add a konica C1060 to my printshop , but i dont fine any information about print cost per paper sheet, could you please give an idea how much it cost, i have offset press but need to enter in to digital press , thanks in advance
Konica charges $0.04 per click for a service contract. Depending on ink coverage, if you service it yourself, your per click cost would be down closer to $0.01 or less.

Excellent, I just used this video to clean my coronas on my offcontract new 3070. Worked perfectly, Thanks!
Glad it helped
We use cotton swab or tweezer with cotton on non tearable paper. Open corona nets. It removes much of the toners.
Interesting, I'll have to try that.

It depends what the dirt looks like on the paper, it could be a belt cleaning blade or drum issue too.
So if I reset the counter in corona wires, does it get any effect?
Good work my bro
Thanks!

Corona Wire ?????
It is a thin wire that runs inside the corona unit on most digital printers.
