- Quick clip from the amazing movie Little Children where Ronnie runs to the park after the death of his mother May and trying to comply with her last wish of him being "a good boy." If you haven't seen this movie I cannot recommend it enough. Jackie Earle Haley delivers an amazing performance along with Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson.

That switch from him being a grown man dealing with childish urges, to him becoming Larry's possible second chance. A lot of poetry in this film and it still holds up beyond it's time.
Childish urges? That's what we're calling pedophilia now?
Jackie Earle Haley, almost quit acting after many years off screen. imagine the waste of an actor that would have been. this is one of his finest performances ever. shame he never won the Oscar, he deserved it x
Yes he did
When he was a kid, he began acting.
He was nominated though. So that counted for something back then.

This is such a chilling, powerful movie. Every character in it is flawed. Some unforgivably so. Yet the film never forgets about their humanity.
Liam Pendergast I love this movie and I wish this clip hadn’t cut the narrators ending words .
“Although it may be too late to change your last. It’s never too late...to change your future.”
When he said "mommy's gone", it really hit me... it conveyed such a sense of loneliness...
😥My 💔always aches for any1 being hurt,or humiliated even if they're 👹 for some weird reason.Should'nt have to apologize for being good 💓ed humans. That's what Jesus wanted us to be.👏🏻😞RESPECT!
Such an intense scene. JEH did an amazing job at keeping the viewer frightened and at the same time making the viewer really care about him.
I love the characters all culminating in this scene. Ronnie and Kates character are both in the park because of seperate reasons, and they come together in this scene, their storylines collide for a minute or so.
This movie was a freaking masterpiece and is heavily unerrated the performances are incredible and deserve much more recognition than they got.
I feel bad for him :(. Jackie Earle Haley did GREAT in this movie, awesome actor :)
When the doctors see Ronnie castrated, what are they gonna say?
One of the greatest performances of all time!!
wow he has balls to do that, i mean, he had balls...
What are the doctors gonna say in the hospital?
Jackie earle haily played so perfect as always with all his heart
Even human beings will prompt to make such mistakes. He made wrong choices and even everyone knew he isn't well in the movie. Have compassion for those who made mistakes. He regretted his mistakes and cutting himself in the movie, proves how much he regretted and wishing to repent himself.
😥My 💔always aches for anyone being hurt,or humiliated in any way, even if they're considered👹, but as long as they're realy feeling regret for ever hurting others. For some weird reason, I feel that pain.No one should ever have to apologize for being good hearted humans....That's the way Jesus wanted all of us to be.👏🏻😞..Repent,apologize,reconstruct & learn to forgive in order to be able to heal & move forward...RESPECT!
Kate Winslet is so amazing!!
he made up for it as Rorschach !
the way he picked him up omg 🥺
This scene gave me chills!
i cried in this scene and whenever i think this scene i want to cry
I closed and covered my ears
Kate Winslet so desperately pushing her daughter on the swing... *chills*
Terrific film. Don't know why I hadn't heard of it before now. Need to read the book
Isn’t the book better than the movie?
In the end he saved the person he most hated.....he was given another chance...since the mall accident.....
He who?
@@harrystoller4147 Larry, the cop, friend of Brad.
@@legohenry620 you mean Larry saved Ronnie?
@@harrystoller4147 yes, it was in the movie
@@legohenry620 what are the doctors gonna say when they see where Ronnie castrated himself? What are grows?
I'm glad they changed the scene from what it was in the novel to this. In the original story Ronnie molests and kills a kid and Larry still somehow finds it in him to forgive him. Eeesh.
BloodylocksBathory yeah, i heard this movie adaptation is actually better than the book it came from LOL
@Tweed Penguin some mistakes you can’t come back from.
@Tweed Penguin yea, if you think molesting and killing is a mistake. mistakes are accidents.
Larry was only arrested for awhile, right?
So not reading the book now.
What I like about this movie is that it is a grim portrayal of real life.
...Tonight he could save a life. He knew Ronnie had done some bad things in his past, but so had Larry. You couldn't change the past, but the future could be a different story, and it had to start somewhere.
I love that ending....
@awooga arminstan Yep
Who could save whose life?
What did Larry do

The whole thing is heartbreaking ):
I like how the Ronnie make a ''free fall'' and droped in policeman arms, and he take him like some skiny 10 years old kid. :)) Sorry for my bad english. Keep it good.
Great now I can't live at home with my mother without ppl thinking I'm crazy
hold a sec ! isnt this dude the same actor of *RORSHCHACH* ?!! awesome actor !! (and also the same guy who played Owlman is in this movie it seems )
Yes
This was such a tense scene because we last saw Ronnie with a knife and of course him being a sex offender. You knew something bad was going to happen to the little girl because it was clear Sarah was not the most attentive and nurturing mother. One of the themes was the innocent children being victims to these adult decisions. So this scene felt like a cumulation for Sarah and the audience.
The cop did know, and he was bullying him.
He was leaving signs around his house and telling everyone. His mom tried to stop the cop and the cop accidentally killed his mom. His mom told him in her will to be a "good boy'' so he castrated himself.
Will Ronnie be alright?
@@harrystoller4147 The happy ending... means Ronnie will live - the people in this story will be better off, and they will get a second chance at life.
My screen is dark and although I had watched this movie before I suddenly thought he had pooped his pants 😂
Jackie Earle Haley is going to be the priemere character actor of the next decade
I hope so soon…
@shegwin Oooh! I haven't seen that movie in forever!!! I have a copy of it, and I haven't messed with it in years!! That is a sad/good and deep movie. Props to Kevin Bacon for playing such a dark/deep role like that! Him and Jackie... Amazing!
I begin to watch this film last night, but I have to stopped because was to late for me. I hope to get it this weekend because it impressed me a lot. Over all the way wich shows the differents points of view, making falls simplistic thoughts.
👀So, did you finally finish watching the entire film?
Did you ginished it?
I understood that, but only recently heard there is a novel. Who wrote it? Could you please tell me? I just loved this film, and Jackie's performance is nothing but absolutely awesome!
Now he'll definitely be a good boy my God -O.O-
This made me.. cry... alot. I'd never felt so horrible for a child molester.
queenofsingin99 he didn't molest children
Jordan Patriarca He didn’t ? then why the fuck do people think he did?
@@actionfigurescollectionssu7854 he exposed himself to a child
@@goku8621 Why ?
This scared me. Especially when Sara panicked looking for Lucy.
The cop light at the end 😆
@pureaddiction I've never seen this movie. What happens to Ronnie after he's hospitalized?
Judging by the amount of blood, he cut off his penis. The testicles don't have many blood vessels and removing them is not generally life-threatening. Removing the penis would cause massive bleeding and certain death if not treated quickly, as the penis has many channels for blood and many blood vessels within it.
Haley is going to go a long way.
And he did!
@@TheJoker-jv3ou Man 15 years ago, that's insane
I haven't watched this but I saw a bit on TikTok. It makes me gagged thinking what he did 🤢
Also when he was crying in the park about his mum I cried for him I didn't want to but the tears literally came out 😭
I love you, Ronnie! *HUG* Poor man.
@thughes630 Jackie is amazing.
so SCARY
Great movie but searching for scenes fucks up your search history.
Do you know how hard I cried when I was watching this movie! God! I HAVE never wanted to cry for a pedophile before... But god! Jackie just made me break down and cry sooo hard! He played such a deep, believable, character that I just believed the whole thing and wept!
Great movie. Sooo fucking deep and sad... And gosh! Thnx for posting this part! IIt's the most important part in the movie in my opinion.
Even though a sick twisted fuck he still had emotions
No. So bc someone is going through a hardship it’s okay if they make a child suffer what don’t make it make sense bc what the uckkkk
dammit now where the rest of it
Did she ever find Lucy? What happened to her?
For the actor in titanic. This movie doesn't seem to old
Being at that time in a park with urchild?!!!!
Why did I think this movie was Freddie Krueger origins movie
@weapon13WhiteFang you whoudl watch the woodsman.
um wtf happened y he bleeding
lol is space ghost the narrator XD
I don’t know but the narrator had been uncredited
its a film. the blood was there for effect.
Was it fake blood?
The most heartbreaking part is so many towns have this man who is harmless but everyone thinks is this spooky monster imagine the feeling of having nobody who cares for ypun
We always put out hatred on the monster but never ask how the monster feels about it I kinda teared up when he said I'm goanna be good now the man castrated himself because he couldent take it 😢😢
So the actor that plays Ronnie actually played the remake of Freddy Krueger, and when I was watching the trailer, I thought this was about how Freddie cougar became a child molester, but it isn’t
I've not seen this film in it's entirety yet, so I can't speak for the film, but whenever I've heard the term "castration", it generally refers to the removing or inhibbiting the function of the testicles, and generally not the penis. I assumed he just removed his balls in this clip, but is there evidence that he cut off more?
He actually cut his penis off
him and clancy brown are gonna be in Nightmare on Elm Street also
Poor Ronnie :'(
How come he castrated himself?
@@harrystoller4147his mom left him a note telling him to be a good boy and since ronnie was a sex offender he castrated himself so he wouldn't do any more of that stuff.
he should have taken that OSCAR home
It was written by Tom Perrotta. JEH's character is far less sympathetic in the book though.
Jessica Adamson spoilers:
He kills a little girl doesn’t he
Also, the husband runs off with the internet pornstar. I think.
They did hire an actress for the pornstar and she has a scene that was deleted - you can view it in IMDB - it’s in a highlight reel.
The husband meets her at a restaraubt and I think he wants exclusivity but she denies him this - but encourages him to come with her and be with her anywaysz
This is possibly one of my favorite movies - and for being a bit bleak and depressing - the gives a glimmer of hope

@spiritsword83 interesting u mention depp: Johnny depp was acompanying Jackie to the original "NOES" because Jackie wanted the part that Wes Craven then gave to Johnny because he was "dreamy; so it's ironic that over 20 years later Jackie is picked to play Freddy krueger in the remake :D

Rorschach: "Rorschach's journal. October 12th, 1985.
Dog carcass in alley this morning. Tire tread on burst stomach. The city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "no". They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good men like my father, or president Truman. Decent men who believed in a day's work for a day's pay. Instead they followed the droppings of lechers and communists and didn't realize that the trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody Hell, all those liberals and intellectuals and smooth talkers...and all of a sudden nobody can think of anything to say."

wtf is this ???????????????
The movie is called little children and it's actually pretty good
what a bad scene
Oh Lord, that is awful.
That's...Just wrong.
i havent seen this movie yet, but theres a movie that sympathizes pedophiles? lol no thanks
Nope. Not at all. Ronnie is shown to be a disgusting, but child-like character. This film makes you look at many people who do terrible things and see the "human" side of them. Ronnie is a side plot. This isn't the main point of this movie- the Kate Winslet/Patrick Wilson plot is the main plot. But Jackie Earle Haley brought a character to us that is gross...but also...sad. He hates himself. It's an interesting film.
@Sora Bringer No it's Not. It's called Mental illness..you are Not born that way, you are touched by a family member or someone the family trusts just enough to get closer to the kid. That is how it starts off. They don't really change unless they really want to.
@@deannamarin318 Have to disagree with you, mental illnesses sometimes run through genetics, through families. That's why there are cases of murderers who had great childhoods, who were not abused, still choosing to do wrong. It doesn't just work by traumatic experience, it's more complex than that.
