As a life long cross dresser, since age 5, I understand the idea that many of us have that when we marry the love of our life, all of the desire will suddenly be in our past. At age 75, I have not found the desire to dress enfemme to be any less desirable or exciting. I believe that is the norm for us who enjoy the feminine side of our life. Those of us who are fortunate to marry women who can accept our nature, it is a wonderful thing. Those who are unlucky in that regard can find it very difficult and many times leading into divorce. When I was very young I had no idea that this desire was very common. Hopefully in these times young folks can find that it isn't so very unusual. At the age of seventy seven. I know quite a few married couples. I have never come across it. A lady like your wife... Yes, truly marvelous. And saying those things about her. Makes you a remarkable person and husband. Many blessings to you and family.
My first husband met me when I was 20, so he initially kept the closet door closed. I knew that he really loved going clothing shopping with me and he would pick things out for me to try on .... But, I would catch him picking up things that were definitely not for a petite 5' tall and 98lbs woman. I guessed ..... Call it sixth sense ..... So I picked a shopping day and made a simple comment ..... "That colour would look fab on you" ..... And then walked off to the changing room to give him room. When we went for lunch, he stumbled the words out. It was never a problem between us but we did have to have a serious discussion as to whether this was a case of dressing as a woman or actually wanting to be a woman .... And did he have gay tendancies? His answer was that he enjoyed dressing but definitely was only interested in straight sex. I considered that I had two individuals that I was involved with ..... My male husband and my "girlfriend" who my husband knew about and was happy with. I had dates with both of them! If I was something that my girlfriend would look great in then I would buy it. I do think that it is better if you find a woman who is accepting ..... I think it is heart breaking to have to live a life of hiding.

Thank you Heidi, for for being so open and honest about your relationship with your wife- and your general openness and honesty in your videos. You were so right in telling your wife as soon as you met, about your need to be feminine sometimes, even though you weren't cross-dressing at the time. All long term relationships need that give and take you speak of, and tolerance of one's partner's interests - even if you don't understand them yourself; though, historically, cross-dressing has that, completely unjust since it's completely harmless, shame and social stigma attached to it, which I realize can make it tough for a woman to deal with in a a partner. An accepting wife makes a tremendous leap of faith that despite old stereotypes, a crossdressing husband can still be a great one. It's a lot to ask someone to accept something that we can take a couple of decades to accept within ourselves,......if ever. -but to really be intimate with another human being is to know them fully and make peace with everything that they truly are.
Truly excellent advice, Heidi, that should be very helpful to many. Being open and honest in a marriage is so important to making the relationship work. Yours is definitely an inspiring relationship. And those Love Notes were a brilliant idea by Nikki.

The need to discuss one’s crossdressing interest prior to getting married. 2. Taking the time to understand/appreciate a partner’s interests. (This one applies to all couples, not just ones that include a crossdressing husband.) You made a comment that really got my attention. You said that when you informed your wife, before getting married, about your crossdressing interest, that you thought you had put it in the past. I wonder how many other crossdressers felt that way upon getting married, only to find the desire returned at some point. The cards from your wife were very touching. And, yes, you two are VERY inspiring to many of us.

That quality is her biggest best trait, and allowed both of you to grow and expand. Many others could learn from your Nikki true loving trust. She sure is! She decided a long time ago that if she refused to accept me then I might resent her or deceive her. She trusted me to not take it too far and it’s worked out for us.

Guess you already know things did not go as I thought! Flash forward a number of years and my secret finally came to light... it proved to be a huge damper on everything. While we now function fairly normally as a couple as long as that subject does not arise, but there is a huge void in me being able to feel fulfilled. Your Nikki is indeed a very brave and strong person to meet the challenges that were presented. Bless you both. Thank you for sharing.

HPF Heidi and Nikki. Hope Nikki is improving. Stay mentally tough and fight on! These long endurance medical issues ca wear on you. I am coming up on my one year post 2nd open heart surgury and stroke, that left me visually impaired one one side. Typing these replys can be intensive. As a couple you two set the bar for how bring CDing up in a relationship. I didn't bring that up until she caught me.(my fault) Now my whole family knows and doesn't really care. My ex and I are good friends now. My youngest Daughter even has made a couple of dresses for me! Continue the great videos you're doing it right! ❤❤

It always amazes me how great a relationship you guys have,but I hate to call it luck, bc like any great relationship you worked at it. You had been honest with her about having dressed and you trusted her enough to tell her when the desire came back. You guys have a relationship that seems to be based in mutual respect and trust, it is obvious. You respected her feelings,and allowed her to find her comfort with it , you didn't push it. On her part she didnt do what many women would do, assume that hubby is somehow a pervert or gay. She didnt say no, but you also understood she needed space and time. Likewise she also understood this was important to you, snd she knew I think you also had your own journey to figure out who heidi was, to be comfortable. You can see it in your videos. As you gained confidence she did too, but you also made sure that what you did wasnt causing her distress. I also think she was relieved when as on your day 4 card, she said you were likely getting tired of the work to be Heidi, that can be re assuring that Heidi isnt stealing her husband. Ioved her giving you the cards , that showed to me how much she loves and accepts you. She knew you were facing the unknown, and it let you know each day she was there for you. You two are a great couple and besides nikki being a Jersey girl, you are a role model for what a couple should be...not perfect , that to me is kind of silly, but two imperfect people ( as we all are).able to work at creating something much more perfect than individually:) Glad to hear Nikki is doing well, that is great news too. Hopefully you and she can do a cruise, the two of you together will dazzle and blow out some pacemakers sitting by the pool:)
Nikki is a pretty awesome lady and wish her the best with her "C" issues. I understand I've had similar issues with my guy parts. Just wondering if there have been any Nikki 'things' that you have found you have picked up and now enjoy as much as her?
Thanks Heidi, it was all decades ago. I do get how crappy one can feel, that you want to see people but can't necessarily, lack of energy, etc. And overall just wished to hell life would go back to normal.
@@heidiphox100 I doubt it. but this area near I95 is Very congested . Philly about 40 min from here has pride events and parades. Many streets closed. Roots picnic, expecting 30K people. Baltimore is 30 min SW, NYC is 90 min North, .Jersey beaches 60 min due east I am also close local airports and constant rolling closures for Presidental Motor cades. (actually happens weekly).Doen't even mention Rehoboth Beach. (a Gay hotspot) If you can get car in. Guess who again? It is pretty though. Hope Nikki feels good enough to travel in case you two go out. HUGS, Karin.

HPF Heidi and Nikki. Hope Nikki is improving. Stay mentally tough and fight on! These long endurance medical issues ca wear on you. I am coming up on my one year post 2nd open heart surgury and stroke, that left me visually impaired one one side. Typing these replys can be intensive. As a couple you two set the bar for how bring CDing up in a relationship. I didn't bring that up until she caught me.(my fault) Now my whole family knows and doesn't really care. My ex and I are good friends now. My youngest Daughter even has made a couple of dresses for me! Continue the great videos you're doing it right! ❤❤
It's a day to day thing sometimes. Right now she is doing quite well but all the false alarms have been exhausting. Congratulations on your recovery! Your daughter is cool and apparently skillful.

It always amazes me how great a relationship you guys have,but I hate to call it luck, bc like any great relationship you worked at it. You had been honest with her about having dressed and you trusted her enough to tell her when the desire came back. You guys have a relationship that seems to be based in mutual respect and trust, it is obvious. You respected her feelings,and allowed her to find her comfort with it , you didn't push it. On her part she didnt do what many women would do, assume that hubby is somehow a pervert or gay. She didnt say no, but you also understood she needed space and time. Likewise she also understood this was important to you, snd she knew I think you also had your own journey to figure out who heidi was, to be comfortable. You can see it in your videos. As you gained confidence she did too, but you also made sure that what you did wasnt causing her distress. I also think she was relieved when as on your day 4 card, she said you were likely getting tired of the work to be Heidi, that can be re assuring that Heidi isnt stealing her husband.
Ioved her giving you the cards , that showed to me how much she loves and accepts you. She knew you were facing the unknown, and it let you know each day she was there for you.
You two are a great couple and besides nikki being a Jersey girl, you are a role model for what a couple should be...not perfect , that to me is kind of silly, but two imperfect people ( as we all are).able to work at creating something much more perfect than individually:)

Thanks Heidi, it was all decades ago. I do get how crappy one can feel, that you want to see people but can't necessarily, lack of energy, etc. And overall just wished to hell life would go back to normal.

@@heidiphox100 I doubt it. but this area near I95 is Very congested . Philly about 40 min from here has pride events and parades. Many streets closed. Roots picnic, expecting 30K people. Baltimore is 30 min SW, NYC is 90 min North, .Jersey beaches 60 min due east I am also close local airports and constant rolling closures for Presidental Motor cades. (actually happens weekly).Doen't even mention Rehoboth Beach. (a Gay hotspot) If you can get car in. Guess who again? It is pretty though. Hope Nikki feels good enough to travel in case you two go out. HUGS, Karin.
