    I met Ozzy (and Frank Silvagni) in Savannah, Ga in 1975 as a 19 yr old kid, smoked pot in his hotel room, was told that he was going to have his own band one day called "Blizzard of Oz" (3 years before leaving Sabbath), after being invited to the next show in Lakeland, Fl got in a car accident in front of the hotel they were staying at, Totalled the car, called me Mom from Ozzy's hotel room, was given an All Area Access pass to that evening's show, met Mark Forster, the tour director and became lifelong friends, and toured as a guest of the band for the next several years. I think Bill missed a lot on this one. Jack leads a very interesting life and he didn't pull much out. The worse part was seeing how attentive Jack was to Bill but that wasn't reciprocated. Jack told Bill 3X's he met his wife on Raya, then Bill acts surprised not even 5 minutes later, "oh, you met your wife on Raya, really?" It's like he's having a conversation with Jack but clearly not engaged. If it's not that, it's because he's stoned. Whatever.

      Hi Jc, what you explain is true about Bill, I noticed this with previous interviews where by his body language, tone of voice and all that one can tell when he is asking questions he is not really interested in the answer but only goes through the motions. Maybe that is a bit harsh but it looks to me like Bill is happy as a pig in shit when he can talk about some convoluted story about his life or give his opinion on something. Still love this show and all that so it must not annoy me too much.

      It's called being drunk and high - which is kind of one of the selling points of the show, before anyone suggests that he maybe stay straight for the interviews. This is about having fun, not about him wanting to take on another "serious" job because you guys don't think he's being professional enough. It's meant to be casual, and if you were high and drinking and hanging out with a friend, you'd probably have to be reminded of some things more than once, too. Plus, you know he often does multiple of these in a day, right? Jack might have been his second or third interview in an afternoon.

    • @idnintel
      @idnintel 2 года назад +2

      @@supertrexandroidx Yeah, what you say makes sense when you think about it like that... drinking or smoking the herb may affect people differently and with me I tend to be more focused socially on what the person is saying and therefore involved and more likely to remember points being made.
      However I am not 64 nor have I smoked as much as Bill though EtOH consumption is another story. I like Bill and don't really mind any of this behavior because I take it the same way as you do, it's just fun to make observations as well.

    I always get confused when people say marriage is a lot of work. If you are open and communicate instead of keeping it inside of you and letting it fester. Festering is the problem. My husband and I have been married almost 27 years and I think we have had maybe 5 arguments. Seriously. Communication is the key.

    Funniest part when Jack Osbourne said his dad writes songs. Ozzy has never written a song in his life. 43:40
    It was New Years Eve 1975 and me and my friends were in my basement sitting around a round black table at knee-height.
    We were smoking weed, drinking and listening to music.
    It's a long basement. The table is in the deepest part of the basement. The door out of the basement would be on your right. There were windows you could see out of there.
    My friend Bill was sitting facing those windows when he suddenly let out a horrified gasp, jumped up and ran for that back door. He reached out, grabbed the doorknob and immediately fell back straight like a board and smashed the back of his head on the blades of an old lawn-mower near the door.
    I ran over to Bill and he was ashen and not conscious. I knelt down and cradled him in my arms and I thought he was dead and begged him to come back and as soon as I had that thought the color rose in his cheeks and he woke back up.
    We got him on his feet and sat back down around the table. I quizzed him on anything he remembered but he remembered nothing. The mood was somber at this point and I got the idea of us going to the nearby greasy spoon, which was just over on Lincoln. Maybe lighten the mood a little bit.
    So we went, and as usual I was trailing behind everyone, but I glanced behind me and it was my Father.
    This was terrible news because he had embarrased me and shamed me by his behavior in public many times before and that was the last thing I needed right then. I glanced back again and he was still following behind me, staring at me.
    As we went around the corner I looked back one last time and he was gone. we went to the greasy spoon and ate but everyone just went home and so did I.
    I went home, crashed and was awoken by something I have only heard twice in my entire life (I'm 65, she is 90.), the sound of my Mom weeping.
    I said Mom, what's wrong? She said Dad died last night. He fell back on the stairs where he lived and hit the back of his head on the steps and he bled to death.
