The most difficult thing to find in the baroque repertoire are performers capable of thoroughly controlling the style and rhetoric of a composer from a particular generation of musicians to be able to ornament a piece, without falling into styles that are superfluous, forced, disfiguring and that blur. the composer's idea. Thank you Augusta for this wonderful interpretation. When the taste for the instrument and the music one plays cannot be contained, together with sincere knowledge of the score and having a natural instinct to add ornaments, this difficult-to-find fantasy arises. Without stridency, without theater or trap. only beauty executed with beauty.
Love the warm, sweet tone of Augusta! It would be great to hear some day her rendition of at least one of Biber's fiery and mystical "Rosenkranzsonaten" (Rosary sonatas)!
Is baroque tuning just that extreme, because I hear B Major as opposed to C Major, so everything seems a half-step down. I know it is different, but that much? It sounds very good overall, I am just very confused; my perfect pitch doesn't understand.
@@VoicesofMusic Thank you for letting me know, I've been really worried about all of you, especially when I don't see members for a long time. I guess these days we are all worried about each other.

Typically, your perfect pitch will adjust.
It's also played at A=415.3, rather than A=440. There were many different pitches in the Baroque.

So, is the rest of the gang okay? What is everybody doing?
Everyone is OK, we have been focusing on small videos that can be made safely and we will have more soon!
