On stage he's a monster but behind the make up he's a super chill and sweet dude. It's a shame all the drama that everyone was put through in Misfits but I'm glad that they're mostly on good terms now.
Even hearing him talk about touring with Danzig. Like you could tell how happy he was to be playing with Danzig, so not only was it sweet how excited he got but Glenn had to know that it would just make Doyle happy. I guarantee you that Danzig is like another older brother to Doyle. Ya know?

I always love the questions that Eric asks. They are uncommon and not cliche like most journalist's questions. He always brings up the past, doing a thorough interview. he doesn't have an agenda to exploit the musicians he's interviewing. He seems genuinely interested. Love the interviews. He's very good at his job.

I've seen a lot of people say Doyle is stupid. He seems like a pretty genuine and straight up fella to me, and it looks like he's someone who gets asked a lot of (the same) stupid questions (again and again and again). I don;t think I've ever seen or read a mean spirited word from him about anybody, ever.

The thing that stood out for me is Doyle nailed it on the head when he said it was embarrassing what the "Misfits" had become. He knows you just can't throw anybody on stage and say hey we are the misfits.

Saw Danzig and Doyle last year in SF and this year on HALLOWEEN. It is epic to see your idols up on stage, I know exactly what he means, yeah we are excited but you can feel how happy everyone is just seeing them together on stage. Great fuckn show, great guy.

Great interview and great questions. Doyle is a man of few words but I learned a lot from this interview. Nicely done my friend. And I’m sure he appreciated no weightlifting or diet questions. Guy just says it like is.
I met the guy backstage at a Misfits show, and for twenty minutes of hanging with the band he said hello, signed some stuff and thats it lol
doyle rules, definitely the most intimidating and badass guitarist on stage ever. and a cool dude to boot, much more chill than most of the other misfits! that's why he doesn't get involved with the petty squabbling like jerry only seems to, i love jerry but he clearly is a greedy bastard!

To me, I would rather see the reunion of: Jerry Only, Doyle, Dr.Chud and Michale Graves. Because I believe when it was that "version" of the Misfits, it brought them the most success.
It seems like there were many many questions one after another, some were really tough questions for him. He seems like a VERY down to earth and chill guy. He's my favorite member, essentially neutral in the feud. Just trying to play some music.

That was actually a good interview; the interviewer actually knew what he was talking about (and we actually get to know a little bit more about why Doyle replaced Bobby Steele).
i agree man, totally. usually these dick weasels interviewing doyle dont take advantage of the opportunity to ACTUALLY interview him, theyre just like, "oh doyle ur awesome, ur so big and strong tee hee, i like that one song from the misfits, like, die die, er sumthin like that, ur cool, well bye!" even tho doyle seemed pissy imo still a great interviewer lol

Abominator kicks ass! And I'll buy everything he puts out as well as go to the shows, the singer's good but I really would've like to see Michale Graves singing on this album, I love the classic era Mifits but actually I thought Graves was a perfect fit, the had chemistry I liked even better than with Glen, and I think Glen's better solo, out of Jerry, Doyle and Graves new stuff, I think Graves is the best (except Vagabond & the instrumentals) he's put out more then Jerry & Doyle combined.

I think Danzig+Doyle calling themselves "Misfits Revenge" tells you everything. They are the real deal and they came toghether to clean their legacy from all the dirt.
